A sneak peek at the upcoming "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" toy line from Mattel.
This one gives us our first look at the 3.75" figures.
Hopefully better unmarked pictures will surface the closer we get to next month's 2018 International Toy Fair.

Great seeing new beasties. Those action figures are looking pretty good. Best ever perhaps for this line? Off to share.

Mattel has added the "Jurassic World" toys to their website! They are not available just yet but there is a complete listing of items with MSRPs so this is a great tool to figure out how much you will be spending when they are released!

Very nice resource Dan thank you for posting it. The action figures that are coming with this line seem great.
I don't seem to remember them being that articulated or well sculpted before? Could just be me though. I can't say I have kept up with that line like you.
-
Pics (not mine) of the back of the "Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" (covers movies other than "Jurassic World: The Lost Kingdom") Tyrannosaurus Rex showing the Grant and Muldoon figures.
-
I saw this on our Facebook Feed. I am still marveling about how much better the sculpt work seems for the figures in this line. Dan, were the sculpts as nice as the ones seem to be for this new line of Jurassic World?
I don't remember them being quite this articulated or good on sculpts.
-
The Walmart in Garfield broke the street date on Mattel's "Jurassic World" line!
It looks like Walmart's exclusives are battle damaged (red paint apps resembling "slashes") versions of the regular dinosaurs in the line.
I bought both T-Rex sets.
Look for reviews later tonight.
-
A look at the box for the Mattel "Jurassic World" Gyrosphere RC toy.
It includes a solid vinyl "Owen" figure that can be removed and replaced by an articulated one. There is room for a second figure in it as well.
-
I saw you got your hands on this stuff. Looks good to me.
-
Here is a link to the entire Mattel "Jurassic World" line:

-
Now that is some list. I shared your FB Post to the front page. It is a great time to be a dinosaur collector.
-
More new Mattel "Jurassic World" products have been revealed!
Hopefully these will be out soon since the movie comes out on the 22nd.
-
I saw this on the facebook page and posted it. I wonder if they are hiding anything else. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Dan!
-
More pics of the Lava Surge playset.
There appears to be a connector on the one side so maybe there are additional playsets planned.
-
A connect a play set idea. Ah I see cool things like this and keep wondering if the Star Wars Line could ever get something like that. Good stuff Dan. Off to share.
-
Leaked images of Mattel's 2019 "Jurassic World" line!
The first picture depicts a new sub-line called "Savage Strike" which looks to be a non-exclusive extension of this year's Target exclusive "Legacy" sub-line. Each dinosaur will have some form of action feature. Blue looks like a straight up rerelease of the one from the Owen/Blue 2pk, which is a repaint of the Target "Legacy" Velociraptor. Stiggy looks to be a retool of the Target Pachycephalosaurus. The Tapejara looks to be a retool of the Target Pteranodon. The Dimetrodon is from the (still) unreleased Toys R Us exclusive "Destruct-A-Saurs" line. The other 2 appear to be new sculpts.
The "Action Attack" Stegosaurus gets a repaint and there is a brand new Therizinosaurus.
There will also be a new "big" T-Rex which appears to have some form of tail thrashing action.
It looks like 2019 will be just as hard on the wallet as 2018 had been.
-
More great beasties for your dino collection. Off to share.
-
There is another Walmart exclusive "Jurassic World" set coming!
The Lockwood Manor Ultimate Battle set includes a reissue of the previously released Walmart exclusive "Blue" w/battle damage, a brand new battle damage Indoraptor and the mounted Triceratops skull that played such a critical part in the movie's final battle!
There is no release date as of yet, but as soon as I find out when it is due, I will share that info ASAP!
-
I saw this on our FB Page and posted it. I so need to go see this movie. It is on for Friday!
-
Looks like there is another upcoming "Jurassic World" boxed set to look forward to!
The "Quest For The Indominus Rex Pack" contains repacks of the Mosasaurus and the Matchbox branded submersible as well as a brand new Indominus Rex skeleton.
No word yet on a release date or exclusivity, but as per usual as soon as I know, you will know!
-
Very cool Dan. I liked the opening and ending scenes with this beasty. I already shared it on the main page. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
-
A new "Jurassic World" electronic Indoraptor has been revealed as well as a packaged picture of the lone wave 2 "Action Attack" dinosaur.
These will be showing up before too long I am sure. The Action Attack Suchomimus should actually be out any day now as wave 2 toys are hitting pretty hard right now.
-
Packaged pictures of the wave 3 "Attack Pack" figures have been revealed.
These will be showing up before too long I am sure.
-
I saw this on Facebook and got it on the front page. More beasties for you Dan!
-
A packaged image for the final (and only wave 3 release) Mattel "Jurassic World" Roarivore, the Sinoceratops (formerly listed as a Pachyrhinosaurus) has been revealed!
-
They changed up the deco from the version shown a few months back. I kind of like the original deco better.
-
Announced today at the Mattel panel:
We are getting a Brachiosaurus in the 2019 "Jurassic World" line that will retail for $50 like the Mega Colossal T-Rex!
This is not a drill! This is actually happening!
We are also getting 19 different species next year, although they did not specify how many of those species would be new ones (the smaller dino in the image is an Amargasaurus- a new species for the line).
-
I can't wait to see what kind of box they will put this in. I saw this this morning and got it on the front pages.
-
Our first look at the back of the "Quest For The Indominous" boxed set showing the set's contents.
-
Is this Mososaurus gonna be as big as he should be? I would imagine to be in scale this should be as big as their other big offering you announced the other day.
-
Is this Mososaurus gonna be as big as he should be? I would imagine to be in scale this should be as big as their other big offering you announced the other day.
This will almost certainly be a reissue of the Mosasaurus that is already out. I am hooing for a slightly different deco though so it looks different than the one I have already.
-
Just saw this movie for the 2nd time yesterday. It's really the best JP sequel in my opinion. Ever since I saw the original I was waiting for the DINOSAURS to LEAVE the island. And they finally did it. Even all the new dinosaurs were all the ones I always wanted to see.
Problem is it makes me want all the toys now hahaha. I thought they were great before but now the movie is great! 😂 don't even wanna get $$$$$$$tarted
-
The new Mattel "Jurassic World" Wave 2 "Grab 'N Growl Indoraptor" is out! I scored this one at Target today. It is $29.99 and is part of the same class assortment as the Wave 1"Thrash 'N Throw T-Rex".
It is larger than the previously released Indoraptor and has light (eyes) and sound (various growls) features. When you manipulate the tail, the upper body, neck and head thrash around. When you slide some scales on the top of the tail forward, the front arms come together to grab a dino/figure, the eyes light up and the figure growls.
-
Size comparison: Grab 'N Growl on top, superarticulated on the bottom. The Grab ' N Growl is bigger overall- thicker physique, larger head.
-
I found an almost empty box of Mattel "Jurassic World" wave 3 Mini Action Dinosaurs today at Wal-Mart!
I felt the packages and scored the only ones I wanted from this wave:
Dimorphodon x2
Postosuchus
I would love to get more Dimorphodons but I think I am good on 1 Postosuchus.
I have encluded a scale pic of the regular carded "Attack Pack" Dimorphodon and its "Mini Action Dinosaur" counterpart.
The webbing on the Mini Action Versions legs is almost certainly to make the legs not get pulled off when being removed from the mold but I actually like the way it looks, gives it an alien appearance.
-
I had not seen any reports of these figures being found in the wild yet, but I saw the last 2 human figures in the "Jurassic World" line tonight at Wal-Mart.
If any of my military customizer friends picks up the Mercenary & Anklyosaurus and does not want the Anklyosaurus and the sci-fi claw weapon, hook a brother up ;)

Are you picking one of these up Dan?

Mattel "Jurassic World" "Legacy Collection" action attack dinos Wave 2 FINALLY found in the wild!
They had the all new Gallimimus and the redeco of the Pteranodon but not the Velociraptor redeco or the all new Dilophosaurus.
-
For everyone that was worried that the Dr. Ian Malcolm figure was not going to be released, a friend on one of the action figure pages posted this image tonight. He found it at Target this evening.
-
Cool. Posted your store update on the front page.
-
The Walmart exclusive "Jurassic World" Battle Damage series 2 Gallimimus is out!
I passed on it for a few reasons:
I already have a bunch of Gallimimuses from the previous releases.
I really don't need another Gallimimus.
The deco was messed up on its back (see second pic).
-
I saw your great updates on Facebook and shared em. I appreciate you keeping us in the know Dan.

2019 Mattel "Jurassic World" line found in Wal-Mart!

Looks like there will be some new Tyrannosaurus Rex figures in Mattel's 2019 "Jurassic World" line!
The first set is the "Jurassic World Legacy Collection Tyrannosaurus Rex Pack" which contains a green repaint of the current Legacy T-Rex and what looks like a newly sculpted version of the juvenile T-Rex. As this is listed as a "Legacy" product, I would expect it to be a Target exclusive.
The second item is the "Jurassic World Bite 'N Fight Tyrannosaurus Rex " which appears to be an all new sculpt. Nothing more (size, action features, etc.) is known about this figure as of yet.
We should know more at Toy Fair in February.

The final 2018 Walmart exclusive "Battle Damage" figures have been found in the US finally! They have only been found overseas prior to now.
I picked these up at the Walmart in Teterboro, NJ.
-
I know how good it feels to find that last couple things you need to complete the wave. Glad you found it.
-
Mattel 2019 "Jurassic World" Indominus Rex!
We should get more info in a few weeks at Toy Fair!
-
Looks good to me. Can't wait to see all the new stuff. Its the best thing about February. It sure ain't the weather!
-
Saw a shelf tag at Walmart today for a new "Jurassic World" item I had not heard of before: "Dino Damage T-Rex". It was listed at being $29.98. I have a feeling that this might be the green redeco of the TRU Canada exclusive "Destruct-A-Saurs" T-Rex w/break apart generator that out of focus photos of leaked 2 weeks back.
Hopefully in a week or so, this item will be on the shelf to confirm what it is.
-
The new Mattel "Jurassic World" Battle Damage Albertosaurus is out now at Walmart!
-
Looks good. I wonder what they will show us at Toy Fair.
-
Looks good. I wonder what they will show us at Toy Fair.
There is supposed to be a ton of new stuff shown at Toy Fair (although most of the Wave 1 items are out in stores already) and I am very excited to see what they debut :)
-
Mattel teases their upcoming Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" Brachiosaurus!
-
Now that is gonna be huge, literally and figuratively.
-
Mattel's "Jurassic World" reveals today were not as impressive as I was hoping that they would be. It seems like a vast majority of the new items are either retailer exclusives (which are not shown at Toy Fair) or are not far enough along for them to have had production samples or prototypes at the show.
Surprisingly, several of the 2019 items that are already revealed or in stores were not represented either.
The showstopper for me was the Indominous Rex! It should be out in the fall.
They also revealed a new Colossal scale Blue!
The rest of the reveals were just redecos of 4 of last year's Roarivores and 2 of the just released Dual Attack dinos (Triceratops and Concavenator)
Hopefully we will see the rest of the line at SDCC in August!
-
Colossal Blue:

Indominous Rex:

Dual Attack repaints:

So does Mattel catch as much hades as Hasbro with repaints or do folks like these Dan?
Than new Rex seems cool. Off to share.
Plus, are you planning on getting that Brachiousaurus?
-
Here is a developing checklist of Mattel's 2019 "Jurassic World" offerings:
http://www.jptoys.com/index.php/2019/02/20/622-2019-s-line-full-checklist
-
I saw that and shared it on the front page. Gonna be a good year for Mattel fans just with that Brachiosaurus.
-
Mattel does catch some flack for the repaints, but not much. The repaints seem to sell just as well, if not better in some cases, as the original releases. I personally like the repaints as it allows me to add some diversity to my shelves without having to repaint them myself.
I plan on getting 2 Brachiosauruses, maybe more if they ever hit clearance :)
-
These are only gonna be $50 right?
-
These are only gonna be $50 right?
That is what they said at NYCC, hopefully they follow through with it.
-
It will sure be interesting to compare its size to the biggest dinosaurs already offered. Sure does seem like its gonna be the biggest produced yet. Wonder if they will ever make a Diplodocus?
-
It will sure be interesting to compare its size to the biggest dinosaurs already offered. Sure does seem like its gonna be the biggest produced yet. Wonder if they will ever make a Diplodocus?
They could probably just swap out the head on the Brachiosaurus to make a Diplodicus, so it would be a simple redeco/retool.
-
I thought the Diplodocus had a really, really long tail?
-
I thought the Diplodocus had a really, really long tail?
That is true, so swap out a new tail as well LOL

Could work.

The next movie hasn't even started filming yet. I believe is has a 2021 release date.

Wow, man that is gonna be a long wait. Looks like Mattel is in on some of the new beasties we are gonna see. I bet they get a good bit of artistic license too.
-
Here is a press image of the upcoming Mattel "Jurassic World" Attack Pack Proceratosaurus.
There is also a rumored Walmart exclusive Battle Damage Spinosaurus coming but there is no image yet.
-
you would think that Spinosaurus would have to be huge.
-
The Mattel "Jurassic World" Mini Action Dinos have been repackaged in the current "Dino Rivals" theme.
I felt all of the bags and it does not appear that there are any new dinos in the first assortment. They may be redeco'd, but I could not ascertain that without buying one.
-
I saw this and posted it.

-
So this might be a hint at a new small movie before we get Fallen Kingdom? Hmm.....
I shared on the front page
-
I think the rumor is that it will be a short film released in front of the upcoming Fast and Furious film, Calvin and Hobbs or whatever it's called. :P
Also, I can't get enough of this line. I have been buying it since day one, and I have already filled up a huge plastic tote with stuff, plus some. Army building (or heard building) pretty much every single dinosaur is so tempting. I have to remind myself that I may never get to display these the way I'd like, so I should purchase them in moderation.
-
I could definitely see a person doing a room expanding Jurassic Diorama. I mean that Brachiosaurus could be the centerpiece in the middle and then expand outward. I imagine some folks are as diehard with this as we are with Star Wars. Perhaps more so because their product seems to just get better and better.
-
One issue I ran into when displaying the dinosaurs was how much room they take up. Before I moved from my apartment, I decided to test out some ideas for how I might display them. Essentially, their tails get in the way and it severely limits how many fit on a shelf. Also, since they are so large, it looks cluttered really quick.
Eventually, if everything works out, I’d like to have two book shelves dedicated to some enclosure dioramas. That way they can all be displayed, and it won’t look like a total mess. I just wish they would give us some park staff figures. That would be super nice!
-
New "Jurassic World" items found at Walmart!
-
Wow, new dinos. Awesome. Saw that and put it on the front page.
I have heard that a lot of folks would like more action figures of people in this line.
-
Wow, new dinos. Awesome. Saw that and put it on the front page.
I have heard that a lot of folks would like more action figures of people in this line.
The human figures don't sell anywhere near what the dinos do so most places have stopped carrying them.
-
Most Walmarts here never stocked the humans in the first place. I think only two of the maybe 12 stores did, and Target.

17 new species next year, pretty cool. Off to share.
-
I am looking forward to seeing the all new sculpts of the upcoming dinosaurs, but most likely, I will stick to my guns of purchasing movie-canon-specific species. I believe they are nearing the end of that list too, with just Segisaurus (listed on the JP map), Corythosaurus, Edmonotosaurus, Apatosaurus, Mamenchisaurus (highly unlikely they'd get to it), and an actual Sinoceratops left to do.
But I cannot wait for the Brachiosaurus. That is very exciting to me, as I have wanted a pair since I was a kid.
And hopefully, Mattel realizes how important humans and vehicles are. It would be a shame to not get a 3.75 scaled Explorer after all these years.

I need to go figure out what time on Sunday!
-
Funny much like GI-JOE 2 a company put the toys out too early and are clearance from stores before the "movie" is put out. I honestly gave up hope and thought it was never coming or just like one of the old kenner sublines that were just filler.
But those 6" I'm eagerly awaiting. Not only for my collection but for customs ::)

I just ordered 6 of them for my herd :)
-
I saw this on Facebook and posted.

I really like the variety of dinosaurs Mattel gives us! Thanks for sharing those links! 8 bucks is an excellent price for those and you did good to order 6 of them!
A friend of mine told me that even the Brachiosaurus is going to be available in the United Kingdom next year...man, the UK gets so much love from the U.S. while the rest of the world does not. Well, I'm happy for all British collectors out there!
-
Just spotted some 2020 "Jurassic World" figures at Target!
-
Cool. Really like this line just wish they did more humans. Especially in multi-packs. Its like only OWEN is available. Like the OG Kenner line I'm sure kids would want them just as much!

Hey cool, I see these for the first time here. Interesting choice of colors and types. I got the first (green) Stegosaurus for 16€ on discount. Now, I wish I had waited for the second beige one. Might just repaint the green one myself.
I’m not into JW collecting. So what do you think about the new selection, Dan? And what does the collector community think?

Personally, there are far too many recolors and not enough new molds. I understand Mattel needing to do recolors to recoup mold costs, but the basic raptor has been recolored almost a dozen times in 3 years.
I really want the Super Colossal Indominus Rex and a few of the new mold dinosaurs. I have not heard much reaction from fandom at large as of yet as these were just revealed last night.

I saw you shared some stuff Dan. Thanks. Its on the front pages.

More 2020 Mattel "Jurassic World" dinosaurs (new molds)!
-
I saw you had shared some new dino news. Off to the front pages.
Which one has you the most excited so far? Gonna be hard to beat that Brachiosaurus from last year.
-
I think Mattel do a great job with this line. Many reviews on YouTube say that they do better than Hasbro did - especially because Mattel do not use visible screws!
On the other hand, their dinosaurs don’t seem to be able to be disassembled, again. I’ve seen some great offers over the last week, but most were pick-up only. The sellers say they don’t have boxes big enough to ship them. Others sell their broken dinos, which broke as they tried to take them apart.
So I thought I ask the guru of all toy lines here in the forum. What is your experience with these?
I still hope I’ll get a loose Brachiosaurus for about 30€...
The seller wants 25€ for this giant, but broken T-Rex:
-
The Spectre would be the guy to ask about the Jurassic Park and World stuff. Trust me he would know!
-
Looks like there will be a second chance to get the formerly SDCC exclusive John Hammond figure thanks to Target!

Sorry, I just now saw your post.
Sadly, I have found that the Mattel line is a one-time-only when it comes to assembly. They are made to be put together once and left that way.
I LOVE the line myself and have just about EVERYTHING save for a few repaints that I didn't bother picking up.
-
I NEED that multipack! It’d be so cool to have John next to the 1/18 scale dinosaurs. Thanks for letting us know about these wonderful news! I’ll buy the set right away. Is it supposed to hit shelves this Fall?
Thank you also for your reply! The assembly is easy, but forever. That’s a disadvantage regarding the size of some dinosaurs. I might buy that broken T-Rex, fix the leg, get it into one position, add some sculpting clay to the joints to then repaint it. :)

I love sharing news about cool new toys coning out :)
This new set is expected late summer/early fall if my info is correct.

Dan, I take it you probably already have this set? Thanks for sharing.

Dan what do you know about this offering. I keep hearing its the SDCC exclusive this year, but I have no clue?

My understanding is that this will be a regular release, but I don't pay too much attention to the 6" lines so I could be mistaken.

I just saw it up for sale at BBTS to so I guess its a regular release.

For the Jurassic Park fans out there...
I didn't even know this one existed, but this was scheduled to be an SDCC Exclusive Dennis Nedry Convention Exclusive (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/MTGVD14R?id=TA-703231945):
"Pre-sale starts Wednesday 6/24/20 at 9AM PT!

Capture an iconic moment in Jurassic Park with this exclusive action figure!
Features movie-true deco, film-accurate accessories, and deluxe detail.
Packaging lights up and speaks authentic Dennis Nedry dialog!
Measuring 3 3/4-inches tall, it captures the spirit of the franchise legacy.
Packaging is based on the Barbasol shaving can seen on-screen!
Mattel / Entertainment Earth Convention Exclusive! "Nedry! Nedry! We’ve got a Nedry figure here!" Based on the original Jurassic Park film, this Jurassic Park Barbasol Dennis Nedry Action Figure - 2020 Convention Exclusive (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/MTGVD14R?id=TA-703231945) is a must-have collectible for fans. In his splashy Hawaiian shirt and shorts, he measures about 3 3/4-inches tall and comes with film-accurate accessories that include the bag of money from Dodgson, a piece of pie, and the Barbasol can of embryos so you can reenact your favorite scenes. The 7 1/2-inch tall packaging is based on the Barbasol Beard Buster shaving can seen in the movie - it lights up and speaks authentic Dennis Nedry dialog! This exclusive figure is available for a limited time only, so grab yours before it goes extinct and you miss out. Colors and decorations may vary. Ages 8 and up.
This cool Nedry figure is hidden in a Barbasol can that holds him and serves as a display case. For extra fun, twist the base of the can package to trigger a dramatic light effect and reveal the figure! Press the top of the can to hear these iconic lines Nedry says in the movie:
"Ah, ah, ah! You didn’t say the magic word!"
"Dodgson! Dodgson! We’ve got Dodgson here!"
"Don’t get cheap on me, Dodgson."
"Ah, no wonder you’re extinct."
"I'm totally unappreciated in my time."
Relive the exciting big-screen action of Jurassic Park with this highly collectible Dennis Nedry figure! The fan-favorite villain and devious programmer is inspired by the scene when Nedry meets Dodgson for the cash-for-embryos deal in the original film. As Nedry enjoys a nice seaside breakfast, Dodgson shows up with a bag of money and the modified Barbasol can to hold the embryos.
We reserve the right to limit quantities ordered."
-
How cool is that?! MATTEL just sold me! It seems MATTEL understood so much what Hasbro used to know a decade ago. WOW! Such a cool idea to give us a 3 3/4" Dennis figure!
Too bad it was supposed to be another exclusive. So without Corona, most collectors would've had to pay premium to all the resellers on ebay etc.
I'm afraid this artificial limitation bs will never end ever again...
-
Its pre sold out already.
-
A new "Jurassic World" boxed set has been revealed! This set is from the upcoming Netflix series "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" and includes exclusive figures of Darius, Bumpy, Stegosaurus and Baryonyx "Limbo" figures!
No word on availability or price as of yet.

I didn't even know we were getting a Netflix Sieres. Hope its good. Thanks for the info.
Off to share it.

New "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" mini action dinos 15 pk spotted at Target!
14 redecos of previous releases and 1 new figure of "Bumpy", the baby Anklyosaur from the upcoming cartoon.
-
Update on the Isla Nublar Escape Set:
TARGET still got it in stock for $29.99. If you look at the prices on ebay, I would be embarassed to claim 30 bucks for John Hammond alone in the bay. I try to order a set and have it sent to an address within the U.S.
I think $29.99 is a very fair price with $7.5 a piece.

Last year's Walmart exclusive "Jurassic World" Battle Damage dinos are showing up at Five Below!
-
Very cool finds Dan! If you don't want to wait for clearancee, TARGET have a SPEND $50 GET $10 OFF JUrassi World toys running! Saw this 20% offer this morning when I wanted to oder two Isla Nublar Sets. I'm glad I waited...
Here's the Brachiosaurus:
https://www.target.com/p/jurassic-world-legacy-collection-brachiosaurus/-/A-76152815
-
I'm so glad that I waited on the Brachiosaurus! Bought my first one for 53€ (~$60) on Amazon. And now the price dropped to the U.S. MRSP of 49.99€ on Amazon Germany. They offer an extra coupon of 1.50€. I just had to get my second one now. How far do you think the price will drop at TARGET? This beauty started selling here for 72.99€ (~$82) or more.
One got to be patient though. It's going to take 1-2 months for delivery. So if I get lucky it will arrive before Christmas. That's well worth the wait for me though. A childhood dream came true.
Again, I could select the option to have the shipping box from Mattel sent in an extra Amazon box before checkout.

Cool, thanks for sharing this Dan.

I found these mini "Jurassic World" dinosaurs tonight at Big Lots. As I already have tons of raptors and rexes, I passed on them. However, I picked up all 7 Indominus Rex figures they had.
They are 5 poa (swivel shoulders, hips and base of tail), but make for a great pack of juvenile Indominus Rexes or alien critters.
-
Very nice. Figures for you to find fantastic deals.
-
The final 2020 wave of "Jurassic World" "Attack Pack" dinos actually made it to brick and mortar retail!
The Dimorphodon redeco was not there, someone must have grabbed it already.
-
Saw this and put it on the front pages.
-
"Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" Apatosaurus coming soon to Target!
-
Talk about one big beasty!
-
A heads'-up to all of my fellow collectors/customizers:
Target is clearancing the "Jurassic World: Amber Collection" 6" scale Velociraptors for $14.99 (originally $29.99).
If I wasn't out of fun money I would have grabbed a few as they are a great size for 1/18 scale lizard steeds.
-
I was just looking at Dennis in 6" the other day. He was 28€ on Amazon here in Germany. Instead, I ordered the Mosasaurus for 38€ because he goes for about 65€ in the bay by now.
$15 for the Amber Velociraptor is a great deal! Thanks for the hint, Dan! But is it really 1/18 scale? I thought the Amber Collection is completely in 6".
I'm most excited for the new reveal by MATTEL for the T-Rex with Explorer and Jimmy figure. Always have dreamed of such a set...MATTEL do everything right: They provide their products as long as there's demand for it.

The Amber Collection are 6" scale but would make great rides for 1/18 figures if you craft saddles and reins for them.
-
Ah, gotcha - now I see what you meant Well, that's a pretty great idea! My brother plays ARK Survival all day long. They got a whole collection of T-Rexs to ride. This game is quite time-consuming and reminds me of EVOLVE from back in the days.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Looks like the new LC Apatosaurus is a SmythsToys exclusive here in Germany:

-
Found these cool "Jurassic World: Micro Collection" figures at Dollar Tree during my wanderings today.
They are actually made by Mattel, so they can be considered part of the official action figure line.
The scaling and details on the 2 theropods (Blue and T-Rex) and the Triceratops work quite well for juveniles. The Dimetrodon (odd choice for inclusion in such a small line as no living Dimetrodon has appeared in the films, the only one in any of the 5 films was a statue in the mansion in "Fallen Kingdom") has a really odd, shortened anatomy making it look like a "Dungeons & Dragons" miniature from the 70's- which is oddly endearing to me.
-
If you live in the UK you can find the new vehicles for JW at SmythsToys!

The Mosasaurus is long sold out here in Germany. And I still cannot believe that MATTEL give you a T-Rex, a figure AND a vehicle for under 40 pounds MRSP! Take this Hasbro.
Happy hunting everyone! The new sets are supposed to hit shelves in June. I'm going to look for the T-Rex set, the Jeep with our favorite Nedry and the Apatosaurus. Happy hunting everyone!
They're also running a LEGO promotion 'til the end of May:
When I started collecting STAR WARS figures back in 2005 you could get a medium size/Class II vehicle for $19.99 without a figure or two Jedi Starfighters with a Jedi figure for $24.99. Hasbro doubled or tripled the price by now while MATTEL still give you a vehicle, a figure PLUS a dinosaur figure for $24.99. What's happening at Hasbro? I wonder how MATTEL can still provide this price point and why Hasbro don't..?
-
There is a 5pk of the mini "Jurassic World" dinos that have been showing up at Dollar Tree recently. This 5pk was found at Ross and contains a fifth mini dino (stegasaurus) that is not in the assortment found at Dollar Tree!
The 5pk retails for (appropriately) $4.99.
-
Dan I don't know how you keep up with all the variations.

Before MATTEL got the license for the JW line I remember how rare & expensive the Hasbro Toys for Jurassic World were on ebay.
Since the JW like launched, people started hoarding these toys so that they never have to work again a couple years later. So today we can find pictures like these of collections to buy right off the shelves for fortunes on ebay:
-
Yeah, I wonder which AF Line is the most profitable? I would assume Star Wars still tops the list, but JW might be there too.
I wonder how much that collection went for?
-
From what I've heard collectors of the Jurassic World line agree that MATTEL has beaten Kenner as far as choice of products (e.g. Brachiosaurus, T-Rex Escape Set) and level of detail and realism of sculpts. I think it's fair to say that Kenner did their best almost 30 years ago, but the price point that MATTEL can provide even today is amazing!
I'm sure MATTEL's JW line is on top of the best selling action figure lines.
Well, I don't think this seller would sell his entire collection unless the buyer won the lottery. Looks like he only wants to show off how much he actually collected to sell a few years later. The items start at 45€/$55 each so I guess he won the lottery now.
-
I heard of a vintage collection that was at auction here near me a few years ago. Just oodles and oodles of momc star wars stuff. I never even heard of the collector nor knew of its existence. I guess if it brought its owner joy then thats great, but wonder if this person was always planning on doing it to sell off.
-
Here in Germany ALDI have a wave of 4 different dinosaurs of the Camp Cretaceous line for a week now. They cost 9.99€ each and people re-sell them on ebay for 15-33€ already! Crazy times.
But I'm happy to see large chains like ALDI order from MATTEL, that helps the line and helps bringing on new products.

Probably not. I miss out on all of the exclusives as I am at work every day.

Do you think buildings for the JW line would sell?
These huts are from SIMBA, a German toy company. And they’re pretty perfect for 1:24 scale dioramas. So I unboxed one of my JADA JW Jeeps and put the Legacy Collection T-Rex next to it. It’s the smallest of the 3 first releases. And I have much joy with this 1/24 scale setup:
-
It would sure make sense to me. Mattel really seems to be doing some neat things.
-
Indeed! I wonder if that's something for MATTEL to consider. I mean kids would have something to destroy with their dinos, right? I love the fact that they finally made both vehicles of the original movie, which Kenner did not. I could also see them make the Gate to Jurassic Park! I'm not a fan of the Jurassic World trilogy, but they made the franchise return and that's such a gift to all fans around the world. Mattel really do a fantastic job on their Jurassic toys!
-

Kenner did make both JP vehicles, but not in the line for the first film. The jeep was in the line for the first film, but the Explorer did not get a toy until the 2nd film's toyline.
I doubt Mattel would commit to a full playset like Kenner did in the old days, but I could certainly see the park gates getting some form of release as they are so iconic to the franchise.
-
Stopped by Target before earlier.
They had the "Jurassic World" Slash 'N Battle Scorpios Rex ($24.99) in stock.
It is significantly larger than the one that comes in the pack with Kenji and the Gyrosphere as shown in the second image.
The larger one's articulation is tied to a pair of action feature buttons. The first button, higher on the spine, controls a slashing attack with both arms as well as a lunge and snap of the head and jaws. A second button, lower towards the tail, controls a side strike from the tail. The only articulation that moves freely is the legs. So if you want superarticulation, go for the smaller one in the pack with Kenji.
Personally, I want both to be different individuals. I have the smaller one already and will get the larger one next paycheck when I have more fun money.
-
"Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" Scorpios Rex Comparison.
The smaller one is from the pack with Kenji and the Gyrosphere. The larger one is the "Slash 'N Battle" version.
Pros:
The smaller one has much better articulation as most of the larger one's articulation is tied to the action features. The smaller one also seems to be more accurate in size to the ones featured in the "Camp Cretaceous" Netflix series. The larger one's jaw is much more flush with the neck than the smaller one's which has a weird gap where it looks like it is not pushed all of the way into the neck, but actually is for the teeth to line up properly.
Cons:
The larger one's articulation being tied to the action buttons. The jaw gap on the smaller one. The smaller one cannot stand on its own without one or both front arms touching the ground.
I actually like having 2 of these in different sizes so they can be different individuals of the same species. There is also a 12" "basic" budget version that should be popping up at discount stores like Dollar General soon so I will be picking up at least 1 to see how it measures up.
-
I finally added "the big ones" to my collection...

-
Thanks for your comment, Dan! I'm not allowed to give anything away, but chances are there that we might see the Brachiosaurus return in tri-color pattern. It would follow the repaint of the Mosasaurus or Stegosaurus for example. Personally, I think it would be a smart move to use the tooling for the Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus, again. And if the second version looks better than the first release, I might repaint one of them myself.
-
I swear I replied to this yesterday!
Oh well let me try again. Nice bunch of large beasties there.
-
You did, don't worry. It was me posting the same picture three times now. But no more, I promise.
-
Figures of Triceratops sell like hot cakes here in Germany. So they're rather hard to find and expensive on the secondary market. However I got a used one for 13€ yesterday and might give it a repaint.
What do you think? Mattel have released several repaints of this "Primal Attack" version and mine is played with and not the nicest design in my opinion.

Nice, Dan. I got this on the front page.

Really looking forward to next year's additions to the line. Hope to see another version of the Brachiosaurus and the second Ford Explorer with Alexis / Lex and a re-release of the Jeep Wrangler is always a win.
So I think it's the perfect occasion for a collection update to end the year:

Thank you so much for sharing this great news, Dan! I think we're off to another great year with Mattel's JW line! Heck, it's even a movie year! I'm eager to finding out more about their new Hammond Collection!
And are we finally getting a 3.75" Lex? More vehicles are always welcome as well...how about some helicopters in 1/18 scale? So many possibilities...sky is the limit.

With how poorly they have been selling, they will get clearanced eventually. In fact, I forsee the entire line going on clearance in the next few weeks as the "Jurassic World: Dominion" line is slated to hit around the 18th of this month.

Spotted the first "Jurassic World: Dominion" items in the wild today at Walmart in Saddlebrook, NJ.

Nice, on the front page.

Cool! I'm still haven't seen most of the Camp Cretaceous figures out here in the Pacific Northwest. I was hoping for a few more of the kids to turn into Padawans. But...I did find the Shringasaurus and was happy about that.
-
Some interesting upcoming Mattel "Jurassic World: Dominion" figures.
The unlabeled one is an Ampelosaurus.
-
I am telling you with the various mutants and regualr dinosaurs out there, their source material for new dinos is unlimited.
-
Cool stuff! Some remind me of Digimon from back in the early 2000's...I like the amount of new vehicles in this year's lineup.
-
Spotted this brand new "Jurassic World: Dominion" "Micro Collection" 5pk at TJMaxx!
There are 3 all new juvenile dinos in this set: Carnotaurus, Indominus Rex and my favorite dino of all time- Ankylosaurus! I saw some concept art for this series yesterday that didn't show these 3 but did show an all new feathered Pyroraptor, which I will buy every single one of that I see when they hit :)
This set retails for $5.99 which is cheaper than buying singles at Dollar Tree now.

This is over 5' long!

Wow, this is getting into USS Flagg territory. Dan, how many of these are you getting?

This is a promotional website for the new "Jurassic World" that follows the "Department Of Prehistoric Wildlife", an agency in the film. It has a world map with different dino encounters on it. Each spot has either a short video (red spot) or a photograph (blue spot) of the dino encounter as well as a description of the encounter. This will be updated regularly leading up to the release of the movie.

Thank you so much for sharing the link to this cool site! I'm also blown away by the Dreadnoughtus! Another perfect 1/18 scale interpretation of the 70% complete skeleton. Mattel handles the brand so well, I think they could sell even more...but they're not in a hurry of course.
-
That is really awesome Dan. I have got to go share this.
My daughter is having fun with this this morning.
-
Upcoming Mattel "Jurassic World: Dominion" playsets!
The boxed image is the "Outpost Chaos Playset" and the loose image is the "Battle Gate Playset", which looks to be a smaller version of the Outpost Chaos set (and probably connects to the larger playset to make a bigger set).
-
Looks pretty nice to me. Thanks for sharing it Dan.
-
Picked up my first Jurassic Park toy ever. Had my eye on the T rex and Explorer Target exclusive. Trying to wait for a sale. Then I found the Hammond collection which for a higher price point, the dinos come with additional articulation. Picked up a raptor. Second wave is supposed to have the T-rex so I will be grabbing that instead of the Explorer set. The truck's cool but really wanted a nice T-rex.
Honestly I think what its come down to is collecting SW just isn't FUN anymore. Its now pretty much having to preorder everything months in advance. Its far more fun to find something in the wild and take it home.
-
Raylen, I agree. The T-Rex escape set is exclusive to SmythsToys here in Germany. They sold it for 49.99€ until I didn't expect them to lower the price anymore. But in January they reduced the price by 5 bucks so I got 2 for 44.99€ each.
I hesitated to buy JW toys until a friend of mine sold his big collection. Now, I decided to sell most of the JW toys I got so far and focus on the Hammond collection, which is an absolute blessing for 3.75" fans replacing the Legacy Collection in an even better way.
The quality and price point for the figures and dinosaurs is great!
-
Doesn't it seem like many things are going that route nowadays?
I mean you can't even go to the new car lots and get one. You have to reserve it now. It drives me nuts. Stores should sell stuff, not preorders for stuff!
-
Everytime I go past the Jurassic park stuff im like, no i can't collect another line. I do want that playset though, I can use the fencing.
I never had luck finding stuff in the wild, even during the potf2 era. It took the longest time to find a vader or stormtroopers. It wasn't until the SOTE Xizor 2 pack I actually got a vader. Then the green cards came out and I got the ROTJ one and the electronic emperor. Trying to play star wars without vader and a few stormies is tough. I had a Vintage jabba and boba fett, so most of my collection centered around them. Preordering is lame but, 9/10 if you order it you'll get it.
-
This has to be the least exciting press photo for the "Jurassic World: Dominion" toy line.
All of the other press photos show the toys in some form of exciting action poses or in conflict. This looks like 3 pals out for a leisurely stroll 😄
-
For anyone that wants it, Amazon has the :Jurassic World: Dominion" Outpost Chaos Playset up to order!
https://amzn.to/3tKwW49
-
Thanks for the word Dan. Time to get this on the front pages.
-
Its out of stock :(
-
Thanks for the alert, Dan! I'm sure it's going to be re-stocked soon and will be available for years to come! I think this is the best time to be a fan of the JP & JW franchise we've ever had!
Haven't seen this set anywhere here in Germany, yet.
-
It says temporarily out of stock so I bet more get added soon.
-
The outpost chaos set is now available for purchase (again?) on Amazon.
-
Looks like Target either over ordered their "Jurassic World" exclusives or they are selling poorly.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex Escape Pack is $24.99 (50% off of the original retail). The Target in Clifton must have had at least 50 sets in 3 spots in the toy department.
The kitchen and the rampage sets are also on sale- $13.99 each. The super colossal Giganotosaurus is also on sale for $30.
-
For anyone that was waiting on them, the "Hammond Collection" Tyrannosaurus Rex is beginning to hit Targets in NE NJ.
I picked this up for a friend after work today from the Target in Clifton.
The retail is $49.99+tax ($53.30 total in this area).
Happy hunting!
-
Dan, you didn't want one of these? Looks awesome.
-
Dan, you didn't want one of these? Looks awesome.
I have so many Rexes already I doubt I will ever buy another. This one is tempting though.
-
I can imagine you have a few.
Does Mattel do as many repacks as Hasbro with these? New pose and new box and pass it off a store exclusive?
-

Mattel at least repaints their dinos instead of just repacking them in most cases. There has been the odd straight repack though, but rarely more than once a year or so.
The Hammond Rex is a brand new mold though, head to tail. Just like all of the Hammond Collection figures.
-
When you find the stores when this hits clearance perhaps a buy?
I would love to just come with you a day on your store runs. You find the best deals of anyone I have seen.

Thanks for the info, on the front page.

Dan, you don't pick up the dinos with action features correct?
Thanks for the info, on the front page.
Only if the action feature impacts the sculpt. Especially if they have huge, obvious activation buttons/switches.

New Mattel "Jurassic World: Dominion" "Micro Collection" figurines coming soon to Dollar Tree!
I am going to buy EVERY Pyroraptor I see :)

Saw this at Target today.

Little beasties. Off to share on the front page.

Sadly, not my photo, but the ENORMOUS (5' long!) "Jurassic World: Dominion" Dreadnoutus has finally landed in the United States after being available in Europe for a few months!
This was found in Target in Washington state!
Time to start hunting for this giant dinosaur!
-
Sadly, not my photo, but the ENORMOUS (5' long!) "Jurassic World: Dominion" Dreadnoutus has finally landed in the United States after being available in Europe for a few months!
Hey, that's awesome news! I haven't seen this gentle giant anywhere here in Germany or the Netherlands, yet. Not even online across Europe.
But I'll keep my eyes open to let you know. This one is definitely too large to be added to my collection.
-
Now that is one huge beasty.

The 2022 Mattel "Jurassic World" "Micro Collection" singles have finally hit Dollar Trees on the east coast!
3 new dinos (Ankylosaurus, Carnotaurus and Indominus Rex) join 3 repacks (Velociraptor Blue, T Rex and Stegosaurus) in this assortment. These new dinos debuted earlier in the year as part of a boxed 5pk but are now available as singles. 4 new dinos are coming in the next assortment which should hopefully hit around the Holidays.
-
Got this and your other news on the front page.
Thanks for the word Dan.

Thanks for the heads-up! I wasn't aware that this ultimate giant has been available in the UK already!

The Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Dominion" Epic Battle Pack is hitting brick and mortar retail! This was spotted in Fairfield, NJ!
-
Nice. Off to share on the front page.
-
The final "Extreme Damage" Walmart "Jurassic World: Dominion" exclusives have hit brick and mortar.
Too bad they have those horrid open slashes as the first 2 pictured are species exclusive to this assortment. I would have bought them if they had the older damage feature where a small portion of their skin slid down to reveal the insides but left the exterior more or less intact :(
-
Yeah, kinda sad seeing good sculpts messed up like this.
-
"Jurassic World: Dominion" Masie is a decent enough figure that is appropriately petite when scaled against an adult figure in the same 3.75" scale. Her articulation is more or less standard for humans in this line- ball joint head (movement is limited due to her long hair in front of her chest and down her back), ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge hips (for lateral movement), ball hinge knees, but she lacks elbow and waist joints like all of the young girl figures in the various "Jurassic" movie based lines due to her thin physique (the cartoon based teen girls have these joints as they have thicker builds). Her outfit is replicated quite well from the early portion of the movie, but for my sci-fi based needs she is a bit to "earthlike", although her outfit does somewhat resemble those worn by the "proto-Rebels" in "Andor" so I may end up keeping her for a diorama. The 2 examples I got both have an odd paint defect in which her brown right eyebrow slightly extends into her blond hair, but otherwise both have excellent paint applications. She comes with a really nicely sculpted satchel and a small, but very thick knife (I forgot to add her accessories during the photo shoot).
The Beta (Velociraptor Blue's baby/clone) is exactly the same as the one from the wave 1 Owen/Beta set so I will not bother reviewing it here.
The real star of the set, for me anyway, is the Lystrosaurus. This canine-like dinosaur only really has one brief scene in "Dominion" (and it has nothing to do with Masie making its inclusion in this set baffling- unless there is some kind of deleted scene with them together) and it is the only representation of this species in the line so far aside from a teeny tiny rubber one in the "Mini Action" blind boxes. I focus on all of the unique species in the line as I do not need any more velociraptors, triceratops, T-Rexes, or any other "main" species since I have a ton of them from various manufacturers over the last 40 years already, so this was a must have for me. The Lystrosaurus has a ball hinge neck and 4 swivel hips, basic articulation that kind of limits its poseability- some lateral motion in the hips would have been nice and maybe an articulated jaw at least. The paint is very well done with no slop or overbleed anywhere on my 2 examples. The figure does suffer a bit from the ugly pull out DNA tab, but it is only visible on the left side of the figure leaving one side unmarred. Some of the species with armored scales hide these tabs really well, but the ones with smoother hides are not able to camouflage them as easily.
Apparently, Mattel cut production on this set way short compared to the other 2 sets in this assortment ("cowboy" Owen w/Parasauralophus and Ian Malcolm w/Velociraptor and 3 mutant locusts) so whatever made it out into the wild in the first shipment is all that were made, making this a very difficult set to get. Many online toy stores have had their pre-orders canceled by Mattel and had to refund their customers. I got very lucky when Amazon had them up a few weeks ago.

Nice review.

Burlington has the Walmart exclusive "Jurassic World: Dominion" "Extreme Damage" set, which is still in Walmart stores for $24.99 for only $11.99!

Very nice. Off to share on the front page.
-
More super cheap "Jurassic World" items are hitting Burlington!
The "Hammond Collection" Bartonyx is only $7.99 (originally $19.99-$21.99 at Target).
This was spotted in Garfield, NJ and the store had 4 of them.

Wow, great savings.

For my fellow diorama builders:
These stickers are at Five Below and have replicas of several of the various park signs from "Jurassic World".

2023 Mattel "Jurassic World: Dino Trackers" spotted early at Target in Riverdale, NJ!
-
The second wave of "Jurassic World: Dominion" "Micro Collection" figures has been found in the wild at Dollar Tree in Clifton, NJ!
There were only a scant few left on the pegs (no Therizinosaurus sadly), but I snagged 3 Pyroraptors (want 21 more), 3 Atrociraptors (want 3 more) and 1 Giganotosaurus (want 5 more) :)

Looks like you are still finding the goods even in this frigid weather.

All these above are some crazy cool finds and awesome deals! I think the thing I'm most thankful for in MATTEL's JW line is the variety of 3.75" human figures. I just wish they made the Hammond Collection available here in Germany and the rest of Europe.
There's quite a few stuff on sale at Smyths Toys here at the moment. Some sets are even cheaper than at TARGET currently:

Target exclusive "Jurassic Park: '93 Classic" (30th anniversary) line from Mattel!

Mattel will be crowdfunding a MASSIVE "Jurassic Park" playset!
The price is expected to be $250!

Looks like the info on this drops tomorrow. Let's hope it's not a bunch of dinosaurs, characters and accessories that we already have just bundled together with the gate.

If this is international, count me in!

It's live! Even in Europe for the same price.

Another notable clearance from Walmart.
This Walmart exclusive "Jurassic World" Copter Combat Pack originally retailed for $37.99, and is now on clearance for $15 (your store price may vary as Walmarts hit different clearance levels at different times).
I know a few people that have been waiting for a price drop on this set as they wanted the helicopter for their military action figures.

Mattel has announced their SDCC "Jurassic Park" item!

pretty cool if you ask me
-
I need to do some gardening. But before I do, I thought I'd take out my Apatosaurus for some pictures.
A couple days ago I learned that the horsetail that grows plentiful in our backyard must've been on dinosaurs menu already! Some people and even athletes use it for healing and adding to their diet nowadays. It's called Acker-Schachtelhalm in German and Equisetum arvense in Latin.
It must not be mistaken with the swamp kind (Equisetum palustre), which is toxic to our organism.

My brachiosaurs received so much attention lately, that I thought it's time to give some love to this gentle giant, too! MATTEL's dinosaurs only become bigger. I might sell one of my brachiosaurs and get the Hammond Collection one.
By the way it looks like their crowd-funding project is going to go the Rancor's path:
-
Pictures are great! We have the swamp horsetail here - no eating that! I'm not surprised about the Jurassic Park campaign, not enough "new" to get people really excited. They needed a unique dinosaur and some different characters and some additional "gear" and it might have taken off.
-
Looks like the right flora for that beasty.
I was hoping to see more of these types of dinos in 65 mya, but I liked it good enough.
-
For anyone that was wanting one, the "Jurassic Park: 30th Anniversary" "Hammond Collection" Brachiosaurus is hitting Target now for $85.99!
-
This new Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" set is out as well, but there was no shelf tag and the price scanners were down so I was not able to get a price, sorry.
-
Very nice find, Dan! I found it at TARGET online and it's listed for $53.99.
This set was listed at SmythsToys about 2 weeks ago. I'm going to one of their stores today and take some pictures of their latest arrivals:

New vehicle coming to the "Jurassic World" line in 2024!
-
This morning, while grocery shopping, I grabbed Walmart's annual toy book.
It was full of the usual stuff like store exclusives and the larger and more expensive pieces from each line.
One thing in particular stood out to me:
On the page with the "Jurassic World" items (2nd image), there is a 2024 item pictured that has not been released as of yet (3rd image). Maybe this means that Walmart will be getting it for the holidays in advance of its general release next year?
-
Dan I am not sure many people know as much about the various lines and when they release as you. Great scoop.
Off to share on the front page.

More early 2024 "Jurassic World: Epic Evolution" figures found in the wild. This time at Target.

Off to share some of it.

MATTEL Creations
No new topic needed because I'll never buy there, again!
Why do I pay a premium for shipping? Thought it shipped from the Netherlands, but it actually came from New York. So 10€ for shipping don't feel as bad anymore.

Yeah, kinda felt the same way after getting the Throne Room Set. You pay all that extra money and they send it in an overtight box with thin carboard. Sorry man.
-
There is an unannounced variation on the Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" Velociraptor Containment set!
The raptor cage is available in either a metallic dark gunmetal color (left) or a flat, light gray color (right)!
The 3 sets I got late last year were all gunmetal and the 5 I got today are 3 gunmetal and 2 gray.
-
Very cool stuff! Thanks for the headsup, Dan!
-
2024 "Jurassic World: Epic Evolution" releases ALREADY on clearance at Target!
-
Damn...did demand shrink so much?
-
There appears to be a running change with the 2024 "Jurassic World: Epic Evolution" Triceratops- the original gray version seem to be being phased out for a new mint green version. They both have the same UPC.
-
This upcoming "Jurassic World: Epic Evolution" Bajadasaurus looks really cool! This will be in the $24.99 "Gigantic Tracker" assortment.
-
That's a very scary looking dinosaur.
-
Couldn't you see A T Rex with the plates of an ankylosaurus and a stegosaurus tail and may as well put a triceratops horns on his head too. Freaky. I like it.
-
The first look at Mattel's upcoming "Jurassic World: Epic Evolution" Super Colossal Allosaurus!

Wow, that is one tough looking beasty. Off to share.
Only humanity in their stupidity would create something like this. Man, this dino is a world killer.

Wow, that is one tough looking beasty. Off to share.
Only humanity in their stupidity would create something like this. Man, this dino is a world killer.
This isn't scaled to the 3.75" line, this is part of the Super Colossal line. None of the dinos in this line are even to scale with each other, they are just giant sized for kids to play with, like those 36" Batman/Superman and Star Wars figures that pop up everytime there is a new movie released.
I use them with my 3.75" stuff to be Kaiju sized monsters though.

Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Legacy Collection" Diplodocus coming later this year!

The lone Target exclusive "Jurassic Park: '93 Classic" offering is now out!

The new "Jurassic World: Chaos Theory" toys are hitting Target!
I saw these in Clifton, NJ.
The dinos all have unique new decos, and the human figures are less cartoony looking than the previous series' ones.

MATTEL currently offer up to 50% off some of their items on MATTEL CREATIONS.
Their SUMMER SALE goes from June 10-16. I received an email notification last night.
Side note, you can take advantage of those offers WITHOUT a premium membership for 50 bucks a year cough cough at Hasbro!
Another positive fact I want to highlight is: They put the exact same 9 Jurassic World items on sale for the U.S. and Europe.

New "Jurassic World" items spotted at Target!
The Super Colossal Allosaurus JUST came out today! Regular retail is $79.99, but it rang up at $48.99 CLEARANCE, same as the Super Colossal Indoraptor that actually is on clearance!
The Hammond Collection Giganotosaurs was $49.99.
The Hammond Collection Therizinosaurus was $39.99.
And The Chaos Theory Becklespinax was $34.99.
Both of the Hammond Collection dinosaurs are nice, but too expensive so I will wait for either a sale or clearance. The Becklespinax has those terrible action feature wheels on its back, so I will never buy one.
-
Another new "Jurassic World" item, this time at Walmart.
This is from the $23.99 assortment but was not in the system. This one has the action feature wheels, but they are better hidden along the top of the torso, I may end up getting this one at some point.
-
Mattel's San Diego Comic Con exclusive "Jurassic World" Jimmy Buffett commemorative action figure!
-
The new Target exclusive "Jurassic Park '93" Off Road Tracker Set's dino tracker's armor is an homage to the Kenner "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" Roland Tembo figure's armor, and I think that is pretty cool.
-
Mattel just revealed another "Jurassic World" large action feature dinosaur ($23.99 assortment) that I ABSOLUTELY need!
Behold, the Styxosaurus!
-
Upcoming Target exclusive "Jurassic Park '93" set.
I forsee a lot of "G.I.Joe", "Final Faction" and "The Corps!" collectors/customizers wanting that chopper...
I will adopt any unwanted Raptors from this set 🤣
-
One of the Target exclusive "Jurassic World: Chaos Theory" sets is on clearance already!
The "Darius Adventure Pack" is now $17.49 (50% of the original $34.99 retail price).
Personally, I am waiting until it hits 70% or 75% off as I only really want the Carnotaurus and Darius. The Stygymoloch is ok, but just as redeco of the previous releases (of which I already have a few) and the Dimorphodon (previously my favorite modern "Jurassic" action figure) has a horrendous hatch on its back that opens to reveal the QR to scan for the phone app (these hatches have made me pass on several releases from this series in the last 2 or 3 years 🙁).

The first leaked images for Mattel's 2025 "Jurassic World" offerings.
Kind of disappointing, seems like more of the same, more or less. Here's hoping that there are some really wild designs waiting to be revealed as we get closer to 2025.

With smilodons appearing in the last season of "Camp Cretaceous", I was so hoping that the Mattel line would begin incorporating prehistoric mammals as well, but it never happened 😞
I would also love stuff like terror birds and coelocanths.
-
Yeah...that's too bad. Smilodon, Megatherium, Andrewsarchus, Woolly Rhino, and Moropus would be high on my list along with the Titanis (Terror bird). Well, one can hope...

2024 Mattel "Jurassic World: Chaos Theory" toys at Burlington!
They only had these 2, but they are $14.99 while they are still at Walmart and Target for $23.99.
-
Mattel has released a new color varaint for the Mapusaurus.
Honestly, I wasn't really paying much attention to them as I was more interested in the Bajadasaurus, so I am not sure if I have seen the variant in stores or not. The one I picked up today at Burlington is the first variant with the darker undersides.

At least the variant on the Bajadasaurus uses different paint masks so the markings are unique aside from the identical ones on the tail.

Couldn't resist when I found this a couple days ago. The Hammond Collection Brachiosaurus retails here for 125-130€. It is currently available for half the price from an online seller who is known for amazing deals. I ordered them on Thursday night and they arrived on the second day with FREE SHIPPING.
