This thread will cover unauthorized knock-offs of 3.75" scale lines that are often found at discount stores worldwide.

Lots of cool knock-off Chap Mei, Schleich and Safari Ltd. items found at National Wholesale Liquidators!
The quality on the figures is terrible, but the dinosaurs and vehicles are pretty good despite some sloppy paint apps. For the prices, they are great buys but you will want to repaint them before adding them to your displays.

Not my best photos, but I saw these "Dino Hunting Vehicle" sets at Big Lots tonight for $20 each.
The dinos are cheap unarticulated, hollow vinyl, but the figures and vehicles are pretty decent quality.

Cool deal, I do agree the vehicles and figures seem worth a look.

Burlington is starting to set up their Christmas toy section.
I saw this $24.99 "Dinosaur Hunting Play Set" that some customizers might be interested in for the helicopter. It is a completely different mold than the Chap Mei one that TRU repackaged in their "Animal Planet" and "True Heroes" lines.
Sadly, the dinosaurs and figures are junk, but the copter could be useful.

I found these great, inexpensive dragons at Big Lots!
There are 4 different bodies but 8 different heads to make 8 different dragons.
$10 per 4pk.
-
Here are pics of the individual dragons grouped by body type:

Scale pic of a random dragon with a 3.75" figure.
-
Pretty cheap at 10 bucks for four.
-
New Chap Mei knock-offs at Burlington. The orange truck is actually a pretty desired vehicle so having a cheap alternative is great for people that want the vehicle in multiples for customs.
Sadly, the dinosaurs are static vinyl.
-
Your updates are on the front page. Might be nice for folks who just want the truck.

New Chap Mei knock-offs are popping up at Burlington!
The big set has some nice electric fence pieces in it.
The smaller set contains a Kentrosaurus, one of the harder Chap Mei dinosaurs to find over the years.
-
You are finding the goods again Dan.
Off to share on the front pages.
-
Chap Mei knock-offs spotted at a discounter called "D II" (D2) in Passaic. They are a mix of Chap Mei figures, accessories and vehicles with a small amount of non-Chap Mei items.
The figures are crap as per usual with these knock-offs, but the majority of the vehicles and accessories appear to be of decent enough quality. There is the odd oversized motorcycle and undersized jeep in some sets that would not accommodate the included figures. The dinosaurs appear to be scaled down knock-off of Schleich dinos from years past.
The "Adventure Team"-ish yellow copter should be of interest to "G.I.Joe" fans.
These sets retail for $10.99 for anyone interested.
-
Continued from above.
-
Looking for these on our FB Page to post on em.
Nice stuff.
-
Saw these Chap Mei knock-offs at Marshall's.
They are very high quality, on par with the original releases.
-
Got this and the electronic dino on the front page.
-
Another high quality Chap Mei knock-off and a set of static dragons spotted at Marshall's.
The dragons are smaller, less detailed versions of the ones I found at Five Below a few weeks back.
-
Nice Dan. On the front page.
-
Chap Mei knock-off set at discounter Forman Mills.
The figure and dinosaurs are pretty bad, but the copter and checkpoint are useful for customizers.
-
On the front page.
-
More Chap Mei knock-offs at Dollar General.
The figures are junk, but the vehicles are decent and having the weapon trees in silver instead of the usual black is a nice change
-
Nice, I got this on the front page too.
-
Saw this bootleg Chap Mei set at the Burlington they just opened a fee blocks from my home.
This is a bootleg of a previously high demand vehicle that appeared in several series over the years. This is the first time I recall seeing it bootlegged, especially since it hasn't been offered by Chap Mei in well over a decade.
It was $7.99.
-
Nice Dan, have to get this on the front pages.
-
Lots of knock-off Chap Mei at Macy's.

Chap Mei knock-offs at Macy's.
This year they doubled in price, the large sets were $39.99 last year and are $79.99 this year! 😳

Wow, almost double. Being a collector is getting to be an expensive hobby.
-
Later Chap Mei knock-offs found at $.99 Dreams.
2 of these molds did not get US releases before TRU went under so it was amazing to finally see them in person!
At $8.99, they are a bit more expensive than I care for, but I had to grab the 2 I have never seen before (Dilophosaurus and Ceratosaurus).
-
"Animal Planet"/Chap Mei knock-offs at Burlington!
There were 4 different sets at the Burlington I was at, but there may be 2 more based on the dinosaurs shown on the back of the box (image in next post.). These look to be pretty high quality knock-offs and 3 of the 4 sets had harder to find playset pieces in them, including the highly sought after wooden trap!
These sets are $24.99 + tax each.
-
Image on back of all 4 boxes is the same.
-
Nice info. Off to share it.
