I picked up some of the new Jazwares "Fortnite" Loot Battle Boxes.

I know that a few people were interested in seeing them from all sides and in scale with a 4" figure so I took some pics.

The logo will have to be dremelled off/covered up before they can be of any real use in dioramas, but that is an easy fix.

Articulation is very close to Boss Fight Studio articulation. The vinyl is a bit more flexible that BFS or Hasbro, but not too soft and rubbery. The only real downside is that the humans' heads are a bit cartoony and their proportions a re a bit "chunky" for regular people, the armored/space suited figures are perfect though.

According to 118Archive on Facebook, 2 figures previously only available in $40 multipacks have been single carded in the latest wave released.

Hopefully this leads to other, expensive to acquire figures being rereleased this way.

Nice stuff! I keep watching out more and more for other lines in order to find useful parts & accessories, too. My little brother sent me to buy him a Fortnite shirt yesterday because one receives a code for a bonus item in game. It's a special axe, but codes sold out immediately. I was a week late. Too bad he just told me about it on Sunday.

To sum it all up: The hype is real with Fortnite!

Yeah, the armored ones and the spacesuited ones are the only ones I am buying from this line as they are easiest to customize into characters for my Spectreverse. The regular "human" ones are too bulky for anything other than bodybuilders when compared to standard "Star Wars" scaled figures.

I picked up Joltara and Grave Feather and The Paradigm today at Target. The reader didn't read the price, so I got them for the old price of $9.99, but I think the "failure to register" means that a price increase is imminent. That's been my experience in the past. BTW - the Grave Feather is an excellent droid skeleton.

This upcoming "Fortnite" set could be useful for anyone wanting to make martial arts type characters, they would just need non-goofy heads.

I"ll have to see this set in person. It might work, but I think would require some sanding and maybe sculpting to get rid of the nonsensical "kit" the figures have molded on in addition to new heads. We'll see.

As far as I am aware, this "Fortnite" pinata never hit brick and mortar stores in the US.

Amazon currently has it on sale pretty cheap for anyone that still needs one!

This Walmart exclusive "Fortnite" Squad Mode pack is currently hitting stores!

They are all redecos of a previous Target Party Pack set except for Peeley Bone, who is an all new sculpt.

This set retails for about $45 and was spotted in Saddlebrook, NJ.

Recently, in one of the toy pages on Facebook, the topic of the building pieces from the Jazwares "Fortnite" line came up.

Here is my current stash of full sheets (6x4 tiles):

"Special" (clear blue)- 5
"Brick"- 27
"Wood"- 24
"Metal"- 26

They are a mix of peg and non peg versions as well as the "spray" (graffiti) versions.

In the second pic, you can see the extra, incomplete sheets of the various styles, which include the final release "grass" style. I also have another 18-20 "metal" ones that are being used as stands for some of my "World Of Halo" figures with tiny feet or large weapons which prevent them from standing unassisted.

This milk crate is HEAVY!

I eventually plan on using them, inverted, to make various sized cargo crates for dioramas. If you take 6 tiles, you can make a perfect enclosed square cube. Using math, you can figure out how many tiles are needed for different sized or shaped (square or rectangles) crates you can make.
