Title: TVC NEWS DISCUSSION - Fathers's Day EVENT 06/09/2021 on YouTube
Post by: Darth More on July 25, 2019, 05:05:30 AM
At the end of the 2017 I started a similar topic in a different thread (Legacy and Vintage Line).

http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10358.0

There we threw in our ideas for possible releases of The Vintage Collection. Here I'd like to bring new life to this thread. After the lack of new stuff presented at SDCC 2019 this topic couldn't be more actual. (I learned that Hasbro were not allowed to announce much new stuff at SDCC.)

So here's why Hasbro could make good money with products of a decade ago:

And here's another proof that there is still HIGH DEMAND for Comic Packs today! People are actually whilling to pay this money:

So what are your observations and suggestions for repacks/re-releases for our beloved The Vintage Collection? Let us know in the comments down below!

Good topic gonna have to take this to the front page.

Frankly I would love to see one vintage three or four pack ever year. Ideally I would like to see one with each vintage basic figure wave, but know that might get to be a bit much.

Right now, with the 40th anniversary of TESB getting ready I would love to see them put some of their modern releases on vintage cardbacks ( I mean AT-AT Driver for sure!). Couldn't you see an Echo Base 4 pack in a vintage box in both a Rebel and Imperial Version. Folks sure wouldn't mind a huge Bounty Hunter Pack in a vintage box too. Remember the good ole days when Hasbro literally would box up 7 or more figures and create something awesome (like the Death Star Briefing Set). So many ideas.

We could also use some vintage boxed vehicles (I believe it was you who wanted to see a vintage boxed AT-ST). Wouldn't it be cool to see a new version of mini-rigs too in vintage boxes. I could easily see them releasing the bigger AT-AT again in the TESB vintage deco box (easily one of my favorite things I have in my own collection). I would also love to see a new Rebel Troop Transport unveiled for TESB, but now I am really dreaming big. Daggone that would be cool though.

You are making me think of good questions I should have asked Hasbro last week, but think they had to put a gag on most of the newer stuff as far as info. I know folks also want to see the Hoth Turrets again. I still enjoy perusing my Target Exclusive Hoth Turret Set I got years ago.

Frankly, if Hasbro were smart they would put everything in a vintage box or theme, especially any new line they were unsure about selling or introducing. We would buy it just for the box or card (well some of us would).

So after the review of VC151 Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) by Bossk'sBounty we can now decode most of the codenames on this list:

I actually like the design of the Knight of Ren. Also the Power Ranger kind of character and the white Rey are quite nice designs. I will use all three figures for three of my own characters from The Knights of the Old Republic / Expanded Universe. I wonder if I can make this Rey to an Atris custom...

But what do you think about the rest? I'm very excited for this Jawa and wonder which one Hasbro picked. Another repack? Let's hope they designed a nice card.

And what about this "E6 Pricess Leia (Ceremony)? I rather think it's TBS Leia (Yavin Ceremony) with updated face print...but a Leia from the Ewok Ceremony on Endor would be much more awesome!

Your thoughts?

My 2cents.... Release the last ones needed (from the OG Kenner) and KILL IT. move on to other areas of 3 3/4 release. No packages... Unless exclusive. Figures from pulse can be ordered in replica Kenner baggies (huge cost cutter) and the brick and mortar releases are clear bubbles only: Detailed like SW environments, Sticker with SW logo (only) and character name. Every figure has a paper tray with BIO (one paragraph) and black and white photo/checklist of "years" figures, reverse side: Anything from character photo or suitable background (AOTC/SAGA/OTC style).

Key here is this... The bubbles like I said are environments (like doorways, tables, creates, etc 5000) the scanable icon (next to product barcode) takes you to a Hasbro site or app that gives you step by step dummy proof instructions on how to cut/alter and paint the bubbles into an actual diorama piece.

Thanks for nothing Hasbro. I pray you steal my suggestion and actually Do Something forward thinking and economical.  ::) 0// bbfet lvva

Went up for auction and sold tonight: Imperial Shuttle Tydirium...another no-brainer and money on the table.

Did I hear HasLab, Hasbro? Take my money!
Title: Re: Your ideas for future TVC releases: How will packaging look like?
Post by: Darth More on November 19, 2019, 03:30:07 AM
How will packaging look in the future and will we ever get a shiny C-3PO, again?

About a month ago YakFace.com shared a rumor about a possible new C-3PO for The Vintage Collection:

https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2019/10/18/rumor-report-new-tvc-c-3po-coming-soon/

Will it finally be the shiny version of our favorite Protocol Droid we've been waiting for since 2010? Hasbro said in several interviews that they don't use this dying/painting technique anymore because it is bad for the environment. This is actually a very positive appeal!
But other companies and even toy brands still offer toys using this chrome technique and even include solid metal parts for STILL less than $1!!!

Most recently Hasbro have released their interpretation to celebrate 40 years of STAR WARS SAGA.
These controversially discussed figures come with a golden paint that's at least shiny unlike the TVC C-3PO from 2010...So there are alternatives. JTA just shared a review of the first of those packs:

https://www.jeditemplearchives.com/content/modules.php?name=JReviews&rop=showcontent&id=3832

No more plastic packaging for our plastic figures?!

Hasbro also annouced that they will no longer use plasitc blisters for future packaging designs. That would also mean no more blisters for our action figures. Personally, I cannot imagine the iconic Vintage Card without a blister bubble on it.
But what are the alternatives?
Will we only get our Star Wars figures like this, then?

Yeah I heard they're making a TVC 3po, but guess what, it's a TBS repack. I'm not really fond of that figure, because of the removable plating. Outside of TPM his plating is never removed. We'll even in TPM it wasn't removed, he just didn't have it to begin with. I like the newer Forcelink 3PO, sure he doesn't have Arty, but 3po doesn't move all that much. I do like the new gold paint for 6" and Forcelink better than vacplate. The only time 3po is shiny is at the end of the movies, the rest of the time he's dingy at best.

As for the packaging rumor, I think it's only for power rangers at this point.

If this is certain already I'm not surprised that Hasbro give us yet another repack...you're exactly right on the plating. I think Hasbro just wanted to give us more value with C-3PO. I think it's a nice feature for Aphra's 0-0-0, if the panel on the back would at least stay where it's supposed to be.

I also really like the latest versions of both! I also join the people who suggested to put the clean R2 on the VC149 card. Both sculpts are excellent! Your thoughts on the metal painting are also very deep. Thanks for sharing your inside knowledge.

Recently a dutch discount chain had two waves of TLJ action figures for 1,99€ each! They suddenly sold like hot cakes. Many people jumped on that train and try to sell those for about 8€ each in ebay now...

One ad made me aware of these Japanese versions of the Movie Heroes line from back in 2013!
It seems they tested "blind bags" in Japan already. No plastic it seems. Or maybe the blister was just inside the box? Probably.

Yeah, sorry for my late reply on your excellent comment! I really like the idea of the bubbles being environment parts!

Talking about stealing ideas: I think Hasbro seriously stole my idea back in 2007...I was working on a "Star Wars Battle Game" for the 3.75" figures. I was inspired by Warhammer.
Well, in 2010 I think it was, they released the game with cards and dice. The figures are not even involved in this game! I conacted Hasbro by email back in 2007 and they responded! They referred me to White Castle Games in Austria, which also belongs to the Hasbro Group.
I only mentioned my idea and the name "Battle Game". They required 1,000€ to test the rules and another 1,000€ for a possible patent. Couldn't afford this as a student in 7th grade.

Today we have Battle Game cards with too many dice we don't need and LEGIONS.
Now, there's that.

If HasLow continues to run on "Sparflamme" (just ticking over) and treat the 3.75" line like $hit, I will agree with you. It's time for the license to end. The Black Series on the other hand gets the fullest attetnion and premium treatment. And Hasbro claim it's the PREMIUM line for their Star Wars brand.
Well, in stores and on ebay most people are NOT willing to pay even half of the price for the 6 inch figures! They are sold for LESS than Vintage Collection figures! And this drives me mad!  >:(

Wow sooo much RIGHT in your post.

That's crazy they took your idea... It's obvious.... I got a day/tour of HQ once in high school and these fools seemed to be creatively bankrupt... They had me sit in on a meeting were they were trying to market foam board posters etc. with a slot that separate  "clips" purchased could play a song (say Britney Spears) when loaded into a poster. They all looked at me and asked "WHAT DO YOU THINK!!!! Do you Like it!!! Would you buy it!?!?!" I just felt soo bad I just shook my head and just kept thinking: at least your getting to see the OG Clone Wars line before anyone knows it exists and seeing all the other unknown SW stuff hanging around.

That game idea of yours was really nice. I just never had anyone to play it with 😢

The whole TVC thing is a damn joke. Everything you said is 100% on point. $5 is how much a figure SHOULD cost ... The retainer Will add w/e they want anyway. These people have to learn to make a product again. They bought KENNER whom had it down... Even the 80'-90's GI-JOE line was perfect. These people are just fools in my mind and everytime in my life friends and family have commented "u should work for them" I just still laugh. You know they don't even have an Art Degree in toy design? So the hires are all from various design or fashion degrees so its just terrible melting pot of whomever did what. 😵

I used to be the biggest advocate for vac plating, especially the Bandai 3po, but I always ended up having to add a matter finish anyway. The thing about vac plating is they need a very hard plastic to use it, like styrene. The plastic Hasbro uses I think is too soft, but they just made up the whole environment saving, captain Planet BS.

YakFace.com identifies more yet unknown & unannounced TVC figures. I think this is wonderful news if they're true. And I wonder why Hasbro want to safe single announcements for the rest of the year when they know they leave 3.75" fans frustrated and disapointed after their resounding joke at Toy Fair...

https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2020/02/23/rumor-report-tvc-mystery-figures/

Here're the characters that are supposed to join the TVC line-up:

Power Droid (ANH)
Airborne Trooper (ROTS)
Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise)
K-2SO (Rogue One)
Hondo Ohnaka (Galaxy’s Edge)
Clone Trooper Fives (TCW)
Chirrut Imwe (Rogue One)
Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight)

Yeah lots of great figures/products coming this year. I'll definitely be getting most of those... An that's coming from someone whom skips TVC   >:D overall. Hasbro is going to be getting my money this year quite a bit. (The Ghostbusters toys alone pulled me in). I know people complain about too little product but I'm always behind, even if by choice... With every release they put out. But these new "MYSTERY" are what fans have been asking for. Same happening with TBS right now with ESB/ROTJ and PT.

Title: Re: TVC NEWS DISCUSSION - FAN FRIDAY EVENT 11/13/2020v on YouTube
Post by: Darth More on November 14, 2020, 03:33:10 AM
Mos-Eisley-Customz: Fingers crossed! At Comic Con here in Germany back in December Erik told me that young fans of back then (a decade ago) are now adult fans. And they (Hasbro) would be more aware of videogames and EU (Legends) characters now.

At the end of their Fan Friday event on YouTube yesterday, Patrick addressed the issue on two upcoming TVC releases:

- Captain Rex (Phase II armor): He thanked the fans for CONSTRUCTIVE feedback and said that all units of the TBS Phase II Rex shipped already. So Hasbro cannot change anything on this controversial repack anymore. BUT he promised this will be the last time we'll see this version of Rex. He confirmed that they'll work on new versions with removable helmet.

Comment: Still such a missed chance...easy skip for me, but so frustrating for completists. Can't stop shaking my head and still no word on the Phase I Captain Rex that was supposed to come in TLC II. The current brand team at Hasbro for STAR WARS scores with more and more negative points.

- ROTJ Boba Fett: Good news! Hasbro sent out a "few thousand" units of him already. BUT this Boba will see a running change with a yellow background/namepill and a more zoomed out image (like all the good fan made ones).

Comment: So this will be two one more variation to hunt down for completists. Must be fun to collect evidence of their incompetence. But I'm honestly happy they decided to make a running change and fix the issues. TVC fans deserve better than this.

- Zutton: The only new announcement for TVC was another repack! But a good one if you asked me! Back in 2015 I paid $17.99 for Snaggletooth at tunghori already! So for newer collectors this is a welcome chance to get it plus it's one more of the orginal 96!

Here's my custom repaint of blue Snaggletooth (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10186.msg218047#msg218047), which I also shared on Instagram right away.

Well heavy Black Series again, but man they look fantastic.

We are getting the Bad Batch! Man they look good and the accessories!

Assaj looks good too.

Looks like we get a TVC Snaggletooth. That one will sell well.

I agree, it is nice to see them take some fan criticism and actually make some changes. Man, that first cardback will go up in value if you get one. Glad they are zooming it out.

I don't even watch these live streams anymore, I'll find out exactly what I need to know ten seconds after. I'm pretty sure the snaggletooth is in the same wave as Boba fett, greef karga and baby Yoda  So which one do they reveal? The repack. It's not that they aren't making cool figures, they just aren't showing them.  Boba Fett pre-order came out of nowhere, with no hype or fanfare, but they make a big deal about repacks. I don't think I'm missing out.

The pill colors to me are such a non issue for me. I don't even get the outrage. Of all the things.

It was a good set of reveals. Even the tvc repack was a good one. Maybe they're getting it. Really the fan's choice repack candidates were not the best. I'm glad they decided on  the echo base trooper beforehand. Everything else is mandalorian themed, but they're good figures. I'm glad they gave the mythrol guy accessories, accessories seemed like they were getting fewer and farther between. I like they are opting for swappable heads as opposed to removable helmets. Some helmets are almost like soft goods, they're so flimsy and distorted. So I'm happy with everything. Pipeline bib fortuna in both scales. Had they made a 6" bib when jabba came out I probably would have stayed with tbs. Too late now, for me. We needed bib and lobot in tvc. Keep knocking out those og 96's.

I agree JDeck. I was really happy about VC68 - Echo Base Rebel. I've been waiting years to get this figure because I never found it in the wild. I hope this is a sign of things improving for the 1:18 scale, though I'm still a little jaded. Let's be honest, twice the reveals from TBS? And Jaxxon in 6 inch before 3.75." I wanted him as a figure back in the 80's when 6" wasn't an option. Or what about that very Kenner looking Greedo, again shouldn't have come out in 6" first (I wouldn't mind at all if they had released the two scales simultaneously), but it does feel a bit like an insult to those of us who started with the collection oh so many years ago. The cynic aside, I was really happy with the TVC reveals and "pipeline", just hope a Blurrg is around the corner.

Yeah, I too was pretty happy with the new TVC Wave. I ordered em all yesterday. We can only hope a few other important characters are on the way for the Mandalorian (like Boba and his gal pal). I figured it would be a black series show and it was.

It was interesting to hear them hint that the next Star Wars HasLab would be in the Black Series Line. I am gonna guess Blue Leader X-Wing as this point or X-Wing in general since we already got a TIE in that scale. I would love for it to be a Walker, but no way would they do that in that scale I would think. Who knows, its fun forcasting though.

Yeah yesterday I ordered one each from Amazon like I always do, but then I found out Bib and Lobot were going to be included in the wave, so I ordered a full case from EE. The case includes 2x Bo Katan and Quiil, so ill end up with 3 each for customs or whatever. I don't know why they can't just reveal the whole wave. In this case they did sort of, but why is everything so secretive?  That lando IG-11 wave is coming around the corner, and no mention of them. That'll be a great wave too. Emperor, teebo, lando and IG-11.

Evidently Vagas is Lobot and Reno is Bib.

I have a question though. I preordered a bunch of stuff using my "fun" credit card, and last week I lost it at some random bar I've never been to, so I cancelled it and ordered a new one. I was able to change the payment method to another card with Amazon, but not EE or BBTS. I contacted hasbro pulse to see if it will effect the RazorCrest preorder with no reply. Has anyone encountered this problem?

1x Hoth Rebel Soldier (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/hse7763k?id=TA-703231945)"

As you can see there are two other vintage figures we didn't see with the IAYFD Hasbro Reveals, but you can assume they are gonna be awesome!

I too ordered the case as why not have the other two vintage figures too! I agree it was kind of silly not to show the figures for the full wave. I bet the etailers hate it!

Well bbts I used PayPal so i just changed the preferred card. I can't for the life of me remember what I used for the crest. I dont have a pulse account so I can't access it.  I hope it was PayPal that would be great. EE doesn't allow PayPal unless buying in stock items. So i have to call them to get my Gaming Greats wave. Preordering sucks sometimes.

I dont normally buy full cases because usually they're packed with sucky repacks. I heard from a very reliable source (Yakfaceforums.com) bib and lobot were also in the wave. They're right 99% of the time. Also Patrick said they would be coming late this year early next year, which is the same time frame. I could be wrong though. We shall seeeee.  But hasbro is just making everything confusing with their codenames and releasing half a wave at a time. Not releasing waves in chronological order. It's dumb. Just  take my money.

I'm also super happy with the Father's Day reveals for both TVC and TBS! I'm glad you could secure your pre-orders in time.

Here are my thoughts:

The Vintage Collection

Kuiil: Demanded since his appearance in the first season. Love the headsculpt & choice of colors for his costume! The shown figure looks awesome!

Bo-Katan: Color scheme looks great, paint apps on her helmet look superb and I really hope her chest armor will have this metal look on the final product. So glad they decided to make a helmet and a head piece separately instead of a flimsy helmet to put on her head. Amazing reveal!

Mythrol: I don't know how you feel, but I think Hasbro knocked this one off the park! I'm so impressed by the headsculpt and especially the color of his skin! Paint apps and facial expression look beyond real to me and I think they absolutely nailed the color scheme for his costume. If the final units will look like this, Mytrol will become one of my all-time favorite 3.75" figures period. Besides all the negative reactions during the live stream, I think every alien is a win in my book and I also like his character in the series. This was the happiest surprise for me.

Hoth Rebel Soldier: Fans have requested this one for a long time and he is the best choice for a repack I can think of now - at least for the Battle on Hoth. Do you think we'll see TBS #23 Toryn Farr (http://rebelscum.com/23-Toryn-Farr-The-Black-Series-Hasbro.asp) return on a Vintage card? I think she wasn't the strongest seller, but she'd look even nicer with photoreal deco.

Oh by the way, with all the Hoth Rebel Soldiers re-released I wonder when we finally get an Imperial Snowtrooper on Vintage card...

Bib Fortuna & Lobot: I thought I wouldn't witness this "pipeline reveal" before I bite the dust! I hope they don't mess them up. I had to laugh really loud when I read comments on JTA that Lobot wasn't the most popular and loved character, but JTA was also one if not the loudest fanbase crying for Lobot! Gotta love these double-standards. To me Lobot is an iconic appearance in STAR WARS. He was one of the first characters I was introduced to the franchise with and he defines a galaxy far, far away for me as well. Still got my OTC version of him from 2004 and am very happy with the design and accessories. Yet, he seems a little small so the update is very welcome.

Nevarro Cantina Playset: It's been a while since I watched Mando Season 1 so I thought the Cantina was the one where Mando encounters the Sheriff on Tatooine. But when I realized that Nevarro is the base for all the Bounty Hunters, I was even happier. This will look great (and rather small) next to the Razor Crest. At least I guess, I have no idea how big this is gonna be. Makes me wonder if we'll ever see Dexter's Diner (probably not, but you can still check out this diorama here).
Of course this is Disney property while everybody else asks for the Mos Eisley Cantina. I'm sure this is a test. Or maybe it will be the next HasLab. Anyhow I think Hasbro will learn a lot from the Nevarro Playset to make a possible Mos Eisley Cantina even better! Great reveal!

The Black Series

Archive Wave: To me this is the best composition of figures to return to The Black Series. BUT the new P4 packaging was kind of a complete reset for Hasbro, which makes the Archive Line sort of obsolete. Don't get me wrong, I love this sub-line! But I suppose Hasbro will release an all-new ROTS Obi-Wan figure for their P4 line-up down the line. I know many people are not happy with Obi-Wan as one of the 4, but I think he deserved the update. The first release in P2 packaging looked...nothing like Ewan McGregor.
Darth Revan with more vibrant lightsabers is a win in my book! The P3 version goes for 80-90€ here by now. I'll definitel get this one.
Princess Leia looked great during the livestream. Hope the final product looks as good, too!
I only got the very first one with the awful grumpy face (got her for $11.88 from viperskingdom on ebay). So I'm happy about her and my favorite choice for the Wave has to be the 501st Legion Clone Trooper. Well done Hasbro!

Yet, I have two complaints here: How can it be that The Black Series gets Darth Revan three times, even a Jedi version of him while The Vintage Collection still waits for any news on him?! Same with Princess Leia: she was released and updated several times, even appeared on a vintage card as part of the 40th Anniversary - and TVC fans are still let down. I hope it's just a matter of months now 'til she's finally announced ESPECIALLY with the Tantive IV corridor playset being a huge success at the moment...

Rogue One: Now the design for the P4 Rogue One line looks great! Really like the turquoise. Bodhi Rook looks amazing! Galen Erso not so much, but still a win in my book. Let's see how the final headsculpt will look. Hasbro would probably say only the re-issues of the crew made new characters possible. If this wasnt a fan channel exclusive wave, Jyn and Cassian would very likely end up as pegwarmers again. So smart move here and ALL pre-orders are already SOLD OUT on Star Action Figures! BOOM! What a success and they all deserved the photoreal treatment. K-2SO is a beloved character and he should be part of the P4 line, but I'd preferred to see Krennic updated with photoreal before K-2.

The pipeline reveals for TBS were fantastic!

HasLab: I hoped that The Black Series got the next HasLab because the first two were dedicated to TVC. So much deserved here, but it won't be a vehicle so my guess is: Jabba's Rancor because he'd be a risky project to perform at retail. Heck, I'm sure some dogs would be afraid of a 1/12 scale Rancor and apparently some parents wouldn't want to have a 3 foot tall brown beast in their living room or their child's room. So that's my bet.

This has been the first 3.75" vintage case I have bought in awhile (probably years). I like it that much. I agree even the repacked Echo Bas Trooper is a great idea. Of course the Mandalorian Figures are a no brainer. I sure hope from here on out we have a few new vintage Mandalorian characters with each new vintage wave. I think that would be smart on Hasbro's part.

For the six inch figures I really liked the RO Rebel Pilot. For some of the figures I thought why, but hey I don't have to buy them. I agree that 501st CT is a good choice. I so agree with you on your Revan point too. Why we can't get him rereleased in the 3.75" line is confounding! Of course there are a few of these 3.75" figures I would love to see rereleased. I remember many of the TAC Collection Figures I would love to see on a vintage card. Oh well, no use to get started on that.

As for speculation on the HasLab Project for the Black Series I don't know why I am thinking X-Wing, but I am but they did say it wouldn't be a vehicle. Doesn't that tell them vehicles are sorely lacking in this scale? I sure wouldn't be upset if it were a Rancor either though. I am hoping that they go really crazy with this one and pick something that would never ever otherwise make it to regular retail. Like an Imperial Walker please! I know its not gonna be a vehicle. Maybe we could call it a playset. How about this. Do the Endor Imperial Platform! Then we could have hope that a Walker and a Tyderium would come down the pike?

And JDeck I hope you get your stuff sorted. It does make it a pain to make sure your payment details are correct. I am getting ready to make some banking changes due to better interest rates on my accounts and am gonna have to go through this too to make sure all my stuff gets here (especially my Crest!).

I might just wait to close some of those accounts until after I get that one. I need to remember when that bad boy is supposed to ship.

Omg don't get me started on my experience yesterday at BOA trying to refinance. That bank has to be run by the biggest morons on the planet and I wish I was exaggerating. That's why I prefer small local credit unions.

Yeah tbs does make the best pilots in my opinion. They just look great. Xwing luke was my first 6er, one of the best, even being as old as it is, because most older 6rs have been changed several times over.

BOA is terrible. $12 a month for "maintenance" fees + $35 every overdraft. Add to that they don't even cash my checks (under $300) instantly the past year. Its like the only reason to use them is the availability of ATMs but what's the point? That's why this month I just my account it run into ground. Done doing business with them after being a customer since 2004!
The Merrill lynch / trust department is even worse and "worked" with a relative to take like $110k from a trust inherited!!! Then lied to me about it.
Terrible.

Anyways.... The new figures look great. I'll definitely be getting the RO reissues since, minus the K2SO since he's just not "new enough". The paint apps look better so I'm in since I love RO! Just too bad about more target exclusives.... Sooooooooo sick of that BS. Its difficult getting almost any new figures so why add to the craziness ? TVC stuff is all must haves too just hate that its more, an more and more etc. To collect!  Its like it never ends, which is why I love/hate taking breaks from collecting.

Yeah when I see Target Exclusive I just resign myself to not getting whatever it is.

Man, you guys have some bad banks. Do you guys have KISASA where you live? I have found Credit Unions do a bit better for you or seem to where I live.

I got an email from haspulse and they said my card was already charged, so I guess they don't charge on ship date like everyone else.  So I just have to call ee, maybe they did the same.

Yeah boa is a bunch of crooks too. I had an account with them when I was young and living paycheck to paycheck, and they kept putting holds on my paychecks and charging me overdrafts. Ever since switching to union I've had not one single fee or problem. I got swindled into getting a loan with boa, and I'm just going to pay it off asap, and never go there again. I should have gotten my loan through hfcu my last loan with them was 1%, but they're process sucks I had to provide 10 years of tax returns as proof of income, because im self employed.

EE does a pretty good job of showing you the current status of your orders too. I have found their customer service to be better than Hasbro.

So TWO YEARS have already past since this Father's Day event. Meanwhile the Mythrol and Kuill are on clearance everywhere, which feels like a shame to me because they're brilliant figures.
And looking back at the moc-ups and pictures of Hasbro's paint masters' prototypes, I think I'll have to redo the Mythrol figure.
When you read my comment from June 12, 2021, you might relate to my excitement. The texture of the Mythrol's skin looks so vivid on their slides, that I considered the Mythrol the most accurate figure for The Mandalorian TV show. But when the figure eventually hit shelves, some details were different:

- the skin turned out to be painted in a metallic turquoise instead of aquatic blue
- his lips were hardly painted while the final product has lips in mat flesh tone
- the golden paint apps appear dull, not shiny
- the pink/flesh tone was more opaque, almost like chalk on the paint master
- the tool lost some detail during the production process
- also the handcuffs didn't have the injection point on top of the middle, yet

So I guess this will be my next custom figure. I'll try to fix the skin with a blue wash.

Don't get me wrong, please. I think the Mythrol still looks great, but not as fantastic as it looked (to me) on the promo shots. I was debunked.

And to Hasbro's defense I think Bo Katan's head turned out much better on the final product than the moc up for the event:

Yep, its a lot like getting the vac vetal treatment on 3PO, they just can't seem to get it right.
