RC, you really do pay attention to Details like a Commando! Trailer is looking excellent except for some weird hair. Won't bother me as long as they don't say, it flies now! Let's hope they don't mess it up. And as much as I love Maul as a character and brilliant villain, I still think he's way too strong for having been cut in half. I wish we had seen him beyond TPM and more of his action even in a prequel to the prequel would be welcome, but there's no way he could've survived that slice by Kenobi.
But what do I know?! - even Sidious is canon in Episode IX, now. They fly now! Cheers!
Guess recycling villains is a common thing that just belongs to STAR WARS...
-
Nice, time to go share this.

THIS SHOW IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!

Did the first Episode air today?
-
I need to go watch. I am assuming Disney Plus.

Did the first Episode air today?
We are already on episode 2! Airs every Friday at 0430 in the U.S. on Disney+

You would be correct.
-
Disney plus isn’t like Netflix in that they don’t release all the season at once, correct?

Negative. New releases are done on a weekly basis.

Bad Batch Clone Force 99 Breakdown:
-
Well I finally got caught up Friday night. I have to say I am really enjoying it. Here are just a few of my takeaways so far:
1. They are sticking to the Clones and battle against the Separtists and away from all the crazy politics and bickering in the Senate (did not like those episodes).
2. The Bad Batch is just awesome. It is like dirty dozen meets Star Wars except there are only four of them. I too noticed the Republic Commando stuff on some of their gear and loved that too.
3. Once again we see the major Jedi here and there, but they aren't the main focus the Clones are. I so hope they keep that up. To add to that we are seeing the great Sep baddies like Admiral Trench and Wat Tambor. Gotta wonder when Trench will see action figure life (he would be so awesome in AF Form).
4. It is fantastic seeing the major vehicles and ships again. The major ones are the LAAT and ATTE. I gotta wonder if we are gonna see some re-releases of these. Cmon Hasbro! I also liked the ARC-170s And Republic Dropship (remember getting those on clearance from amazon for nothing back in the day). For the bad guys I really liked the episode with the Octupurra Droids (not sure I spelled that right) and seeing the Sep MTTs were awesome too. Gotta get some Hellfire Droids and their gunships too.
5. the Echo Arc is cool. So hoping they can repatriate him and get him back into the fight. I am so so glad they got him out alive. I thought for sure once I saw him all hooked up he was a goner when they got him sorted out. I hope he can turn the tables with the intel and get back to looking like an ARC Trooper. You gotta wonder what type of Cyborg they could make out of him. I envision cool stuff for him.
So, this is now my second favorite thing about Star Wars since the Postquels came out (well Rogue One was good) and this and the Mandalorian (I hope) should put some balance back to the action figure force (make some 3.75" stuff)!
-
Thanks for the update, Tamer! I’m glad you found a couple hours to catch up. I watched parts and bits of the new (old) episodes as part of reaction videos on YouTube so far. Graphics and plot are excellent.
Man, you just gave me an idea. Imagine the TCW AT-TE repainted with premium paint apps like the Imperial Combat Assault Tank or the new Slave I make a return in The Vintage Collection! It would look brilliant in TVC packaging - even without lights & sounds. I’m a little shocked that I never thought of the AT-TE make a return to TVC. Maybe because I’m planning to repaint it myself and because there are SO many other vehicles to become part of our beloved Nostalgia Collection...
-
Well you had me at a new ATTE, but man painting it up all Imperial like and putting it in vintage packaging would really excite all of us!
-
Yeah, never thought about an imperial version. Hasbro could give us options by including a sticker sheet with both emblems. But I think it’s quite unlikely to see it as part of the Imperial army unless Disney makes it cannon and shows us some GAR vehicles post Order 66.
I like how you call them the “postquels” xD
-
I would take any new version of an ATTE in a vintage box. Period. Set. Match.
And yes, I am trying to not legitimize them most so my term postquels (which I know isn't a word).
-
Haha, seriously you can call them whatever you want - I don’t mind. I’m still trying to just forget about their sole existence.
I got a couple AT-TEs for 25€ each, which I’m going to customize. Maybe I’ll make one imperial...this reminds me of how much I want to finish my Purge Trooper. Really need to print out those decals. Size is all done for months now. Just need to go to the copy shop. Can’t wait to come back to the hobby in April. I’m just glad when this exam is finally over. Just had a quick lunch. Time flies. Oh well, back to the desk, again!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
-
So glad you guys are enjoying season 7! I've been stoked all the way through. I'm just sad TCW will never have the cultural significance that The Mandalorian has. Because it certainly deserves it...
-
I really hope we see how Rex removed his chip along with Wolffe and Gregor
Not too hopeful on seeing Gregor getting an explanation but Rex and Wolffe atleast!
The finale is going to be so sad but so good :'(
I also wish the bad batch was just Delta squad instead. I get why they made a new squad instead but still wished there was more Delta Squad screentime!

Episode 9 of s7
IS
SO
GOOD! DH
The classic fanfare!
All the Variation Mandalorians and clones!
The storyboarding of all the action sequences!
The reunion between ahsoka and anakin was so well done and so sad at the same time knowing the plot of episode 3!
You can also tell they spent a lot of time improving the textures of the characters as well!
SPEACHLESS! SIEGE OF MANDALORE! BRAIN OVERLOAD! AND THREE MORE EPISODES!
()rr GO WATCH IT NOW! ()rr

The Ahsoka arc with the twins was lackluster. Siege of Mandalore is legit.

No, that is actually Gar Saxon and Rook Kast. Sabine's mom is Ursa Wren who also appeared in the episode, but she's fighting on Bo Katan's side.
-
Thank You. I need to get myself straight with all this. I need to go see which one Sabine's mom is.
-
Rook Kast...any relationship to Jodo Kast??? Hmmmm.

Gar Saxon becomes the Imperial regent during Rebels for Mandalore. He wears the empire-looking Mandalorian armor and speaks with a posh accent. I don't think Rook shows up in Rebels to my knowledge.

Nice, maybe between everyone here I can keep all of them straight.
I don't care though, bring on more and more Mandos! So looking foward to tomorrow's episode.
Wonder how ole Maul deals with a better Ahsoka and if Obi will get in on the act. On Ani.
And more Clones!
-
I couldn't wait to watch the new episode and man was it great. Very dark. Very dark. It is so nice to see some of the timeline around ROTS resolved too.
How many episodes are left? I know it isn't many. I gotta know how Rex resisted Order 66.
-
Yeah I liked this episode a lot too. These last two episodes were some of the best episodes in the whole series and with so many cool characters. Like how awesome does Gar Saxon's armor look.
I'm loving the dark tone and the references to the events in the ROTS as well. It really makes it that much more interesting cause you know what's about to come.
There are sadly only 2 more episodes after this. I would really be surprised if they didn't show that, but I do hope they will also show why only Wolffe and Gregor were the ones to remove their chips as well.
-
It was cool. I just don't understand how or why Obi Wan would know someone was pulling the strings on both sides of the Clone Wars. Wouldn't he realize how pointless all of it is if it's predetermined? Or wonder who was pulling the strings? Seemed odd. But I guess that late in the war it had become more obvious?
-

Well, my bud Dooku told him about Sidious on Geonosis in AOTC, but unfortunately Master Kenobi didn't believe him...if I remember correctly.

Dooku told him the republic was being ruled by the Sith. I would think if he did believe him Palps would be suspect number one. But I don't think the Jedi realized what was going on until after order 66, of course a majority were dead. This episode takes place after Palatine was rescued, but before Kenobi goes to utipou.
-
I keep wondering if we will see Grievous too. And perhaps a scene with Ahsoka and Anakin about his buddy Palpatine. I could even see them going a bit after ROTS and have a scene with Anakin and Ahsoka after he kills all the younglings. Its gonna be good I think.
-
Dryden Nox was in this past episode (in a hologram form). He was the Villian from Solo.
This episode had amazing choreography in the fight scenes. I almost feel that they were so-capped and not fully animated.
It's also interesting that Maul was the hidden link to Palpatine the Jedi were never able to capture and interrogate.
-
Oh man the ending of season 7 was good. That was very emotional.
-
Yeah the last episode was truly amazing, but the ending was definitely a tearjerker

Ripped my guts out. Considering the events of Umbara.
-
Most of me was upset seeing how sad it ended (which I knew it would) and that that was it. Definitely was the way it was supposed to go though. I need to go watch it again though to see what I missed, especially there at the end when the Imperial Army showed up with Vader.

This was posted as one of the panels for Celebration.
I didn't know this was even in production or an idea at the rodent house.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Siege of Mandalore Screening.
