After seeing Hasbro’s Captain Fordo, wondering how everyone feels about the helmet should be painted? Been meaning to make my own for a while but not sure which direction to go. Do you all think the red should cover the whole front plate or be similar to the phase i officer patterns to be more realistic?
Cant really tell if it was meant to be a stylized version of the real paint pattern or intentionally covers the whole front face plate like Hasbros done.

Personally I like the one with more red on it.
Man, that squad pic looks great.

I concur with Tamer. My guess is the animated rendering is stylized, but I think it adds some individuality to Fordo and would stick with it if it was me.

Yeah I'll have to agree, the bold red looks great. Either way you can't go wrong.

Thanks guys. Im liking the thicker paint as well. ()rr

I got a question: Are the Troopers in the last picture you provided yours?
Because if they are I would actually go with the thin paint-apps if you got the thick/movie-accurate version already.
There are some bootlegs sold on AliExpress which I shared here (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10896.msg224613#msg224613).
Centurions Corner made a red ARC Trooper custom as well. That might be helpful for your project. Here are the links to his YouTube Channel embedded:
