Hi guys I'm new here, and I just began collecting and customizing. so here is my first custom action fig I ever made:
Commander Blood is the commander of the 633 legion and he likes big guns ;) ()rr
-
The picture resizing turned out great. Nice figure, and welcome to the 'Yards!

thx to all your help dan
-
cool custom
-
Pretty good for a first attempt, Looks like he would do well with Sev from Delta squad with the blood smears.
Welcome to the Shipyards.
-
Nice custom there, Bly! I also like big guns.

captain treize of the 41st elite legion serves under general luminara unduli and commander gree. (treize is french for 13)
Distinguished by the roman numeral 13 on his chest plate treize's clone nuber is CT-131313
also he counts how many battles he has lived through by the ticks on his helmet. (the first one from geonosis at the begining of the clone wars)
-
this is my upgraded version of commander deviss.
I just made the red lines darker and put a red stripe on the microbinoculars
-
Well done! I like how you incorporated some French in the name.
-
I like the idea of blood on armor cause it shows his close quarters kill rate :o
-
I like the idea of blood on armor cause it shows his close quarters kill rate :o
really? I never thought of that
-
I like the clone with the 13 on his chest. Your Devis upgrade turned out cool also.
-
Looks good to me, front page bound.
-
nice wrk i like blood n 13
-
Well done! I like how you incorporated some French in the name.
yeah well I wanted to have the name be related to the number 13 somehow and so I setled on a french word
-
I like the idea of blood on armor cause it shows his close quarters kill rate :o
i didn't know Droids could Bleed ....;)
-
Maybe he was fighting locals allied with the Seps. Is that what you were designing, Bly?
-
Maybe he was fighting locals allied with the Seps. Is that what you were designing, Bly?
kind of :-\... he actualy was assighned to a sep world that was using mercs alot.... I forgot to say that did'nt I ;D (please note I'm almost 13 years old and I don't have the best memory.).... well anyway I just thought it would be cool to make a clone that had blood all over him
-
ok I am starting a series of troopers starting with the 501st then the 41st, 212 and so on and so forth...
so here is ct-62988 or "raider" of the 501st. he was the only surviver of a raid on an enemy base. he killed al of the remaining droids and got as much sep data before blowin' the mudhole. He does'nt talk to much.
I used a wal mart 501st trooper for him. as the last picture shows I painted over all of the light blue lines to make him a dark blue like captain rex and clone trooper denal. this fig is probably the messyest fig I have done (or ever will do) cuz I made quite a few smudges on him. the ironic thing is that after I finished painting him I thought: It's ok... after he is finished drying I'll clean him up. (later) WTF?!?!?!? I"M OUT OF PAINT THINNER?!?!?!?!?
-
nice clone trooper from the 501st. One of
my favorite legions
-
The 501 lives on!!!!! ()rr

-
new one looks good. On the front page.
-
cool!
-
awesome medic
-
thx very much.... all of you.
-
New guy here is Chatterbox of the 501st. He talks alot(hence the nickname) and always sees the bright side of things. He doesn't care much about how his armor looks so long as people know him on sight(and no the idea did not come froma smudge). As you can see he has an old sculpt helmet, I had to use that because I didn't have any new sculp helm blank clones(do they even have those???). He was very fun and quick to make so I'll just show you the pics!
-
Next up is ARF trooper "Kliks" from the 867th "Drakon battalion". He is a bit of a goof ball but is very serious at times. Just a basic ARF figure for him, and as you can see the color scheme for the 867th is silver and blue. The commander of the 867th will be up as soon as I get another echo figure. Now for the pics.
-
I like the claw mark on the chest
-
I like the claw mark on the chest
Really? Maybe I could use it as the "symbol" of the drakon battalion...
-
great customs!
-
the ARF looks really good bly
great job
-

Many thanks Fiala.
-
Cool ARF Bly!
-
cool!
-
once again, Thanks to all of you!
-
Alrighty.... Here is a medic from the 867th. He is the best medic of the 867th and most troops just call him "Doctor". Don't have much of a backstory on him soooooo..... I used an Echo fig for him. Clipped of the thingys that held on the microbinoculars, which will be used in another custom.(duhduhdummmm)
-
And now my failed attemt at a caduceus on his shoulder! Also please check out and join my new website: http://thelairofbly272.webs.com/
-
Great custom Bly!
-
really nice custom man!
-
Alrighty..... I have just started tiny pic (thanks for the idea MR1!!!). sooooo tell me if it goes wrong. Here is "Hack" of the 867th if you have read my Fan fic you'll know he is a hacker. I used a normal old sculpt blank clone(you can see that via the helmet). Also I thank Koty (MR1) for helping me with getting the pictures all up at the same time

Alright another custom. Here is commander Dark of the 13th snipers, demolitions, stealth and heavy artilery legion. He is a very serious guy no joking or nonsense. He commands the snipers division of the 13th and will gladly show any droid how his blaster works.... ;) I used an echo figure for him. and for his rang finder like thing I just cut in half echo's microbinoculars. So on to the pictures:

New custom time!!!!!!!!!!! Here we are with a new trooper from the 13th, Shabiir(He screws up alot). He is from the stealth division, as you can see his armor is all black(save the parts that are white because i couldn't get to them...). He is good friends with Dark, and has a very good sense of humor. He has a real sweet tooth and will eat anything with alot of sugar in it.

cool customs!!
-
WIP Kota. So far I've given him the blue 'saber he has on bespin, I've taken off his right shoulder plate, and made his "cape" things look really messed up. I still need 2 shades of gray paint, and to cut off his hair bun thingy...

His cape....
and finally a comparison of the really massed up cape and a normal one.
-
that looks realy good. I love the weathered cape! I've done that with a few boba capes...
after looking at your fig here I think this would be an excellent figure to transfer over to joe parts. The chest armor is removable correct?
by keeping the head, capes, arms, and armor pieces you could transfer all of them over to a joe body and have a super articulated kota pretty easilly....

Ooh now there's an idea.... Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what joe figure to use. Plus, all the stores near me don't sell joes anymore.
