Suprises me we don't have this here yet, but I will start an amazon thread. There are sometimes deals to be found there. I actually found a mcquarrie Fett mini-bust there for thirty bucks momc about a month ago. It also seems to me that Amazon.com is starting to set up store fronts probably to rival ebay and who knows, with ebay's higher store fees now perhaps Amazon is gonna cut in on that demand.

It looks to me like most of the items are the toy lightsabers and clone or stormy blasters, but if you are buying a gift for a young one or doing some great customizing like I have seen with other things this is some incentive. It looks like the Register receipt must be dated 1/25/2010 through 3/20/2010 and postmarked by 4/03/2010.

They usually have Malgus, and a few others at that price. Picked up a Gam Guard, Fordo, Oddball, Shae, and Malgus. Although I never ordered 2 or more at a time, which was unfortunate. Each figure came in a bubble mailer and crushed. Seems that 2+ is the magic number for your order to be shipped in a box.

I have just fired my brother for some odd  reason he found shae vizla on amazon for 13.50 each a few days ago and didnt tell me...I'm now taking applications for older brother

Guys I found some code today where we can put all the products in one link called a widget. Its on the front page if you scroll down to the lower left column. I will try to keep it updated with the latest products. They have a ton of different amazon windows for it, but they aren't necassarily easy to use and don't save right. Oh well, hope it helps some of you out as I know I spent enough hours trying to get it semi working today.

If you are like me you are gonna want to save some gas and just order most through amazon. I have my fingers crossed they will be ready to ship well, but have always had prompt refunds if I did have to return anything. They are pretty easy to use.

I have heard that the Vader is the short-packed one among the case assortments of these and hence the reason for the slightly higher price. And speaking of higher price these packs have gone up in price all afternoon. Better get yours if you want em before they go even higher.

Well I have been messing around on Amazon this week and been trying to find a way to organize all the new widgets into one place. I found a way to do it. I am gonna try to keep all of this up to date so you can find all the amazon goodies on one page. The only thing I don't like it is only shows nine products per page, but there is an easy table of contents on the upper left to go to the categories you might want.

It was one of the good  boxes ones . I have read reports of quite a few of these that have been reported to be missing parts. This could qualify as an epic fail.
I went for the return and exchange policy. New one should arrive by the 30th.

Wow, I have done business with amazon for years and never heard of anything like this. I would think if you provided them proof of your purchase (like a debit from your account) they would honor it. Did you get an email once you placed your order?

Wow, I have done business with amazon for years and never heard of anything like this. I would think if you provided them proof of your purchase (like a debit from your account) they would honor it. Did you get an email once you placed your order?

I did receive an email but like all read emails I delete them,  I logged into my account an where it showed that it was paid for it was gone like it never happened, an so I contacted amazon an they basically said without proof there was nothing they could do, I think it was a glitch that they don't want to admit to

online ordering rule #1 never delete a confirmation email until you KNOW everything is there and in perfect shape when you get it in hand

I would try getting a screenshot of your debit/bank transaction and use that as proof.....

If nothing else you could do a snipe of your online checking or cc account and erase out any too personal of info and send that to me. Bet that would work. lol true, that's my fault on that part, I thought about that but I get e-statements to save on paper an I deleted that email as well

I answered spooky's comment  ;) , I've never had a problem with them either, but later I found out that they did shut down their system for a short period of time to fix something so I'm guessing that's when something happened but then again I really don't know

If you deleted it somehow from amazon I am guessing you would need go to your bank history. Just do a print screen or use your snipping too.

If you deleted it somehow from amazon I am guessing you would need go to your bank history. Just do a print screen or use your snipping too.

called today, amazon told me to render it as goods not received an afterwards I called my bank and I will be receiving a full refund, so I got my cash back an will never use amazon again

Well GH18 ifs its any consolation yours is the first story I have ever heard like this regarding amazon. I pretty much use them exclusively for new books and now that they are getting SW Exclusives I will probably use em more. Hands down you can't beat their prices with free shipping on orders over $25 dollars either. I am sorry you had such a horrible experience.

  Amazon has a few preorder rogue one items. 6" TBS Jyn, 3.75" U-wing, and the 1/1 stormtrooper voice changer. I really want that helmet, that looks really cool, just to display. I just can't see paying $80 for it right now. I really need to see it in person, but the promo pics are really nice.

yeah, the sad thing is everyone is gonna probably wait on any expensive SW Vehicle now and just get it on clearance. If they were not already doing that.

I have a feeling it is gonna doom the vintage (more expensive) vehicle line and we are just gonna get the el cheapo vehicles with the flimsy plastic from now on. Hope I am wrong.

That's exactly the point. On the other hand there has to be a way for Hasbro to give us new vehicles for under $70-80. I remember finding Medium sized vehicles (Class II) for $19.99 until 2011. And even the Class III MTT was on sale because it didn't sell...you're exactly right here.
And I know inflation does its part, too.
My point just is that Star Wars merch has become way too expensive. The Imperial Combar Assault Tank is sold for 107€ / $121.98 here on Amazon.de - if you pre-ordered it, you could get it for 90€ from some other etailers.
And if you look at the current prices on Amazon.com how can they justify that some TBS 6 inch figures are sold cheaper than TVC 3.75" figures?! It's time that Hasbro does some favor for 3.75" collectors, again...

The problem here is that least people want to swallow that bitter pill by paying full price just to support the line. Here, most consumers try to get away as cheap as possible. And I think that's a global phenomenon.

My latest order from Amazon.com arrived. I placed the order on May 3. The two tanks just took 8 days to be delivered and the rest 12 days - they arrived in good condition. Nice job Amazon!
The TVC Hoth Rebel Soldiers didn’t come in bubble wrap envelopes this time, but the cards are still in fair condition.
Last time two of three cards were bent even though they came in those envelopes...

Those tanks look like they came in excellent shape. Good for amazon. I think this new one day prime shipping is causing them to use envelopes more than boxes now. I ordered something for my daughter that should have been shipped in a box but was in one of those envelopes. If I had wanted it to display I would have been ticked.

Sorry for my late reply gentlemen. Yes, they recently do this here in Germany, too! The first time I experienced this new shipping policy of Amazon was when I ordered a TBS Rebel Fleet Trooper for 16€.
I agree, this is just a bad idea. Putting the shipping labels right on the packaging of the product is just horrible, but it happens here, too.
Tamer, you might be exactly right! But maybe Amazon only wants us to order more at a time to get our stuff shipped in an extra box...I wouldn't mind if they charged an extra 20-50 cents on packaging (shipping & handling). I think I'll write their customer service now and make a suggestion.

Those two orders from Amazon.com came in very good shape, indeed!

Also a nice surprise of last week was that Amazon Germany listed the TVC Desert Skiff!
It went up for pre-order for a little over 40€, which is a fantastic price! If they do get them, I'd get them cheaper here than in the U.S. or UK with those import fees and high shipping costs...so fingers crossed!
They're supposed to arrive here in the middle of September.

I was just gonna say that Amazon keep impressing me by their packaging. They got some good packers here in Germany.

I received those LEGO Harry Potter sets in excellent condition and at best price (temporarily). They were secured and delivered without any damage. The boxes have a couple little dents at the most, but who knows if they left the factory like that already?

But when my FX Lightsaber arrived here, a bad surprise expected me inside the box...I paid 168.73€ for Count Dooku's Lightsaber, but it was not worth to further protect it:

The packaging of the lightsaber came dented and I know it's just the packaging, but I decided to contact their customer service. I suppose they just took the boxes they use for gardening tools etc.
In the short and efficient chat, their customer service offered me 20€ refund without even asking for a picture of proof. The damage is quite small, but still a bummer. The damage on the Kethanna was much bigger in retrospect.

I told them about the reviews I had read including the info that the same lightsaber was 122.50€ shortly before I placed the order. So asked if we could maybe do 30€ refund and they agreed. I usually don't do stuff like that, but when I buy a high-end collectible I expect them to handle it with care. What do you think?

I think you are well within your right to expect your items to be shipped well. I won't order from Amazon unless as a last ditch effort because of their cheaper shipping methods now.

That is the reason one of the last questions I asked the brand team when they announced all those amazon exclusives was if they were going to make sure amazon shipped their stuff out well. They said they weren't aware amazon had problems with their shipping shape and all of the other folks on the panel backed me up. It was pretty cool.

I did try to order the 40th Zuckuss and 4LOM. They came beat up. I had to send them back. Nice thing is the return is pretty easy, but still. I gotta wonder how much stuff gets buggered up and what happens with it all when it gets sent back.

Yeah, that's why I always buy several items to be shipped together. There are just too many stories about bent cards and smashed bubbles on Facebook and elsewhere...I wish I had claimed for a replacement when my TVC Hoth Rebel Soldiers arrived here bent as well.
I'll go back and take a look at my orders from back in 2018. But there's no chance I can claim for anything now. I might just open them.

Amazon gives you an option for double-boxed shipping now!

It seems Amazon Germany have reacted to some customers' complaints! When I ordered my Jurassic World Brachiosaurus from Mattel via Amazonsmile (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/homepage?orig=%2F), I had the option to select an extra box! I would've taken a screenshot, but since it was in German anyway, I didn't. You gotta to take a close look JUST BEFORE you confirm your order! Scroll down completely on the last page before payment to select this shipping option.
First, I thought they would put the shipping label right onto the packaging, which has happened countless times before over in the U.S.
But it actually came in the shipping box plus an extra box, that I had to select SEPERATELY.
So if you're a collector and still order on Amazon, you might want to keep this in mind!

I will definitely look for that double boxed shipping option. I am guessing you have to pay a bit more for that, but it would be worth it to get the amazon exclusives. Hasbro was supposedly gonna talk to them about their shipping after our last conversation with them, but I haven't heard back if they did. Its just insane seeing them ship vintage carded stuff in such horrible ways.

Nope. No extra charges for the extra box. I paid 53.80€ for the Brachiosaurus includuing 27 cents (0.5%) donation via Amazon smile, FREE SHIPPING in an extra box. It was an option for the customer to save Amazon an extra box. But I found some good use for the extra box:

I marked the option with a red arrow right at the bottom left of the first screenshot. If you select this option, the item will be packed in an extra box. The text above it says:

Okay, just tried the same order on Amazon.com - the Brachiosaurus ships from a third party seller in the UK to FL for just under $60. With a price of $64 it would cost a total of ~ $124. Do yourself a favor and order it on TARGET for the regular MRSP of $49.99 and FREE SHIPPING within the U.S. while supplies last!
Also the Slave I is sold out on Amazon.com so I couldn't check it either. I need an item that comes in an own shipper AND is sold by and ships from Amazon.com to see if this option is given.

Well, you can be sure that this item will be shipped in a separate cardboard box. The JW Brachiosaurus is an exception because it comes in its own shipper. If you don't want Amazon to put labels on that shipping box from Mattel, then you can choose this option of the extra box.

I highly doubt Amazon will slap a label right on the packaging of this 2-Pack. I know it has happened before, but this is not an item this should happen to. Fingers crossed.

That's why I always bus more than one of such smaller sets or single carded figures so that the packers won't get any crazy ideas. But one could expect that all items arrive in good shape. You can always contact their customer service and they will definitely offer you a replacement now that it's back in stock.

I decided to finally order the new Darth Revan's Force FX Lightsaber (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10836.msg221431#msg221431) on smile.Amazon UK. I got it for 201.36 GBP (~$255.71 USD or ~223€) including shipping from the United Kingdom to Germany.

Today I received my order a week earlier than estimated delivered by DHL.
It was better secured than my last order with Count Dooku's lightsaber, but still got a little dent. It almost arrived in pristine condition...almost. But I can live with that small dent on the box as long as the lightsaber itself has no issues.

You just cant trust Amazon to ship well once they went to the thinner boxes. I am sure it was a cost cutting measure, but I probably won't order anything from Amazon again unless its at a bargain price and I don't care about damaged packaging.

  I got a Gonk droid from Amazon, because I'm an opener and Dorkside still hasn't shipped the one I pre-ordered. They sent it to me Prime in a box. I open the box and it's mint condition. I was surprised but their efforts are a waste because I'm going to rip it open anyway. But it seems like they are aware of their mishandling of collector focused figures, and are doing better.  If I were a MOC collector, I still wouldn't trust them fully.

I received my Amazon order from June 13. They delivered the book on September 2, 2020. It looks like it was imported from the USA because all were sold out on Amazon Germany. It wasn't even granted that I'd get it. So I'm really happy to have gotten it for 29€ (~$32.48). On ebay it's offered for 50€ or more already. It's worth every penny with 256 pages and I might order a second one to give away since there're are 4 left in stock:

You might want to check out the facebook page of StarActionFigures.co.uk - there they shared a video of opening a solid case of TVC Boba Fett figures. 6 of 8 of them had the exact same damage (vailing) at the same spot your Power Droid does.

Yeah I know Philipp the box they sent it in was pristine so I do think these could have been damaged elsewhere, thats why I am trying again. Hasbro has got to figure out a way to ensure vintage cards are not damaged just by boxing em up and sending them to retailers.

I'm so glad that I waited on the Brachiosaurus! Bought my first one for 53€ (~$60) on Amazon. And now the price dropped to the U.S. MRSP of 49.99€ on Amazon Germany. They offer an extra coupon of 1.50€. I just had to get my second one now. How far do you think the price will drop at TARGET? This beauty started selling here for 72.99€ (~$82) or more.

One got to be patient though. It's going to take 1-2 months for delivery. So if I get lucky it will arrive before Christmas. That's well worth the wait for me though. A childhood dream came true.

Just said it over on the Mattel thread, but amazon is convenient and with prime it is hard not to use it. They have really made getting what you want and checking out quick. They just need to offer an extra box service with shipping and they would take over again. You just can't trust them to ship vintage stuff.

I did get my last box in ok, but it was still crushed on one side and we all figured it was doomed, but somehow the figures inside just had warped cards. Once again just sitting on top of each other unsupported with one bubble thing on top.

I would love to get my hands on whomever is in charge of their action figure shipping operations to give them some heads up on how to ship toys, but I know its a bottom line ship cheap boxes with less packing material to save dollars.

I got TVC Hondo last week, it came in a bubble mailer, but my Chirrut this week came in a box. The Hondo had a decent card, I guess it was thrown on top of the pile. The Chirrut box was a little too small, and it's slightly curved, but I've gotten sealed cases from Hasbro with curved/bent cards. I order through Amazon, I open. Pretty much all the tvc preorders besides walmart exclusives I get through Amazon. I have free prime with verizon wireless, so I'm going to use it. I also get free Disney+ well it's not "free" nothing is free, that's why my bill is so high.

yeah, amazon makes it so daggone convenient. I think they have got us over a barrel. And yes I have prime too so we use it a lot living in a pretty rural area where we use it way too much.

I just don't count on getting good vintage stuff from them. It took me three tries with the gonk droid and that was because I got lucky the third time even though the box came crushed on one side.

  Yeah I took a second look at the Hondo I got and the very top does have a crease and a little warped. These cards are so vulnerable it's almost impossible to get a perfect card. Bubble mailers don't help. From a logistical standpoint the TBS boxes are better, they fit snug in a case they're stackable, but they're ugly, especially the old red and black ones. The new ones are nice.  Back in the day no one cared about the cards, in fact some retailers would cut the cards in half and throw them in a dump bin. So I guess the modern equivalent to cutting the cards is, throwing them in a mailer. I wonder how much shrink Hasbro/retailers have due to card damage or bubble separation.
Who delivers your Amazon? Some places use USPS, some use third party couriers, mine is shipped by Amazon vans now.

Amazon can if they got a couple seconds extra, but this time I only got half the luck. No bubble wrap and a card that would not apply to "pristine condition" anymore. Usually we don't get many accessories even in The Black Series. But when Hasbro spends a couple extra pennies, we sometimes get incredibly many in one set. But they often are not visible through the packaging. I think that's sad if you have to make a buying decision. Of course it's a nice surprise when you open it up, but I think it'd be better if one could see the entire content maybe even printed on the back of the packaging.


The box of the Snowspeeder arrived in okay condition. I don't complain at all for 99€ when it goes for about that amount in the bay now. Plus I snagged it in the right moment because now it's sold out on Amazon.de.

I think Amazon will never be the right source for MINT collectors.
You know and that's exactly why I became a loose & used collector because I don't want to care more about the packaging than the figure/product itself.

Amazon Germany imported some units from Amazon UK charging an extra import fee for their internal logistics, which is...interesting. The sold them between 19,76€ and 20,35€, which is a great price!

  Awesome! I use Amazon primarily for my figures. It's like I told the guy bagging my groceries, put it all in one bag, I'm just going to turn it into S#!% anyway. Same with figures,  I'm just going to rip it open anyway. lately, in the last year or more, I've had good cards. They must have gotten greif from consumers, and maybe even from Hasbro possibly. It's similar to what the video you posted about walmart. Them having tens of thousands of products, they're not likely to change their policy for a few items. Like the Assault tank i got, wasn't even in a box, they just slapped a shipping lable on it, like it was a toaster. However the carbon freezing chamber was shipped in a box. Third party sellers ship their products carefully, but they're more expensive. It's advantageous for me, the less people use Amazon  for figures TBH. No preoder sell outs. The only thing that bothers me about Amazon, is that they hold steadfast to that ship date. As we all know, if Hasbro claims a May release, retailers will get them several months early, and usually they ship early.

I find Amazon is ONLY good for getting a deal... Via the "used" section. When I've gotten NEW, 98.5% of the time I have to request replacements  since its all messed up... But even then its a crap shoot. A perfect example is when I got TBS Snowspeeder $90 and it arrived with ONLY a shipping label on the original box!!! And the box itself also in crap condition and overall water damaged!!! I thought I having nightmare or something.

Do Amazon charge customers extra costs they have to pay since BREXIT?

Today when I checked my recent orders the TVC AT-ST "Raider" was shown to me on Amazon.de - and to my total surprise, it's available to pre-order here in Germany from Amazon UK!
Before I moved it to my cart, I checked Amazon UK and USA for availability - sold out. The GBP is still stronger than the EUR and even the USD so it makes no sense to me that Amazon only sell this one here in Germany. Not even in France or Spain...Germany seems to be a strong market for Amazon - definitely the strongest market in continental Europe.
So the regular price is 77€, shipping is FREE, BUT they take 15€ import fees from the UK.
This makes me wonder if Amazon charges customers with costs they have to pay for internal logistics and customs fees.
At checkout I had to pay a few cents less than shown on the product page. And 91.74€ is still a great price considering the fact that the cheapest offer on ebay.de is at 212€ already!
I hope it arrives and a second run of this great version like the Slave I would be more than welcome.

It's great to see Amazon make rare items available here, but charging higher import fees is not cool.
Still regret that I didn't pull the trigger when I saw one in the bay loose for 60€. It was online for two weeks and by now just the pack-in figure goes for well over 40€...

Is this the vintage version? Meaning does it come in the vintage box? Thats awesome.

I tried to get one of these when they went on clearnace and Best Buy shipped it in the same box it came in. Needless to say it arrived horribly mangled. I was never able to get one!

I hope you have good luck with Amazon.

Yes, it's the one and only repaint in TVC packaging. I also had the chance to buy it from UK etailers, but when I found the listing at Forbidden Planet they were sold out already!

Add: I also read some reviews on Amazon and most of them are from Dec 2019 to Jan 2020 - I guess I missed the chance then...it was about 65€ back then so it was even the same price that Best Buy claimed. I paid 33% more now, but that's okay compared to over 200€ on the secondary market. The reviews also say that it arrived in great condition. But that was over a year ago...let's see.

Feebay...that's a brilliant way to say it. I mostly bought from, but didn't sell on ebay. And with their latest change of terms & conditions, they do suck. Raising their sales fee to 11% is one thing, but now sellers cannot even select, that they don't want to be paid with PayPal. So I sold one item and had the extra PayPal fees which sucked so much, that I removed my other 24 items only two days after I uploaded them. I won't sell anything on ebay again and know of many other users who will leave ebay because of their latest changes. One said the variety of products will decrease quite a bit from now on. I agree, but don't know if it will be noticeable.
ebay is a great place for customers, but not for sellers. So is Amazon if you're keen enough and try to sell via Amazon.

I'm glad to have checked Amazon today because the pre-order price for the TVC AT-ST "Raider" dropped to 75,59€ (at checkout) inlcuding shipping & import fees. I could order a maximum of 30 units! But I only ordered one at the lower price and cancelled the one of 91€. Buying two doesn't make a difference now after it was an extra 10 bucks a few days ago.
At the end of June is Prime Day here in Germany (and probably worldwide?). Maybe the offer will last 'til then and maybe drop to 65€? I keep my fingers crossed. But I'm already super happy to get a second chance on this one...

Nice to see these are still out there. I remember when these first came out I wanted one badly... But I have like 10-15 of TBS version (WalMart clearance $10-$15 each 😉). So I just couldn't pull the $80(?) best buy wanted and it didn't hit clearance around me. Soo basically I regretted not usually my gift card to later (on 2 credit collection heavy mandos which ate probably still sitting at some stores 😢).

IF this AT-ST comes back around I'll definitely breakdown and get it. Otherwise I'll just customize my own... Which is what I was always going to do since its not a huge paint application/addition that Hasbro added. I mean I'll I need us some nets and red paint right?

I tried to get one when it hit clearance, but those were shipped even worse than were new if that is to be believed. They just stuck the mailing label to the side of the box and it showed up mangled.

Got lucky with Amazon once again even though they put any extra paper or bubble wrap in the box. They got somewhat better boxes in the UK. Even small shipments come in these durable and smart designed boxes. Got Asajj Ventress for 20.40€ which is a good price compared to the MRSP of 26.99€ here in Germany. Since BREXIT Amazon UK suddenly offers A LOT of products here on the German Marketplace - coincidence?

Well, that's well said Tamer. Today I received my next lottery ticket and won again. The box is slightly damaged, BUT this could've also happened in the factory. This thing feels and smells factory fresh and I'm super happy. Except for this crease, the box and product itself are in pristine condition. So cudis to Amazon for a great delivery. Besides I'm super happy to have gotten this. Could've gotten the Mosasaurus at Toys "R" Us for 29.99€ years ago, paid 33.73€ on smile.Amazon now while it's offered for over 75€ everywhere else by now. So glad this will see a repainted re-issue!

Add: I placed my order on April 23, 2021 and had to wait 'til now (June 12, 2021), but the wait was worth it. So does it work with the TVC AT-ST Raider, which I shared above. Pre-order and the date of delivery is not known (if not cancelled). So you're right, Amazon can be like a lottery!

  This set came completely out of thin air, yet it was sold out at most 20 minutes after it released. I wasn't heart broken I didn't get it but that rex is pretty cool. I don't see how it sold so quickly without any warning. They must not have produced many since nobody buys figures from Amazon anymore. I agree though exclusives are dumb. More than likely we get rex single released.

This set proves how bad everything is now. Hasbro just treats SW as collectables now. The only toys are w/e is not "selling". The mission fleet line is a perfect example... No reason it couldn't have just been ACTION FLEET, micro machines (but offer value unlike last attempt) heck they could've even quadrupled down on 5poa and just offered open box packages and little or no accessories. But Hasbro just always tries to back some new product  instead every time, only now its the collector getting shafted by a plethora of limited products and forced scarcity... As so what the company can make a few extra bucks for doing less work??? I mean they are sooo lazy that micro machines are now a sub license to another manufacturer.

I don't mean to rant. Its just everything is constantly getting more ridiculous. This 4 pack is the perfect example. All the figures could / should be regular release. The set shouldn't also cost $60 or w/e MSRP. But if nothing else announce this set with the launch of bad batch, take preorders for a month... Send the in-stock and fill the leftovers. Its a no brainer. It shouldn't be some game a consumer has to play having 20mins to buy something never announced just to become a myth or unicorn to some flipper!!!!!!!

And it's supposed to ship on December 1, 2021 - that'd be a month earlier than U.S. shipment like it happened with many Star Wars and Jurassic World products before.

If I was a MISB collector, today wouldn't be my luckiest day. These cardboard envelopes aren't the best solution. They don't resist any stress so that its content gets crushed easily. I'll also report this to Amazon. I'm still happy to have gotten Mr Dennis Nedry of the Amber Collection for 25,89€/$28 USD because they usually go for 35€ here if you can find them at all here in Germany!

A couple days ago I got an e-mail from Amazon.de that there's a delay for this set. It's not arriving in December 2021 anymore. Instead, the new approx. delivery date is January 19, 2022.
So don't worry, Europe won't get these sets earlier than the U.S.

Sounds almost as great as my news, Tamer! Amazon cancelled 4 of my pre-orders without letting me know. I mean they could've at least sent me an e-mail!


Amazon silently cancels pre-orders after months of waiting, but what's even more concerning is that they don't care anymore if I'm happy or not with their behavior...

When I pre-ordered these items, I kept my hopes low that I'd actually receive them. But Amazon had them online for weeks and even prices went up and down. After Amazon UK offered them on the German Marketplace, Amazon Germany offered them a few weeks later. I don't know what the deal is with the AT-ST Raider. But looking at the eBay prices, I can only pray for a second run similar to Boba Fett's Slave I.

So I had to find out for myself that my orders are no longer coming. They were suddenly gone and it took a little of looking around 'til I found the section "cancelled orders" on my account.
No notification, no nothing. Therefore I contacted their customer service and first they claimed to have cancelled my orders because my credit card doesn't exist anymore. I said that's true, but in past orders I could just switch bank accounts and received my items anyway. So that was just a lazy excuse. Then I asked if ANY of the pre-ordered items shipped recently. No answer.
Then the dude in the chat kinda admitted that they had difficulties getting the items and I told him that I believe him because Hasbro sent the stuff out once and then they're gone.
Mattel seem to do it differently and make their products available MUCH longer. Hasbro only have a short time window. I mean even TungHori has his trouble getting the latest figures...

The joke is on me and what's even more funny is that it's still up for pre-order, but not for 67€. It's 89,99€ now! I ordered it AGAIN!

It does! And I told the guy that I could've gotten my stuff elsewhere in the meantime! I mean I had been waiting for a shipping date since June. And last week was the most recent chance for me to get this AT-ST loose without figure for 90€ shipped. But he didn't give a Bantha podoo!
I'm slightly disappointed by Amazon and try to avoid buying from them. 8 years ago I ordered A LOT there, but it's become less and less. They've probably noticed and they don't need me as customer, either! Let's face it. There are billions more. And Jeff already reaches for the stars and appears to be absent already.

Living in a very rural area like I do Amazon has gotten a good hold of my family. It is just so much more convenient and its nice to stay out of stores with covid and now omnicron or whatever it is.

I agree with you though. I feel I would be better off sometimes without em. I won't use for anything I want good carded, not unless its a great deal.

Today I received the notification that all 3 of my orders were cancelled because my credit card expired. My bad! At the beginning of the year, it was no problem to just change bank accounts to take my money, but now they just cancel everything. Cancel culture must taste good.
As I said they don't need my money anymore.

I had ordered the Bad Batch 4-Pack from Amazon Germany, Spain and France. It was cheapest in Spain and shipping was just 4€ or so. BUT now I don't get a single one of them.

A friend of mine received a notification today that his 2 packs are going to ship on Monday. So good news for all UK fans & collectors out there!

This is interesting also because it was actually going to ship on January 19, 2022. And in the U.S. it was delayed 'til March 2022 as far as I know.

Amazon Germany delivered my order in another pillow case once again, but it arrived in fairly good condition. They sold this Deluxe Jar Jar for 20.58€ instead of 34.99€. I had to get him for this incredible price. It's a brilliant figure and I wish all figures came with so many accessories.
For MISB collectors Amazon will stay frustrating even though the packaging I got only has small dents and a little blur on the blister.

That's crazy! I thought it was a repaint of the new Boba Fett, but I suppose it's the old sculpt? So just a straight repack? I think that's a nice offer for all who missed the P3 version.

And the best thing to me about this is that Hasbro won't hesitate to put other figures like Tarkin in P4 packaging! That's an absolute win to me in my book. If I collected the entire P3 line, I'd be pretty pis_ed now though. I think the P4 design is the BEST one to start collecting The Black Series.
I quit collecting it and focus on 3.75" completely, again!  ;D

Amazon Germany makes me very happy once again for sending me the TVC Bad Batch 4-Pack in an extra shipper. I was hoping they do because my buddy received his the same way and in excellent condition.

They put this set on pre-order for 60€ and free shipping! I’m glad I pre-ordered them because now the go for 135€ or more on the bay. Sold out on Amazon, but I still hope the get more in March…

What is the cheapest price on the Vintage Collection Tantive IV Playset that you know of? Firefly Buy is  is currently selling it on Amazon.com for $31.99 USD. I just bought another one on Amazon.de for 47.70€ (~$51.51 USD). If I bought it in the US and had it shipped to Germany, it would be about $50 with shipping and customs fee deposit.
But since the Rebel Fleet Trooper alone goes for about 35€ here, it's worth it for me to open it and build a little hallway.

If I can find it for around $30, I'm going to get 4-6 more of them.

So great to see that Amazon and Hasbro kept their word and made more units of this set available again! I think it should always be like this, if logistics allow it. Demand for specific figures and sets is higher than for others and in the past Hasbro just included popular figures in the next wave.

Also good to see that your set arrived in excellent condition even though it was just the shipper that was exposed to the environment...

I finally contacted the customer service from Hasbro here in Germany and got a response on the next workday.

The Vintage Collection AT-ST Raider is still listed on Amazon, but not available anymore. That's why I was wondering if it was going to come back in stock. I mean what other reason would there be to keep it listed, right?

But Hasbro took this illusion from me. A re-issue of this vehicle is not planned. I found it interesting that the guy who answered to my question also wrote that they don't have any extra parts or even a boxed one in stock even though I hadn't asked that. Maybe they received many questions if people can buy sold out items directly from them...


FialaFernbrugg told me on Friday that the AT-ST Raider was sold on Amazon Germany for over a year. Unfortunaltely I completely missed it! Since it was a Best Buy Exclusive I didn't expect it to be available here in Germany at all.

I'm a customer of Amazon since 2010 and never have they ever offered me an extra bonus/gift card ever before. However last week they offered a 5€ discount on one item of 15€ or more. And they had a massive amount of items to choose from.

I decided to order another TVC Tantive IV Playset. It was 44€ so I got it for 39€ - the cheapest so far.
If only I lived in the U.S. where such discounts are far more common. As far as I know Amazon.com is much more generous to U.S. customers with such promotions on a regular basis.

Amazon sent me an email to let me know that they're putting their SMILE affiliate program on hiatus on February 20, 2023. They say it didn't perform as well as they hoped. But I'm not buying this.
Even google had to cancel jobs recently and business for Amazon went down quite a bit in Q4 of 2022 as well. So they cancel their donations for charity now. One more reason for me to finally delete my account.
My last order on Amazon was November 9 anyways. I always placed my orders on Amazon Smile. In return Amazon donated 1% I think it was to a local animal shelter. I'll just donate directly to them from now on.

Another happy landing with Amazon Germany. And I'm not even a prime member. TBS Cobb Vanth was only 20.10€ instead of 39.99€. Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter leaves LEGO's assortment at the end of the year so I got another one for 22€.

Yeah, you're probably right. They also have some good standards here. Obviously Amazon want to avoind returns and the stats for toys are that toys have one of the lowest return rates. That's why selling toys online is very attractive.

I got two of those Security Droids for 12.36€ each with free shipping. Another pillow box held them save.
One box (on the right) has minor damage on the front - perfect for me as an opener.
The other box is in very good condition once again. Buying two or more paid off once, again.
With Princess Leia (Ewok Village) I won the lottery, that's true.

A third party seller offered this Gaming Greats Battle Droid for 15.95€ including shipping on Amazon Germany. Shipping was probably about 6€. This version is sold out almost everywhere in the UK - even for 30 GBP!
Couldn't say no to this offer and even though it was the last one it arrived in truly pristine condition wrapped in paper and came in a sturdy cardboard box. Excellent delivery here.

Got the Razor Crest in 1/72 scale for 39€ with a coupon of 6,90€. Thanks to my buddy Dan for making me aware of this offer. The MRSP for this kit here in Germany is a whopping 62.99€!

The Endor Speeder Bike was back down at $25, yesterday. I hesitated to buy 2 of them and today it's back to $43. Good news is that Amazon.com still have some in stock. Once they're sold out, it's getting nasty with third party sellers.

It feels like the same game starts all over again as with the AT-ST Raider from 2019. Hopefully Amazon will actually get some more in stock for the 4th quarter. They sure sell them right through during Holiday Season.

You can add more than 10 units to your cart, but at checkout you're eventually limited to 3.
So I finally ordered 3 TVC Speeder Bikes with Biker Scout yesterday and keep my fingers crossed that they actually arrive at the end of October. Can't get much better than $25 plus tax for this set. Feels like 2012 again!

Sorry for not sharing it earlier. These Prime Big Deals were offered from Oct 10-11. I was at work on Tuesday from 7-6 and forgot to look for deals by Wednesday. Last night I browsed Amazon Germany and found some laughable deals there. Those on Amazon USA were much better.

I guess JTA made some good cash with all their embedded affiliate links.

If I knew how to generate affiliates I'd do it and share them here for our forum.

I used the link on our frontpage last night to buy 3 more TVC Endor Speeder Bikes. Interesting enough it that I had to cancel my previous order of the same amount, but for $3 more per Speeder in advance. It said I reached the limit of 3 per customer. So I saved about 7 bucks just by re-ordering 3 Speeder Bikes, which yet decreased in price once again!
$23 were already great, but $19.97 truly take me back to the good old days of 2008.

I was VERY tempted to pull the trigger on the TVC Kenobo 3-Pack for 25 bucks, but I got the strong feeling that this set doesn't sell too well. So chances are we'll see this set for even less before or after Christmas. I just need that Jawa trader.

Well, other sellers on Amazon offer it for $45.90 so I finally pulled the trigger on the Kenobi 3-Pack. Teeka is such a cool Jawa figure, so I got it twice. For some reason, many prices remained low even though the Big Deals Days are over.
$24.99 for 3 TVC figures is great and takes me back to the good ole days of 2010.
And of course I used out link to buy them along with a JW Hammond Collection Dr. Ian Malcom - you're welcome :D

Amazon Germany have some decent offers at the moment - especially on The Black Series figures. Luckily they also have Darth Revan back in stock for little below MRSP: so I got him for 19,66€ and TBS Migs Mayfield for 9,99€ each.
Could've been packed better this time, but it's not the end of the world for me.
Fortunately they all arrived in good shape and Revan has no stress lines on the card art!

Thanks for sharing this Tamer! I think TVC Leia looks absolutely gorgeous! The wait for her felt like half an eternity since 2004. Only took Hasbro 20 years, which is 1/3 or 1/4 of a lifetime for many collectors. She looks good enough to me so that I'll ever have to buy another version.
To me she finally is good enough and I'm glad that Hasbro finally make the mains in "definite"/improved versions.

Guess which figure sold out on pre-order after 2 hours on HasbroPulse here in Europe?

Fortunately I stopped caring years ago. Otherwise this hobby would be way too frustrating for me and my heart. I'm sure at least Amazon will get more stock than Pulse will allow themselves to sell here in Europe. Gotta love that artificial shortage of supply while demand rises, right?!

Have you guys found any deals on Amazon for Easter? I haven't. Nothing major like TVC Jejerrod for 15,99€ instead of 19,99€. The TBS Rebel Commando was 21,99€ from 2-4 am from a third party seller, but went back up to 27,99€ by sunrise. Haven't ordered anything.

I've never received Star Wars stuff in better condition than this time. And I say this having had much luck with Amazon Germany since 2013.
I ordered several items and Amazon combined two orders in one shipment. Work smart and safe cost, right?

Everything is in great shape! There are not even small scratches on the TVC cards this time!

Only the Retro Collection 2-Pack has a little crease in one corner, but that’s totally fine for $13.13. The VC Army Builder 4-Packs were $24.99 each and the Retro 6-Pack was $68 and is sold out in Germany.

Mid November, before Black Friday, Amazon had some deals on TVC and TBS figures only for Prime members. I don't have Prime, but a friend of mine was so kind to order some for me.
They were 14€ each instead of 19,99€. A great price especially for the Stormtrooper which quickly sold out. Luke Skywalker (X-Wing), Commander Rex and Ahsoka were also part of the deal.
