Agen Kolar

This figure is part of wave 11 (REVENGE OF THE SITH) TheLegacyCollection. The figure itself is a bit controversially because there are two points which are not movie (Ep. 3) accurate, the green lightsaber and the short skirt.  In Ep. 3 he was shown with a blue lightsaber, longer skirt and also with a Jedi robe.

story (from the package):
Agen Kolar is one of the Jedi who join Mace Windu to arrest Chancellor Palpatine. When Palpatine ignites his lightsaber, Kolar and the rest of the Jedi also ignite their weapons. The Chancellor leaps over his desk and fatally strikes Kolar.

articulation:
*ball-jointed neck
*ball-hinged shoulders
*ball-hinged elbows

*ball-hinged knees
*ball-hinged ankles

so 5/5 on the articulation

accessories:
lightsaber
BAD-part: YVH-1's body

per:
Hasbro did a great job on the face-detailing and also the  articulation is ok.

versus:
For me is the green lightsaber not a big deal. I have enough blue lightsabers from other figures but why made Hasbro a picture of the figure with the correct lightsaber colour and put it on the package, that is really weird.
The point I don't like is the short skirt. The character was never shown with this skirt in the movies.

I give this figure a 8/10.

I got this one just for the YVH body part.
But this one is far better than the older jedi vs Palpitine BP or Jedi council version.
Better articulation and posability with out the long hard rubbery dress and bad leg articulation.
And the different lightsaber color made me wonder if it was the one I bought or all of them.
I had only ever seen 1 until this afternoon so I had no comparisons.
I am pleased that I bought it. Pretty nice fig.

great review friend! very interesting. the figure is awesome also and i liked the little diorama. u should add it to diorama section either!

It is not really a dio, I just took five figures and made a pic. A dio needs a bit more work  ;)

Nice reveiw.

Dispite all the controversy around this figure (Length of robes, lightsaber color) I really like this figure, he has a very nice head sculpt.  the only think I don't like fully is the bend in the wrist, but it does allow for a few interesting poses.

You gotta wonder if hasbro pays attention to what they put out for release. A screw up like sabre colour is forgivable but kinda fun to laugh at hasbro for... ^-^

Great review Fiala and isn't it weird that every Agen Kolar figure has the wrong color saber.
