Moving to the left, we've got  my Tatooine, Hoth, Cloud City, Dagobah, and Endor Playsets shelf...

Luke Skywalker is apparently doing DOUBLE guard duty... this time with dear ol' daddy Darth Vader!

Here, they both standing guard over my squadron of Imperial Tie Interceptors.  Packaging for these Interceptors had been damaged in a flood. This is why they are loose.

To the left of that, Princess Leia guards my C-3P0 Collector Cases containing my Rebel Forces Personnel,  and my General Character cases from A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi...

NOTE:  Six Tie interceptors have been added to the collection (total 32)

R2-D2 and C3-P0 stand as representatives of the REBEL FLEET of my collection: A-Wing Fighters (total 16), B-Wing Fighters (total 4), Rebel Transports, Y-Wing Fighters, Millennium Falcon(s) (various releases) and X-Wing Fighters.

NOTE:  Added to the collection are 4 Rebel X-Wing Fighters (total 30), 5 Rebel Y-Wing Fighters (total 11), one Rebel Transport (total 3) and the new Legacy Big Millennium Falcon

Han Solo and Chewbacca mean BUSINESS!! The pair stand guard over that fast "hunk of Junk", my six-foot long Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire Toys r Us store display from 1997 (inside the custom-made box carton with graphics that I created.)

This ship is pretty much to CORRECT scale for the 3-3/4 inch action figures, so those Large Winged TIE FIGHTERS had better watch out!!

I'm not sure yet which Millennium Falcon I consider to be the "official" one of my collection.  This one is awesome.   But the new Legacy Big Millenium Falcon (about half the size of this one) is more accurate in its design and is built to actually carry action figures.

This Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire features light up headlights and mandilble cannons.

These are some photos of the loose Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire on the day I brought her home to my old apartment.  I stood her up on edge next to the window.

And here she stands next to  Han Solo and Chewbacca life sized Standees.  Han Solo is 6 Feet tall.

We're back were we started...

In the CENTER of my Collection room I have a six-foot long banquet table set up with my custom-built correctly-scaled JAWA SANDCRAWLER parked on top.

This custom JAWA SANDCRAWLER is 2-1/2 Feet tall.   5 Feet 2 inches long.  It features a Full Control Room Cabin,  Front Ramp Loading Bay,  Side Compartment Droid Storage, and  Working lights.

NOTE:  It's a darn good thing I only needed to have ONE of these built since only ONE appears in Ep IV !

Vintage Kenner Death Star Space Stations make an AWESOME Super-playset when you assemble a few of them together in a BIG semi-circle!!
The top floor looks especially cool with all the Laser Cannons side by side!!

"Main Characters"  (non army-builders OR characters not Imperial or Rebel affiliated) are stored in Vintage Kenner vinyl cases of their corresponding films:  At the moment about 8 vinyl cases (for each OT film) are full of main characters.

A NEW HOPE

Fabulous collection.  Is all this in a basement?  If so, how many dehumidifiers do you have running?   :)

I wish I had stocked up on Darth Vader carrying cases like you've done.  I don't have the massive armies you do; but I've come to the point I have enough figures where several of these would be nice to have.

Actually, this collection is up on the second floor of my home.  The space is currently under construction which is why it has that bare-brick, stripped-down look. But the space is quite dry so there is no need for de-humidifiers(thank goodness).

As for Vader cases,  I pretty much make sure that I own (a minimum) of 4 empty cases at all times for the growing imperial army.  All of the Vader cases you see on the shelves in these pics are full, but I have 4 other cases (not pictured) that are empty and waiting for additional Imperial personnel.  Everytime, I begin to fill a new Vader case, I get on E-bay and purchase another one to maintain my empty reserve.

It certainly feels like a store sometimes... except for the not having anything for sale part  ;D  !

Hard to believe this all started 32 years ago.  And the idea was to re-enact the movies with my toys... Sheesh, sometimes even I acknowledge that that idea has gotten a little bit out of hand. ::)

I was supposed to do this on Saturday (Christmas day), but I got held up with tons of family stuff.

Then on Sunday our big East coast Snowstorm hit.  It looked like HOTH outside my window!!  And that made it even MORE difficult not to do this!

Yesterday,  I spent the day digging out of the snow and thoroughly cleaning my home. By the end of it all, I was just too exhausted.

But TODAY  I finally did it!  I finally assembled my full AT-AT fleet so that I could sit back and giggle like an idiot!

Five of these walkers are ready to CRUSH the rebels on Hoth, and one is ready to bring Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader on Endor!  ;)

ALL six AT-ATs wear vintage Kenner side guns!

My cats are TERRIFIED!  ;D

Do you see that really cool-looking one that seems like its about to dock at an Imperial platform?   You don't?

Well, it's the light grey one... the one that's just over 2 feet tall.  No? Still don't see it?

Come on, man it's right there!  it's so obvious!  It's the one that Luke Skywalker and his Imperial captors are inside of.  See it now?   ;D

Very nice collection, even if it was just one of everything.  Very nice, indeed!  I have to say I think my favorite piece in your collection is that Sandcrawler.  That is absolutely stunning.  Thanks for sharing!  Now I know it *could* be done - if I set my mind to it.  :P

Right!

I mean, if  given the choice of owning a whole new wardrobe of winter clothes for use in our Northeast blizzards OR owning a fleet of Hasbro BAT-ATs  for use in those same blizzards... for me, that's a no-brainer!!!   I say, bring on the BAT-ATs!!

My wife teases me, that sometimes she'll enter the room where I'm sitting at the computer, and while some women catch their husbands looking at online porn or whatever, she always catches me looking at an AT-AT, or a Twin Pod Cloud Car,  or a Gamorrean Guard, etc...   ;D ;D ;D

;D  Mine saves me styrofoam packaging material and empty plastic containers... but she does admit that she always knows where I am and that generally the $$ I spend on toys ends up benefiting not just me, but I share with the kids as well.  Brendan and I bounce ideas and aesthetics of customs off each other, Keke is turning into a bloody fine photographer, and Lonnie does a good job of cheerleading!  So not only am I *not* runnin' the streets the way some women's men do, I'm spending time with the kids, getting them involved in what I'm doing.  Surely that's worth a 48' box-van full of styrofoam and toys, right??   :o   8)

I've commented on your collection before over at RS, but let me repeat it here, I am planning to come there for a visit to see this in person, I dont know when yet, but I have informed the wife (which works out because she wants to see NY) so be prepared. Oh and I'm renting a truck so I can bring that awesome sandcrawler with me (and the Boba ;) )

Hey Spooky!!

I really look forward to your trip to NYC.  It would be great to possibly get together to do some hunting (at some of the local Toys R Us's   ;D),   and most definitely to hang out at my place geekin' out with the collection.

I'm so glad to hear you are renting a truck so that you can bring home the giant Sandcrawler that's here.

I just wanted to advise  you to make sure the truck is EXTRA, EXTRA large.  You see, not only is the Sandcrawler really large,  but you'll also need space for carrying the coffin.

You know... the coffin that will carry my dead body ... my dead body over which you'll be able to take the crawler... or custom BOBA!    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

LOL. Let me know when you go to pick up the Sandcrawler, that would definitely make for some front page news.
