I revisited my Republic Commandos today and did a repaint and some modifications.  First, the figure was repainted in a Halo-esque green. I know some people don't like the RCs because they say the look too much like Halo armor but I say... so? ;)  I also cut out the visor and added blue semi-transparent plastic in order to give it better depth and have a reflective look.  And, I modified a DC17 and turned it into a sniper rifle. He's probably not finished as I have some decals on order and I'm sure I'll mess with him some more but here he is for now...

Thanks, guys.

Two things I forgot to mention...  The helmet is a cast that I'm pretty sure I got from Clint.  So, there is a real clone head under there.  With the flash from the camera  and from a certain angle without it you can make out his eyes and nose.   Also, the barrel for the rifle is removable and stores in the clones backpack.  Didn't get any pics of that, though.

EDIT : Put up 2 more pics showing helmet removed and placement of removable barrel.

Thanks Rich.  The green, in case anyone is wondering is Games Workshop "Catachan Green". The rifle was modified using some GI Joe weapons.  Not sure where they were from.  I plan on giving him maybe 2 more barrels to use with it.

I'll be placing an order soon.  I need to set this squad up with some clone wars pistols and some pouches.  Maybe some backpacks, too. I'll be PMing you at some point soon.

Just let me know. I forgot to ask, where did the decals come from? Are they decals?

Yes, they are decals but I'm not sure where they are from.  I have a box of stickers and whatnot and I just throw them in there from models etc... so I don't remember.  I plan on picking up some of those Warhammer decals that Jay uses  so nicely on his clones, though.

Those are nice. I wonder if they have different scales available. I am looking for some that are pretty small for my figures.
The two space marine sheets that Jay sent me are pretty cool but alot of them are a bit large for where I want to put em.
