I tear up a vehicle, weather it acording to your scene(ex: hoth wite and black), and put it in the scene you want it

if you don't want your viechle to be destroyed , use one of the veichles with removable parts

I would probably place the vehicle or vehicle bits and figure out where you want everything to lay and then start building the groundwork in a way that will allow you to mount your pieces. I would either pin em to or tie them to and through the groundwork.
