I'm not sure about the internal mechanics of the longshot but if they are anything like my two larger guns you'll have to take the gun completely apart and take out the bolt that moves back and forth that holds each dart into place.  It has a little peg in the center of it that inserts into each dart, you need a long drill bit that will reach through the front or back of the tube to drill out that peg and hollow it out...

look up longshot cs-6 mods on youtube and you should find a few video tutorials explaining the process.

I would love the embed code to this. I can't get on youtube due to a work firewall, but at least could code it and get it on the front page and watch it when I get home!

worst thing is I have no software to edit it with.  It records in quicktime's MOV format... of course windows movie maker doesn't recognize that...
The camera came with a conversion software but when I converted the video the audio is distorted and it creates a buzz (which I thought was my ears ringing until I turned off the video!)
So I can upload the video strait from the camera onto youtube but I can't edit mistakes out or put more footage together until I find a better conversion software or an editor that will edit MOV files.

Spud, we picked up the IX-2 at a TRU Express last night - sawed off double-barrel Nerf gun!  Brendan will be repainting it to use as a side-arm on his slowly-progressing Mando costume.

And I think I may want *me* one...  ;D
