Jenki's Custom Vehicles
« on: August 30, 2010, 06:11:24 AM »
Shadow Gunship (repaint)

Blue Delta (repaint)

ATT Tank (webbing for additional cargo, in this its the full set of E-web including the power pack)

Transport Speeder (combined Power Team Elite assault boat with Flash Speeder)

212th AT-RT (repaint)

Cannon Bike (added cannon from AOTC)

Gunship Mods
Pic 1: Forward Cannons now joined to gunship with revoltech joints, giving it 360 degrees rotation and roughly more than 180 degrees elevation
Pic 2: Cannon Bike harnessed onto gunship side-doors
Pic 3: Safety Rail connected to gunship via double-jointed revoltech joints. The safety rail can be lowered to become a stepping platform or additional space for passengers to sit on. Holes on the bench also allows additional cargo to be harnessed on it.

Defender Airspeeder (Cobra Gunship repaint + cannon upgrade)
Repainted in matte white, with its cannon removed and replaced with a longer one, and connected with revoltech double-joints, giving it almost 270 degrees of elevation

Assault Skiff MK-1 (Skiff with E-web cannon)

Assault Skiff MK-2
Additional dual cannon with seat from GI Joe PIT HQ, and a particle cannon adapted from GI Joe accessories

Assault Skiff MK-3
Removed centre turret (which had no elevation) in favour of additional stowage space. Cargo bags are sewed together from felt from art shop. The rope thing are garters, leftover from my conscript days (i bought extra cause i kept losing them)

I really like those gunship mods!

Stowing the speeder on the door to give the troops more room is a great idea.

I also really like the safety rail that you added.

What are revoltech joints?

Lastly, I really like that  assault skiff.  Especially with the extra stowage.

Nice work

revoltech's a japanese toy brand, they make figures from all kinds of stuff, zoids, anime, even batman and all the joints use this revoltech joint, which you can buy separately from the link above. Search for "revoltech part", there's a few variants, and all you need to do is to drill a small hole to use it.

Wow, found your figure update and now this. Thanks for sending word about those revoltech joints. I have a feeling we will be seeing a few others using these in the near future.

Good lord Jenks, you are going to have to post your work more often. That way, I wont have such a problem picking my jay up off of the floor. Man, this stuff is great! I love your simple repaints but those added mods are truly inspiring.

thanks guys~ its the term break now, so i got the camera out to snap up all these shots.. i've only picked up painting bits a few months back from a model kit store owner, its all done by brush since i haven got around to getting an airbrush set yet.

yar those revoltech joints rocks, i didnt put up the photo, but i actually used it on my saber tank so that the top turret has elevation rather than just swivel only. i think they will come in handy when attaching gi-joe cannon accessories or those large firing weapons onto vehicles

Or large grasper arms...too bad all of them are listed as "backorder"!

I love the CAP-2 mod the most, I think, with the ROC Gunship close behind it.
