No Boom Boom's Customs
« on: August 18, 2013, 07:40:25 AM »
Here is my bounty hunter:

Here are some other angles:

Here are his weapons and equipment:

Here he is in his spacesuit:

Here he is in the cockpit of his ship (I imagine all of his instrumentation is "holograms").  As you can see, it's a tight fit:

Here he is as seen through the forward viewing port:

Here he is taking a peek from the dorsal hatch:

Here are some more customs, all of varying degrees of complexity.  These first two are Wookiee mercenaries:

This next one is a Wookiee smuggler:

Here are two Chagrians.  One is a gambler, and the other is a Starliner captain:

Two Gungans.  The armed Gungan has a Naboo pistol, taken with him from his homeworld:

Here are an assortment of other customs:

Here is a Mirialan "farmer" I made out of an old GI Joe Hit & Run figure and leftover parts.

Here are some Quarren.  The first one was kind of a quick and dirty custom; I just gave him Mas Amedda's outer cape.  He is a wealthy merchant, I would say.  The second one I imagine to be his bodyguard.  The ceremonial trident, I imagine, would be used for intimidation and maybe nonlethal purposes.  The holstered ELG-3A blaster pistol would be used when deadly force is needed.  You know, like the Swiss Guard.

Here are two more aliens.  I replaced the horned alien's arms with Jango Fett's so that he would have more articulation.  I also shaved a little bit of Jango's purple shirt and glued it between the open flap on the alien's tunic.  You know, to make like he's wearing it underneath his white tunic.  The other alien is a Lasat.  I don't think they're really supposed to be that tall, but neither are humans.  Maybe he's a Lasat basketball player.

Should I post pictures of the bounty hunter's ship here, or start a new thread in the customs section for vehicles?
Soul brother too beaucoup...

Hi there No Boom Boom!

If this is your first post welcome!

The bounty hunters in your first set of images look great! I particularly like the colour co-ordinations and the weapons loadout, the poses look wonderful.

An excellent set of customs and a great contribution to the forum

You've got some nice-looking customs here!  I like the 2nd Wookiee down; the sandstorm Chewie is a nice figure to use as it's a slightly different look with the foot bandage and all.  The Nautolan head and hand swap on the Rohlan Dyre body worked out nicely too.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Wowzers what a first post! So many great figures to take in at one time. Love the kit bashing and parts swaps you are doing. Really love the spacer made from Captain Ace with the helmet. Do you plan to paint some of these? Welcome to the yards!
