(Beginning December 10): Star Wars Toyscapes: The Netherworld!
« on: October 14, 2014, 11:45:45 PM »
DECEMBER 10 2014:
THE NETHERWORLD (SPECIAL EDITION)
Originally completed earlier this year, this photostory has been extensively reworked and given a new page format to match HERALD OF DESTINY and BRAIN OF THE ARK. It is set concurrently with BRAIN, explaining Chewbacca's absence. THE NETHERWORLD sends Ambassador Leia Organa, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker and General Han Solo on a surreal quest to the Polares, two planets that frame a growing rift in the Cosmic Force. Their journey begins with a visitation from a little green friend thought long dead...

THE NETHERWORLD is the first in a saga that takes us far beyond RETURN OF THE JEDI, spanning the decades bridging the death of EMPEROR PALPATINE and the murky future yet to be revealed by THE FORCE AWAKENS.

Me too, especially as it's more or less finished hahaha :) In its original format (four photos to a page) it ran for 36 episodes, so be interesting to learn how it edits down into the revised format of one photo per page. A small number of photos require reshooting because they are blurred. Irked me since they were of a dramatic lightsabre duel and looked fine on the camera monitor but came out rather shoddily and it was too late to reshoot them (the set had been dismantled).

The Netherworld's chiefly concerned with the ramifications of an imbalance in the Cosmic Force. The next photostory after it is called Battle For Capital ... not settled on the fine details, but it concerns the state of play between the Galactic Republic and the Empire approx 10 years after Endor, and shenanigans among the high command elements of both factions who are worn down by endless conflict and are considering all kinds of options, some extreme, in order to save what remains of a nearly bankrupted galactic civilisation from a new dark age.

Thank you kindly! Episode One steady on course for December 10, and the rest of the story is practically finished except for some new Photoshop enhancements. I think it's a lot of fun and hope you fine gentlebeings enjoy it too (and look out for The Force Awakens Easter Eggs in later episodes!).
