any chance you could post a wip or two when you start puting it together?

Of course.   :)

By the way Spud, posted a new video on my channel and towards the end I show the T-wing if your interested.

Dang, that Royal Guard Interceptor makes me want to buy another 3-3/4" interceptor and paint it red! I would try that on a Action fleet but those are too hard to come by.

The Royal Guard Interceptor and Blue A-wing are almost done, but I decided to take a break and do some X-wing work. Finally touched up Hobbie's Red Four X-wing and added some weathering to it. This is my first vehicle I've ever weathered (although I've practiced on some spares). I think it came out good but I'll leave that up to you guys.   :)

Someone asked me on youtube why I chose Hobbie for my Red Four custom, as opposed to someone else like Wes Janson. My reason is because Hobbie always seems to be given the number 4 in a squadron. Rogue Four at Hoth, Red Four at Endor, Red Four again in the Starfighters of Adumar book, etc. Plus it gave me an excuse to weather it and make it look battle weary, as Hobbie is always crashing whatever ship he touches lol. Hobbie has the same helmet as Gold Leader, so instead of a Gold Leader figure, a B-wing pilot figure was used for Hobbie. The B-wing pilot has the same helmet as Gold Leader, but the B-wing pilot is a no-name pilot.

Sometimes I think I research stuff too much..

Enjoy!

Gold Leader, you've done an excellent job...there is something about X-Wings, they're bloody hard to get right and you've done it perfectly first time.

Excellent.

Dave this weathered Red Rour ROCKS! Ilove the pilot as well, just wondering if he really had a white and purple R2? I wish we had more references for this. Great job man!

Thanks guys.

Luke, as far as I know it's unknown what color droid Hobbie has so i just gave him the basic black & white droid.

Ah, ok Dave. I was hoping you knew something I didn't about his astroHe looked kinda purple in the pics. I may have to go with you on this one, I just finished a casual gear Hobbie and I might give him my white with black details astro. I gave him the designation R2-C5.

Just a small update, the list on page 1 has been updated, and added a new custom for the Rebels.

Knocked out another custom tonight. I redid the Royal Guard TIE Interceptor (based off Titanium variant). This time I spray painted the whole thing red, added the white markings, gave the engine some color and repainted the panels black.

List on page 1 has been updated again as well.
