custom stand for your Eta-2 Actis Jedi StarfighterHere you have a construction guidance for your own Jedi Starfighter stand.
tools/materials:*a wood plate about 5mm thick
*wood sticks diameter 12 and 14mm
*saw
*wood glue
*sandpaper
*electric drill with drills diameter 1,5mm, 12mm and 14mm
*set square, pencil and compass
*wire (cut it to a length of 45mm)
*and two cotton bud pieces (both with a length of 15mm)
workflow:1.) cut two wood sticks (12mm diameter) to a length of 85mm
2.) cut a 5x5mm clearance in both sticks
3.) after that you need a wood stick with a length of 65mm and a diameter of 14mm
4.) cut a 8x10mm clearance in this stick and drill a hole (1,5mm) below the clearance
5.) now put the wire through this hole and bend it a little bit after that put the cotton bud pieces over the wire
6.) cut two discs out of the 5mm wood plate. One with a diameter of 165mm and one with a diameter of 175mm.
7.) stick the discs together
8.) now drill three holes in the discs. One with a diameter of 14mm and two with a diameter of 12mm.
9.) the last parts are two little attachment parts also made of wood
10.) now you can stick all single parts together
11.) the last step is to paint the stand. I made for example a stand for Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter
Some pics are made with Unigraphics NX4. If you have questions fell free to post.
I made also a YouTube vid with more information:
