Hi Ron, I've been "out-of-loop" for a few weeks. That Indy dio is really wonderful. Brilliant repaints!

Hi All,

Indy on horseback ROTLA 6" scale.

Recipe.

Indy/horse - the figure is from Hasbro's Indy Adventure Series, and I posed him and then glued the joints and then puttied the joints and he was painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastels chalk.
The blanket was done by using an hanky and cut to size and then hand painted and the horse is Breyer and I painted him light grey and then dry brushed with matt white.
The saddle/bridle/reins were made using leather, the stirrups are resin and the o-rings are metal and I got them from the local craft store.

Base - is made from balsa wood and the groundwork is a mix of sand/kitty litter and Vallejo Iraqi sand and the sign was printed of the net.

That's excellent, Ron. Great use of a Breyer horse, and the "hanky" for saddle blanket is a great idea.

Very cool. Now I wonder if Indy had a hard time adjusting to different saddles. Im sure he was used to western. But anyways. Great job! Great quality as always.

Hi All,

Club Obi Wan, Temple of Doom, 1:12 scale.

Recipe.

Diorama - the building is a 3D PLA kit from In Print Condition https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100065277600673 and I got it printed from Syndicate Custom  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082987609768 and it comes in pieces so there is a little sanding and then gluing.
I painted with Vallejo paints, the tassels on the lantern are just pieces of string and dyed in red paint. The plants in the pots are from Woodland Scenics and posters I printed off the net and the frame work is made from plastic strip.
