great WIP pics Lamb!! nice crisp lines on them triangles mate and that teaser shot of the 501st TT looks awesome so far, looking forward to seeing how they all come out...

P.S.  pay no mind to that backstory comment, it's better then what i could ever come up with, it's a shame some people can not appreciate what others are doing,
its his first post and a nice way to say hello with an insult!! J.A!!!

Thanks CC and Clonehead. i don't really mind as everyones entitled to their opinion. He probably doesn't know that here at the Shipyards we have constructive criticism and we all try to support each other. I did my research and tried to tie in a figure that i made into real events which happened in the Star Wars universe. The turbo tank is a huge job though, and has taken ages so far!!

Is that burnt orange?

Actually its blood red!! The colour came out as very orange on the camera

Hope you took no offense in that.

I too would like too see the true light pics.

I'll bet that TT is a big task. It's looking great so far, though.

Hey everyone.
Got the scorpion green i needed and i managed to finish these customs early this morning. The photoshoot is what took longest. Its like gale force winds just had to turn up when i was setting up outside!! I have to say, i 'borrowed' some ideas from Fiala when making these customs. I've always loved his firestorm troopers!! And the base is so fiala too!! Thanks for the inspiration man!!

Here's the backstory.

E.O.D.S.T (Elite Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) were deployed late in the clone wars after the conclusion of the Battle of Coruscant. Jumping from low orbiting Cruisers, E.O.D.S.T's used small modified jet packs to control their altitude and speed, whilst a special breathing device supplied them with air whilst in the troposphere. Armed with ARC casters, these troops could easily take out 4 droid targets when the gun was fully charged. These troopers saw great use in the battle of Utapau, where they easily manoeuvred themselves into the sinkholes and engaged droid forces on landing platforms. Commonly mistaken with Jet Troopers, E.O.D.S.T's had a greater level of training, highly modified armour and jet packs and a much powerful gun. At the conclusion of the clone wars these troopers were phased out and eventually evolved into Phase Zero Dark Troopers. Leading the E.O.D.S.T's is Commander Remat, who rather than jumping with his legion, prefers to land and engage the enemy after his troops have cleared the way.

Here's some clanker smashing action!!

Hope you guys like em!!

Great photos mate and the custom figures look awesome. I love how the commander doesn't jump and prefers to land in a ship. LoL  :)

great figures.  I like em!
I especially love the paint, very nice apps.  I love the paterns, and the distinction of the commander with his pauldron.

I do have one issue though, the hoses look too much like they are just glued to the front of the helmets... I suggest that you get a small pin sized drill bit and drill a couple recieving holes in the helmets for the hoses and make it look more like they are going strait into the helmet itself.

the jetpacks look great, great use of the rocket firing attachments that came with the super battle droids.

Those EODST figures look great.  Seems like they would be fun to make.  I like the paint scheme and the markings the most.  The lines are crisp and there some nice accent details.  If this were a Hasbro product, it would certainly sell.

These are very well done my friend. Great paint aps and color scheme. They are very crisp looking and better than factory fresh. The stand and back story are awesome as well. The only thing that looks a bit off is the length of the air hoses. Shorten them up a bit and these guys will look a bit better to me. Still great customs though.
