Good ole Amazon still shipping awful. If anyone has any luck with em you do Philipp!

That's right, that's why I gave them another shot in the hope that they'd ship my order in a box not an envelope this time. But guess what! Same 'ole envelope again!
Against all odd all 3 items arrived in great condition this time! Sometimes all it needs is a second chance. And now I'm a happy nedry once more...

It looked bad from the outside, but I got lucky this time!
- Dennis Nedry: 24,60€
- Zia & Triceratops: 7,99€
CD: 5,99€

On the left is today's arrival compared to the first damaged shipment, which I opened now!

Meanwhile Mr Nedry dropped again by a few more cents:

It's interesting that it's listed with a MRSP of 25,05€ whereas the actual MRSP here in Germany is 34,99€...

Well I am glad it worked out for you. I remember trying that with the gonk droids until I finally just gave up. At least they didn't just slap a label on the figure itself and send it or in a regular envelope.

Okay, I just pre-ordered one and it's going to be delivered on December 3, 2021. 19,49€ ($23) per figure is very steep, but still much better than $150 for the pack on feebay.

And Hasbro announced through fan channel(s) that there will be more units available for North America in early 2022.

A couple days ago I got an e-mail from Amazon.de that there's a delay for this set. It's not arriving in December 2021 anymore. Instead, the new approx. delivery date is January 19, 2022.
So don't worry, Europe won't get these sets earlier than the U.S.

Sounds almost as great as my news, Tamer! Amazon cancelled 4 of my pre-orders without letting me know. I mean they could've at least sent me an e-mail!

Amazon silently cancels pre-orders after months of waiting, but what's even more concerning is that they don't care anymore if I'm happy or not with their behavior...

When I pre-ordered these items, I kept my hopes low that I'd actually receive them. But Amazon had them online for weeks and even prices went up and down. After Amazon UK offered them on the German Marketplace, Amazon Germany offered them a few weeks later. I don't know what the deal is with the AT-ST Raider. But looking at the eBay prices, I can only pray for a second run similar to Boba Fett's Slave I.

So I had to find out for myself that my orders are no longer coming. They were suddenly gone and it took a little of looking around 'til I found the section "cancelled orders" on my account.
No notification, no nothing. Therefore I contacted their customer service and first they claimed to have cancelled my orders because my credit card doesn't exist anymore. I said that's true, but in past orders I could just switch bank accounts and received my items anyway. So that was just a lazy excuse. Then I asked if ANY of the pre-ordered items shipped recently. No answer.
Then the dude in the chat kinda admitted that they had difficulties getting the items and I told him that I believe him because Hasbro sent the stuff out once and then they're gone.
Mattel seem to do it differently and make their products available MUCH longer. Hasbro only have a short time window. I mean even TungHori has his trouble getting the latest figures...

The joke is on me and what's even more funny is that it's still up for pre-order, but not for 67€. It's 89,99€ now! I ordered it AGAIN!

https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B07MVLX2T6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That's the news folks! Amazon don't give a damn about customer satisfaction in Germany anymore. I asked for a gift card just to provoke, but I was told that's not possible here - only in the U.S.

So thanks for nothing and have a nice day. I'll contact Hasbro next. Cheers!

You'll notice the price difference of 90 bucks if the pack-in figure is missing...

Man that stinks. And not even a notification at all? That is a butt move if you ask me.

And now it is back up at a higher price? Sounds pretty sketchy to me.

This is one item that is still on my bucket list to get minty. Might never get one. It is what it is.

Off to share your story on the front pages.

It does! And I told the guy that I could've gotten my stuff elsewhere in the meantime! I mean I had been waiting for a shipping date since June. And last week was the most recent chance for me to get this AT-ST loose without figure for 90€ shipped. But he didn't give a Bantha podoo!
I'm slightly disappointed by Amazon and try to avoid buying from them. 8 years ago I ordered A LOT there, but it's become less and less. They've probably noticed and they don't need me as customer, either! Let's face it. There are billions more. And Jeff already reaches for the stars and appears to be absent already.

Yeah amazon has us now so they know they can do things like this and it won't matter.

I won't order anything collectible from them unless I am ready to go through with the damaged packages ordeal. Which means mostly never for them.

Amazon apparently don't care about be as a long and uncomplicated customer. So as soon as my last order is complete, I'm going to delete my account and will never buy Amazon again.
They don't need my money anymore. There are billions other customers.

Living in a very rural area like I do Amazon has gotten a good hold of my family. It is just so much more convenient and its nice to stay out of stores with covid and now omnicron or whatever it is.

I agree with you though. I feel I would be better off sometimes without em. I won't use for anything I want good carded, not unless its a great deal.

These are good points, Shawn and I'm thankful for all the convenience and incredible service of today.

I'm going to leave it and will adapt to lower standards and less convenience. I'm out.

Oh trust me I get it. I would love to boycott them too. I think my family would disown me.

Amazon is one of the bad ones, Shawn. Evil
Best to stay away.

I havent actually shopped at Amazon in some time. Years, it feels like it’s going on a couple. Probably missed a cool exclusive in there or two. The better “flash” deals on stuff I look at just kind of went away.

I agree, that's why I don't want to be one of Amazon's customers any longer.

Today I received the notification that all 3 of my orders were cancelled because my credit card expired. My bad! At the beginning of the year, it was no problem to just change bank accounts to take my money, but now they just cancel everything. Cancel culture must taste good.
As I said they don't need my money anymore.

I had ordered the Bad Batch 4-Pack from Amazon Germany, Spain and France. It was cheapest in Spain and shipping was just 4€ or so. BUT now I don't get a single one of them.

A friend of mine received a notification today that his 2 packs are going to ship on Monday. So good news for all UK fans & collectors out there!

This is interesting also because it was actually going to ship on January 19, 2022. And in the U.S. it was delayed 'til March 2022 as far as I know.
