Thanks to everyone who's read and commented on it thus far.  I had plenty of time last night to work on it for once, and it really rolled out easily enough.  I'm thinking 3-5 more chapters to finish off this particular story, and then it's on to plan my very own with my very own world and characters.  Of course, I still have plans to turn this story into a trilogy, but that's awhile off yet.

Thanks, Warthog!  I hope to try and get another chapter done tonight, but we'll see what happens.

Pat, in a word..."AWESOME"... ;)

Your creative writing is becoming more consistent...consistently superb that is, this chapter was a great example of you gripping the reader and keeping them in suspense all the way through, I even felt my adrenalin start pumping as I was reading Han's escape.

I love the Stormtrooper character in this one, you have left some openings for him later on. I am intrigued as to why he didn't feel any fear...another story perhaps! You also made a couple of references to a certain member of staff here, thank you for that, and also Wraith9 crept in there...

I am now going to see if I can find any images of Switchblades ship anywhere, is it a made up designation, or is it actually a real type?

As usual you have painted a wonderful picture in words, it's like a mirror into the Star Wars Universe and I can't wait for the continuation.

Jules

Jules, thanks for your review!  I hadn't given any thought to the Stormtrooper's reasons for being fearless, and Smashbolt's new ship is indeed a real designation, which I believe you found on your own.  Wookieepedia gets a lot of site views from me when I write!  Thanks for "Hangarbaying" me as well!  I love the look of the Sith Assassin in there.  I hadn't thought to give her any tattoos like that, but I think that really adds an element to her fearsomeness!
