Nice review! I really should pick more of these up. I like Iron Man, though he's never really been my favorite, so once I have one, I feel I have enough. Still, they would make for some pretty sweet customs here and there.

something to add here is that in an extra stroke of genious hasbro cast the holographic iron man in black light reactive plastic. So put a black light on your display and your left with a truly sweet looking holographic effect.

Spud, that was by accident, I'm sure!!
Zed, great review of the set! Some of the Iron Man figures are a lot of fun - my son and I each got a carded Hulkbuster - for this die-hard unhero'd overaged kid. I happen to love the first War Machine mold (without the ball-joint mounts) , some of the bizarre variants (Deep-Sea and such), and some of the bad guys.
In this set, we agreed the HB2/IronMonger needs to be repainted into a cargo-handler droid...

Cargo handler is not a bad idea, although I have to admit he has slowly grown on me since this review, still don't think he is great, but not terrible either (then again I tend to like goofy figures anyway)
Thanks everyone for the kind words.

.... or buy a snake armor and use the body of the monger-buster to make a "super cobra snake armor" that actually works...
I also wished they hadn't put this figure in this set. The WM and holo-IM was what compelled me to buy it. since the pack is entitled "proving grounds" I think it would have made more sense to put in the Mark I or II armor, or come up with another "conceptual prototype" armor.
