@ Ghostskull: glad you like the figure! I really had fun thinking about the back story and how best to create your likeness in the Star Wars Universe. Since you asked if I could sell you the figure--and this goes for everyone--I am using pieces from my own collection (not fodder) to create these customs, so they're designed not to be permanent (think legos). That's not to say though that I cannot create one for you if you feel you absolutely must have it. To do that I'd need to buy all new versions of the figures used in the piece, plus any pieces I did fabricate from fodder, and shipping. I would make the figure for you at absolutely no profit to myself. PM me if you simply cannot live without it. I can also give you the recipe if you want to create your own without me having to do a lot of leg work
@ Ironhide: Thanks! Glad you're digging the figures too! Haven't seen you on the boards yet, so welcome welcome! Can't wait to see customs of your own! If you have a thread up, please by all means point me to it so I can see your works!
@Baobab: Thank you sir! I'd definitely like to do one for you if you'd like! Let me know what your specs are
@Spry: Thanks! Glad your enjoying the figures! I still think yours was one of my favorites to create. Something about zany hermit jedi building droids in junk yards that really tickles my fancy haha.
@Hanns: Thanks! Yours is up now in all its glory!
@Phatty: Ah "Hasbro-fresh" a very high mark indeed! And a great term! I must steal it. Hopefully by now you've seen your own figure up in all his glory. I really like how Solarr Faat'ee came out! Definitely fits right in with the Clone Wars era jedi.
@Botwt: Awesome! So thrilled you like it! I was a bit worried as the body i chose was a bit skinny looking, but I think it lends to his spookiness. Like how Dracula is tall and slender... something freaky about gangly folks haha. The high collared cowl really gave me a Dune feeling, like Doctor Yueh or Doctor Smith from Lost In Space. He also looks a bit smug and proud of himself... definitely devious. It's a very obscure head, comes from the 30th Anniversary Collection Naboo Soldier figure. It does look a bit like Dr. Hank McCoy in human form (you did mean X-Men right?). Or did you mean Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy from Star Trek? Either way, awesome!
@SithHappens: Thanks brother! Really enjoying this project! having a blast!
@Jedi Minstrel: Thanks! Let me know when you want yours
Please keep the requests coming! This is definitely my new favorite project! Please note for you Jedi and Sith out there, I do not have all my Jedi and Sith figures with me at this time, most of them are still in storage so please be patient as I will eventually get them and be able to do more interesting Jedi/Sith custom figure portraits.
Woo! What a rush! Can't wait to start on Jenny's smuggler figure!
Stay tuned!
