For a bit more than $2000 you can get a 1:1 Vader or Stormtrooper armor on mannequin and will be more accurate and impressive than any scaled statue with lights or not. CM statues are cool, I was looking at their Terminator Endoskeleton and Predator but still not think they worth $2000 or more. The CM Endo has a very effeminate pose, their Pred is impressive but not quite accurate, and CM Vader is more accurate, but looks like dancing baroque minuet.

I thought the same thing Serg. I could get a real suit I could wear for that!

Exactly. They are 1:3 size, an accurate Stormtrooper armor could be get for $500 add a mannequin and the other things like undersuit, blaster, boots, gloves etc. and you have a mire impressive display that a simple statue. With Vader would be a bit harder to get all the parts but still...

I don't understand how they think they can get those prices in today's economy. If I had two thousand I could just drop on SW it would be something like you mentioned. I think the only thing I would be willing now to entertain would be an MR Walker other than a full suit.

Trust me there are quite a few CM fans that will drop $2000 on these easily. These are the collectors who collect CM and not really movie themes. There are even non-SW fans who will get Vader only because it is CM, the same with Superman, POTC, Terminator, Alien, Predator, Indy and so on.

Even now when people come into my house they look at a few things being impressed by: SDS life-size Stormtrooper, SS 1:1 Vader bust and eFX/MR helmets, MR AT-AT, Endo busts. They like smaller statues and stuff too but the large items take their eyes instantly, and even for SW fans.
