This is a really nice group shot!

Great execution with paint apps and accessories!

What pieces did you use for the droid ordinance diffusers/treads?

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Really enjoying your updates man! The bomb squad is, well, the bomb! I really love the droids you have included as they tie this group together and make them better. Very well thought out and great execution.

The JK droids are actually GI Joe accessories I found on a Joes-for-sale website.  I do build my own droids from time to time, but these were a perfect fit...I think they were from a bomb-removal Joe.

More Clones!  I started off just doing clones and Mandos...but I've started to branch out to Sith, Jedi and droids.  Those will come later.

Are those soft good pauldrons? I don't think I have ever seen that!

I like them a good bit.

Thanks, guys!  Yes, they are soft goods pauldrons/kamas.  No, it isn't craft foam...it's actually some sort of cloth material I picked up @ a sewing shop.  I searched FOREVER for a type that had an "animal hide" texture to it (so it can be bantha/rancor/tauntaun leather or whatever).  I'm happy with the find.  The texture really stands out when it's painted.

Well I sure would love to know more about that material like what it is called and where to find some!

This new  update is also on the front page.

Me, too;  I've seen and used the material before, for insulating outlets, but never thought to shape it for customizing.  Great idea!

Ooo, I like that coloration on those clones. Light blue and white just look... delicious. Not quite how one often describes clone armor, but that's what comes to mind. I must be thinking of Culver's or something. :D
