Finally, some finished pieces as well. These figures represent mash-ups of several franchises (Star Wars, Star Trek, Aliens):
Samuel and Isaiah Sisko, Mando Xenomorph Hunters. The brothers Sisko have been hunting Xenos for far longer than they can remember. Samuel is the elder of the two, by ten years. When he was 14, his life was destroyed. Both their parents were stationed aboard the
USS Cloudrunner, a Starfleet deep-space exploration vessel. They came across a damaged mining vessel (secretly harboring xenomorphs) and broadcasting a looped distress signal for warp core breach. The Captain of the
Cloudrunner ordered survivors to be beamed directly into sick bay, overriding safety protocols. 17 of the rescued 23 crew members of the mining vessel were harboring xenomorphs. The outbreak was disasterous. The entire ship was lost, as the Captain ordered the ship to activate self-destruct. Samuel and Isaiah were the only survivors, as their mother placed them in an escape pod, directly against her Captain's orders. All hands had been ordered to remain on board, in a desperate attempt to halt the xeno infestation of any where the crew members might end up. The brothers Sisko were adrift in the escape pod for 13 days, until they were picked up by a Mandalorian warbarge, returning to Mandalore from a campaign in the Re'dho Sector. As is commonplace with Mandos, they were adopted by Clan Redblade, and taught the ways of warriors. Samuel, who was old enough to remember the horror of the Xenomorph attack, leads his brother on a never-ending quest to rid the galaxy of the "bugs" that still haunt his nightmares. Samuel and Isaiah wear modified armor, based on Samuel's design. The chest pieces incorporate several Xenomorph pheremone synthasizers effectively rendering them invisible to the bugs.
Samuel has painted his armor to honor their father, the
Cloudrunner's Chief Engineer, in Starfleet Gold. Isaiah's armor honors their mother, ship's First Officer, in Starfleet Red.
That's all for now. Thanks for tuning in!
