The Imperial Shipyards Win a Resin-Cast parts set Contest
« on: May 13, 2009, 04:00:18 PM »
The parts are together and the time is here to announce and initiate another contest!
This is the Win a Resin-Cast parts set Contest.
The prize is this set of customizing resin-cast parts  that totals 15 pieces, most of which are taken from the sets that I sell on Ebay. Two pieces, however, are special in that they were both modified by combining parts of one resin-cast helmet with another. These two have never been offered before with the exception of one that I had made versions of for a couple of figures, two years ago.

Up for grabs is a set of 15 resin-cast parts that include the following:

1 AOTC clone pilot hollow helmet
1 Biker Scout hollow helmet from the assault on the shield generator battle pack.
1 AOTC clone trooper hollow helmet.
1 FU nubbed evo trooper helmet
1 Galactic Marine helmet
1 Galactic marine backpack
1 sandtrooper ammo pouch
1 clone wars Cody helmet
1Clone wars Cody human head
1 Galactic Marine human head
2 resin-cast neck nubs for mounting of the human heads
1 Clone Wars Rex pistol
1 Modded helmet: hollow ROTS Cody with the top from a hollow AOTC clone helmet.
1 Modded helmet: Hollow Gen veers helmet with face from Galactic Marine helmet.

And now, here are the rules...........................

Only registered members of the yards can enter this contest.
Contest begins as soon as I complete this post and runs till the 1st of  June.
Shipyards MODs and Admin are not eligible to compete.

To submit your entry into the contest, Each shipyard member must post a picture with the words and letters spelling "IMPERIALSHIPYARDS.NET" , in some interesting fashion.
You could pose in your Darth Maul costume holding up a sign with the site name in an interesting place or, you could spell out the words using action figures. Heck, you can even carve the letters using a lawn mower and spell it out on your lawn.

Do not take any unnecessary risks while getting your pic, folks. Try not to get arrested while getting your pic. Most importantly, don't post any lewd or suggestive pics for an entry. "I don't want to see an imperialshipyards.net tramp stamp wrote above somebody's bare butt or anything like that"

As in the last contest only one post per contestant, please. You may edit an already existing post if you like.
Also, as in the last contest, after the last day, June 1st, Myself and the other Admin will judge your entries and decide who is the winner.

The winner will be informed here, and by way of PM and I will ship the winner his or her prize.
Sound like something to compete for?
Let's do it!!

From a site promotional standpoint, it would be nice were it in english.
Being as we have several members from different countries I guess we shouldn't be picky but I can see what you are getting at, Doc.

I figured someone would consider it. You didn't already shave your butt for the occasion prior to reading the rules, did you, Alex? 8)

Daggone, more great stuff. Sweet deal. Still chuckling over the specific warning disclaimers on this one! Good luck Yarders.

So would this be an entry?

Hehe, what I mean, are they meant to be serious, promotional, or humorous, what are we going for here, :)

I mean, a new banner?

Narceron, that's beutiful!! Yes, we did leave it wide open and photoshopped pics are included.
Nice entry, buddy! That will certainly work.

alright, Simon, how many entries are you going to submit? It's not like you have alot of competiters, right now.

I think that you should go with the first one.

Is that your entry, Sten? I don't see the site name  imperialshipyards.net in the picture.
