The Wookie Bunker - my Den
« on: November 15, 2011, 12:43:03 PM »
Here are a few pics of my den / computer room!

The figures on the wall are all part o my vintage restoration project, most of them were actually my childhood toys in the late 70s to early 80's!

You can also see my loose, modern Luke focus! I hope to add a couple of customs to this line up in the future.

On the imperial side there's a gap where my restored Kenner Imperial Troop Transporter will sit...

My standard Tie, Bomber and Int are in here - I still need an 'Advanced' though!! My modern Rebel fighters are in the bedroom along with my vintage Falcon. In one of the pics you can see my restored vintage X-Wing.

There's also some other random stuff in there like Simon and Simon carded toy cars and a set of Kenner  Centurions.

Retro gaming wise there's my modded Commodore Amiga A600, Dreamcast with keyboard and mouse, Commodore 64 with 5.25" floppy drive, SNES and multi region Saturn!!

This place is like my little bunker, safe from the outside world lol. still I'm hoping to refit my garage later next year and will move everything in there where I'll have much more room!! Then I can display my Cline Gunship, Vintage Hoth playsets, Transformers and other goodies!!!

Hope you enjoyed the pics,

Ray

Here's a couple of close up pics from my den...

First up is my vintage Kenner Star Destroyer crewed by more modern figs

Next up is a couple of Speederbikes one of which has me riding it!

Finally here's my childhood UK Palitoy X-Wing that I restored. It's had a new paint job, including the now opaque (through age) canopy and new stickers (Inc the battle damaged ones.)

The S-foils were knackered and had to be glued into place which gives them a nicer spread than the original toy provided!

WB out!

I love it , Ray! It's nice to see such a vintage focus to your collection and I love that collection of Luke's!
That collection of restored vintage carded figures is something to be proud of.

Wow, love that Luke shelf. On the front page.

Man, your mixture of modern with vintage just makes both look better imo. Your recarded collection is just awesome. I will be honest, the way these are looking I could just see me saying forget about getting a full TESB Vintage Carded Collection one day and just do these awesome recards. It brings back the same memories for me and just looks so pristine.
