« on: January 24, 2012, 06:12:05 PM »
Well frankly I think they are getting more information today than we got at SDCC! So far from what I can tell in my gleaning so far (and that ain't much as I am sicker than a dog right now) is this:

This information courtesy of Jedi News

1. MTT

2. TOR Shae Vizla

3. Galen Marek

4. Nikto Skiff Guard

Seen this stuff yesterday but was too short on time to put any of it up.
Seen this morning that they had a box image of the mtt probably at jedicouk again.
I'm working now so I can't host and post a pic but I'll see if I can find a link.

Correction, it was jeditemplearchives

I'm going to try to email you the pics, Shawn.

kind of sucks for those of you that would want the MTT that those "20 figures" it includes are all pre-positioned junky figures with the exception of I think 4?

MTT loses lots of points for the lack of useable figs (only 4) doesn't justify that $129 price tag IMO.

The only thing I am loving is the red-head bounty hunter, which is kind of how me and my ex-wfe started so you know this doesn't bode well ;-)

Zed, you crack me up at times, this being one of them.

I think I may have even heard only one of the droids is positionable and the other 19 are pre-positioned.

Lets face it, there was no way Hasbro was gonna give us 20 fully serviceable battle droids and keep the vehicle in the one hundred dollar price range. Right now the only way I would pick this up is if it goes for the clearance steals they republic attack shuttle went for over xmas. Still, if you are a prequel person this is great news. Still, I guess one would need to replace their battle droids now with the ones that fold up.

My only other worry is that if this one flops like it looks the Attack Shuttle did I hope it doesn't get rid of the BMF Vehicle Format.

everything I've read so far says 4 are older poseable BDs and the rest are static, it's saving grace might be if you can take the fake ones out and replace them with your own SA BDs

Yes, I do agree, if the poseable battle droids won't fit that will probably be a deal killer for many folks.

I would be down with this if it were $75, but according to the lists at Target it's around $129, WAYYYY too much.

The BMF format is killed (IMO) by the retail rush to clearence.  Most people will hold out a couple of months so it gets cheaper, kind of like my ex-wife too (I hope you realize I kid, but don't tell her, we just got to that point of NOT wanting to kill each other after 15 years LOL)
