Hey folks

Thanks for the interest on this thread so far! I've got my self some
Strong epoxy for the blaster builds and I'm just waiting on my paint to arrive...

The Doopy Hasbro conversion kits are great - the require minimal cleanup and fit right over the Hasbro blasters :)  you only need remove front barrel and the tip of the scope!

The DL45 was made from Blast Tech conversion kit and a full metal airsoft Mauser (I had to saw off some of the barrel) but again otherwise it was an easy build and paint job... The kits aren't the cheapest at $100 for the ESB and $200 for the ANH version.

Doopy however do kits of both as well...

I love the look of the airsoft gun.  What's the source on the Blast Tech kits?

I keep thinking I might (literally) enlarge my resin-casting operation to include prop weaponry...

I regularly carry a 1911 in .45 ACP so I have to say I prefer the feel of a heavy pistol...  Thanks for the link!

I did think about not updating this thread after the recent tragic events in the US. As someone who all to often sees the worst that humanity can do to each other it saddened me greatly. My condolences and prayers are with the families of the victims.

I've managed to get some work done on Tamers E-11 Hasbro conversion - just some weathering and varnishing to go now...













Both the LED and sound are still functioning fine - should have this puppy finished very soon! The Doopydoos kit fits like a charm...

That would have been the worst thing possible, imo.  Allowing a single possibly deranged individual that much control over the actions of everyone only empowers others to do the same.

Doc - I totally agree with you - hence the updates...and I fully recommend these kits!!

Wow, even better Ray. Gotta hand it to you this is turning out tops like I knew it would in your hands. Thanks once again for taking a crack at this. It is really turning our beautifully. It really does look like a movie prop.
