Thanks so much for the links, I might seriously make one of these. I'm not a costumer or cosplayer or anything but the project itself is just too cool. When you say varnish, you mean a clear coat?

And wreckage - yes by varnish I mean a satin clear coat over the matt black :)

Hey folks!

Excuse my absence - I've had a lat going on...

Here's an update on the two blasters that I have been working on...

This is Tamer's Hasbro E11 with the Doopydoos kit fitted. She has been primed, painted silver and black. Next up is the drybrushing before the satin varnish!





And here is my Rebel Fleet / Imp Navy Officer blaster. I've taken off the rear cocking lever, sanded down the toy safety trades and painted the base colours! Next up is drybrushing, an ink wash on the silver then a varnish coat!





Oh yes - both blasters had the screw holes filled in as well! More soon...
