And a behind the scene ANH shot where you can see the blasters they used as well:

An interesting read about a screen used E-11 blaster also known as Bapty:

If someone wants a nice Sterling for converting it into an E-11 this is an option. Even before it is released the airsoft Sterling seems to be a great success: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152167284923497&set=a.252572788496.137996.166485503496&type=1&theater

Not sure how you can cut up the mag (if at all possible to modify as an E-11 mag) or change the muzzle tip to be more accurate to the C1, and not to the regular Mk4, because this was made after the C1 (used for ROTJ E-11)

This is gonna make one cool E-11 conversion. I can hear all those 501st and prop replicas folks shouting for joy!

I'm thinking about this new Sterling airsoft, especially to make it ROTJ, but there are a few things that hold me back for now:

- the airsoft Sterling can be too expensive - we'll see soon enough
- it is not 100% accurate to either MK4 or C1, so it has to be modified anyway
- easier to change it as C1, but not sure if there is a way to remove the front muzzle part
- not sure if/how the magazine can be shortened.

I bet if any of these problems can be overcome (other than the initial price) you will do it Serg!

Even if all these small inaccuracies or glitches end up being fixed, this airsoft Sterling is just the base gun. Unlike the E-11 from ANH (and ESB) in this case the greeblies are quite different. U shaped metal strips instead of the plastic (or maybe even rubber) T-tracks, a different type of scope and scope rail, and a few other greeblies.

though I can see people who don't care too much about accuracy modifying it as ANH blaster, and I would do it too if I could afford 2 of them. We'll see. :)

Wow, that is a lot of deniro to get something you have to heavily modify to get it to anything remotely resembling movie accuracy!

Exactly. It is a cool replica, even better by being metal and airsoft, but on the other hand it needs to be modified and upgraded to become a ROTJ E-11. And indeed all this will cost quite a lot of extra dinero. For $300 I might have gone for one, but not for $500.

Original screen used Stormtrooper blaster sold for 38k

Of course they had to add the greeblies on it (though not the best ones, Hengstler seems a resin copy), but still it is screen used, or at least that is what they declare it to be:

Seems it is the old Bapty from Prop Store:

It comes with Master Replicas T-tracks:
