Wow, have to share this on our front page and Facebook! Very cool!

Can you show us how you created that light up saber?

This one turned out very nicely!  I love the soft goods, especially the trim around the edge of the kama.

The saber lighting actually looks very nice: clear at they spout of the saber, but not overly bright or gawdy-looking.  The perfect final touch to a great figure.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Man, I love that female Jedi you started your thread with, as well as that sick Mandalore figure. Are you a Tales of the Jedi fan, by chance? I mean, these two fit right in that series!

Thanks, Guys.
I'll make sure I take a few WIP pic next time I make an LED saber. Truth is I don't really feel as though I have perfected them yet. So far All I have done is cut the emitter  of the hilt and glue a 3mm LED in its place. I have found that it works best if you cut the dome of the LED so that the end is flat and glue the blade of the saber to that. I'm not really explaining this very well, but it's not that hard to do.
Here is a link to where I bought the LEDs.

Wow. Is it that obvious. Yeah, I guess I draw a lot of inspiration from the Tales of the Jedi. I like the Medieval Space vibe it has.

Dude!  So sick!  The wires actually work with the fig. Original ancient (from the Darkhorse stories) sabers had an external battery pack.  WIP shots, please!

Awesome. Hope to see more of your work inspired by that era. For me, TotJ is the real Old Republic era.

Just a repaint of the CW Spider Assassin Droid. A pretty cool figure by my estimation. I took some liberty with the eye color, opting for more of a night vision look. It would have been cool to make the eyes glow red, but with way it was constructed, there wasn't a practical way of doing it. Anyhow, Here are some pics.

This looks outstanding!  A far cry from the bland interpretation Hasbro put into their release...

Good choice on the eye color, it definitely draws interest to the head and plays off the steel color nicely.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!
