This custom really turned out well ! I think what really did it for me was was not so much the articulation or the reg soft goods , but  the inside of the cape ( Just awesome) ! I may have to try the double lined cape when i get around to doing tessek ! Fantastic job !

Stan, thank you! I don't think Hasbro would want to spend the $$ we customizers would require.  ;D

Thanks, mr.Jedi1977! That lined cape stood out so much on that costume, I just had to try and do it justice. Plus, I hadn't done a cape of that kind before so I had to give it a shot.

Next up, I'm going back to droids... Specifically, WED-9, aka; Mos Eisley treadwell (or Bantha droid).

I like the start of the Bantha droid ! I made that custom a while ago it took me a while to find something suitable for the head , i was in the sporting goods store one day  and i saw fishing bobbers that were shaped perfectly . I grabbed them quickly . Look forward to seeing your version !

Great job on the Cantina character updates. I think that your Momaw turned out really exceptional. You show a lot of care in your craft, it continues to inspire.

Getting back into making things..

I was surprised to see Hasbro's astromech pack for EE... especially Jabba's bartender.

That's an interesting paint scheme. Too bad we both got it wrong. I have an excuse in that the reference photo for the front of the droid hadn't surfaced at the time I made mine.

After a bit of a life detour, I've been trying to ease back into customizing with a few repaints.

That's inspired me to start my first real project in more than a year, I think...
Leia in Endor dress.

She'll be scaled to the proper height, have added articulation and soft goods skirt.

I saw where they kind of ripped off your paint scheme with no recognition man,... sorry to hear that.

On the bright side your stuff is still awesome, my hats off to you sir.

About the droid...  wouldn't it be cool if Hasbro did a customizing contest and the winners get to go into mass production?

Great to see you posting. I can't seem to see your previous images. Hope that is just a glitch on my computer.

Anyway off to share your latest.

Thanks for the warm welcome after having been away so long.  :D

Looks like I have to spend some time relinking photos if it's possible to edit older posts. I'll see what I can do on my lunch break since I didn't bring any figure projects to work with me today.

I've had to admit to myself I simply don't have the time to scratch build anything right now. Maybe I can find time to paint one of Hole In the Ground's newer kits. It's been sitting on my dining room table for at least a month now...
