Hey all, just thought I'd drop in and mention a few words regarding some new'ish sculpting putty that you guys may not be aware of.
Just got my order today of "ProCreate". I tried it on a few things like shoulder pads, foot armor, etc. I gotta say....this may be my go to epoxy (not even sure if it's "epoxy").
I've never used greenstuff, so I'm not sure if it's like greenstuff. My only experience is with Aves and Milliput products. So far, from the very little I've used of it, here are some things I've noticed.
* Is no where near as messy as Aves Milliput.
* Has a more plastic like feel, which is great for my kind of customs
* Takes details VERY easy. This is especially important, as I didn't have to mess around with using it much at all. I pretty much shaped it, put little details into it, and that's it. I've found Aves to be a pain to work at times.
* It's harder to work with...literally, when you mix the 2 parts, it's not soft like Aves. I know with Aves and Milliput, you need to let it sit some time to thicken up to be able to work with it, but problem with that, is that by then, it starts to lose it's stickyness so it then ends up hard to stick to plastic. Not the case with ProCreate.
I don't know how well it'll work for sculpting things like faces or other organic stuff, but so far....I'm really liking it.
Literally, in a few minutes, I mixed it and was able to put on the foot armor, should pads and leg band without any issues, no mess, and really easy. It also appears to be much smoother and plastic like.
