Is it just me, or are the pictures not loading?

I can see em. And trust me with the way my internet is working if I can see em everyone should be able too! I am having a hate hate relationship with my ISP this week.

I guess my work network was blocking the links.  I could see them just fine from home.

StarAlien70: The figures are really great, but that speeder bike is flat out amazing!  I love how it has that vintage/art deco look, like something out of the 30's or 40's.  And yet is still fits perfectly with the Star Wars old-future look ... damn, it's just cool.

Nice bike! I agree with Starchaser, that's a unique and seamless design! And it looks very starwarsy! I like it a lot! I like the driver even more!
Thanks for sharing!

Moronarama: I can load and see the pictures with no issues. And like Shawn said my internet here is not as good as it is in Dresden. The East of Germany received billions of money to build and improve the infrastructure after the reunion in 1989. The west hasn't been supported as much (by far!) since then...anyhew I hope you can see these pictures of glory now!

Thanks all for your comments, glad you like them. Here's another version of the Arbra Speeder Bike bike with Chewbacca.

"Wuuh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huurh aarrragghuuhw!"
I bet that made his eyes water!

This is a modified TBS Chewbacca. Because the legs wouldn't spread apart enough to sit astride the bike, I sliced them off and fitted pegs (from the neck joint off a 6" figure, not sure which) into the figure and dremeled sockets in the top of the legs. This allows enough side movement to sit on the bike. This version of the bike has removable panniers that are 2 backpacks from the POTF Endor Rebel Soldier. I would also like to add some extra baggage on both versions and I might put some additional foot rests for Chewbacca, as his legs are too long to fit on the existing ones.

I could so see this being the Rebel Version of the Imperial Speeder and countless different versions of it based on the need. Kind of like the Willys was in WW2.

Another good rendering of the speeder. The work you did to get the range of motion you wanted on Chewie was inspired. Thanks for sharing the process.

Thanks for all your comments, I'm glad you all like the bikes and the figure mods.
I know what you mean, Tamer, about it being adapted to suit the need. I was thinking the same thing when I was making the removable panniers version.

Anybody that follows me, will know that I don't take a lot of work in progress pics as I always forget because I get too engrossed in the making, but here's a few that I remembered to take:

Love your work. Loads of great customs in this thread. Thanks for sharing!
That work-in-progress speeder has me reevaluating some parts in the bin...

Hi all. I've not posted anything for a while (again). Here's an update on a previous Leia Organa (Scuba Diver) custom I did - New goggles and diving belt - with a Luke Skywalker (Scuba Diver) from the same Classic Marvel Star Wars comic story: "The Iskalon Effect"

Leia: Mainly from repainted TVC Aurra Sing. Arms and repainted gloves from TBS Mara Jade. Original feet cut off and replaced with articulated feet from TBS Bastila Shan. Repainted front part of head from TBS Bastila Shan, combined with back of head from POTJ Leia General.

Luke: Slightly repainted head from TBS Luke Yavin. Torso and upper arms from TAC Luke & Mara Jade Comic Pack, with modified forearms from TBS Luke Dagobah (I didn't have any other suitable forearms, so I altered these to fit in the sockets of the upper arms). Hands from TBS Jawa 2-pack with added cuffs. Legs from TBS Boxed ROTJ Luke.

Both: Rebreathers from TAC Concept Starkiller Hero. Goggles cut from World Peacekeepers Diver figures and cut out to fit a panel of clear plastic, and fitted with elastic straps. Diving belts cut from TBS Chewbacca bandolier.

More development on these to follow.

Fantastic! The parts combinations are great, and I am particularly impressed on the goggles and how you made them. Great job!
