"One of my favorite, more recent discoveries is this blue cap in the photos. It is the cap from the large sized Walmart brand Ibuprofen.
This cap will make for excellent diorama use, as either part of a larger tech device or as surface detailing on its own. It takes super glue and paint as well as most plastics do so it is ideal for model builders' needs."

"No, I have considered buying a 3d printer, but looking at the cost, and the learning curve, and knowing there's probably an end to my needs (once this big dio is complete I won't have space to build another so what would I need to print?) I looked around at what other people are making and selling and figured I could get enough of what I want that way. But I did keep some notes."

"This was just a quick repaint of some spare R2-R9 build a droid parts we had laying around the house. After getting Blue Leader's X-wing this week I had to add his droid to his ship before I hung it up from my ceiling. It feels really good to fill out my action figure collection for Rogue One."

"I started painting this commissioned rooftop dioramaaint, today I painted the bricks, cornerstones and edges. Once these had dried, I painted random brick on each of the walls and the rooftop building with a brown wash. The next step will be to start weathering the grey brickwork."
He is really getting good with these dios!

"I've spent today cutting foam and working out the overall layout of this piece. Glueing the two 6mm cell floors that I cut earlier onto a base of 20mm foam board, then adding a longer piece of 6mm foam board as the corridor floor. Glueing the wall pieces onto the outer walls and finishing for the day by cutting out the wall between the two cells.
The next step is the cut the wall which will house the cells doors and the sidewall for the second cell."
Looks like good progress to me!

"The first picture is a custom concept of J9 from my life as a teenage robot cartoon
The second picture is 3 custom mandalorians for mauls mandos
The third picture contains customs of darth traya, darth plaguies, palpatine, ki adi mundi and custom anakin.
I dedicate all these customs to my dad who recently passed away, he was my best friend and always enjoyed seeing the customs that I would make , I miss him so much an these are for him."

"I am starting work on a personal project, something I have wanted to do for quite a while but have never gotten around to doing. I am going to do build an Arkham Asylum diorama, drawing inspiration from the 2009 Arkham Asylum video game. My idea is to build 2 cells with an adjoining corridor.
I am starting with the first cell, this one will be stylised for the Riddler. Sorry, his figure has not arrived yet so, for now, Mr J is modelling for you."
I think he is off to a great start!

"Speaking of trash to treasure, I bought this 3d printed dumpster, and made a dianoga to go inside using epoxy putty and armature wire. I could have scratch built some kind of star warsy dumpster, but with this, you get the idea without explanation. Really I just need to wait for the epoxy to cure then paint. Dianoga is pretty simple to make."
Now that is pretty daggone crafty. Looks fantastic!

"Saw these today at Five Below.
Apparently, they are from some form of video game (there is a "Playstation" logo on the top corner of the card). They had all of the basic figures except for "Tigershark".
They were too cartoony for my tastes, but I was tempted by the green plant guy."

Vishar stood in the makeshift command center inside the titan drop-ship. A few scrounged screens from the Kuomo hooked up to portable generators. At the screens were gray clad imperial technicians some without their signature black caps. In the middle of the center was the familiar face of Sergeant Atter. Vishar stopped in front of him. The much older grizzled Atter turned nodding an acknowledgment to Vishar as the younger man spoke."

Hasbro to release Black Series Artillery Trooper...

"io9 has your first look at the latest figure to join the ranks of Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series action figure toy line, the yellow-accented Artillery Stormtrooper from The Mandalorian. Specifically, this Stormtrooper appeared in season two’s Chapter 14, “The Tragedy”, in which Moff Gideon’s remnant forces assaulted Din Djarin, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand on the planet Tython in order to capture poor little Grogu while he hung out trying to Force-link with any Jedi out there in the big wide galaxy that could train him.
Clocking in at around 6" tall, the Imperial Artillery Stormtrooper will be exclusive to Amazon when it releases early next year."

Much has been made of the near extinction of the Dashade species and there is an aura of mystery around them.
Here's a group shot of Shadowmark's "court". I am hoping to build a diorama of the receiving chamber in her residence, which she calls "Twilight Oasis."
