"Lanard "Star Troopers" alien bugs and parasite review:
Lanard's "Star Troooers" line is FINALLY getting a wide release in the United States after being available overseas for the last 2 years.
The items I am about to review are just part of a larger set that also contains 2 figures, a small vehicle and accessories, but I only wanted the bugs.
The bugs are quite nicely sized and scale well against 4" figures. They are made of a nice, heavy vinyl and have really nice sculpts full of all kinds of unique textures. They only feature 2 points of articulation each though."

"For a long time, I've toyed with doing a Tusken bounty hunter. Then I found a Legends character from the Dark Horse comics named Sardu Sallowe. He worked with 4-LOM and Zuckuss and survived a run in with Boba Fett. So, here is an older, more seasoned Sardu Sallowe dressed in cast off Range Trooper armor (which serves to keep him warmer on temperate to cold planets):"

"Hi All,
SAS Jeep, North Africa, 1942 - 1:35 scale.
Recipe.
Jeep - is an old kit from Tamiya and I built it straight out of the box. I replaced the two handed grips on the jerry cans with three handed grips and added equipment from bits box.
The tarps are folded tissue paper which were glued down and the netting is from Verlinden and I painted and weathered everything with Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks.
Base - is made using balsa wood and the sand is a mix of sand and spakfilla and the rocks were done using kitty litter.

"Astro Venture Mars Mission" Mars Base review:
This playset comes with a nice sized habitat, a botanical pod with "growing" plants (gimmick works EXTREMELY poorly), 2 figures and a bunch of accessories.
The habitat is scaled to the included 3" figures but works quite well for standard 3.75" figures like "Star Wars", but is less compatible with 4" figures like "Fortnite". 3.75" figures fit well at the chair and can stand inside the habitat with the lid closed, although the chair has a protusion in the front that works better with ball jointed hips than with swivel hips. 4" figures fit at the chair but cannot stand in the habitat with the lid closed without stooping a bit. There are electronic lights in the interior that are EXTREMELY bright and a small turning wheel on the underside that raises and lowers the comm antennae on the top of the habitat."
Trust me folks, that is just a small taste of a great review.

"I've been working on my modern military stuff lately. Just wrapped up some Devgru Navy Seals.
I'm now working on a Pavehawk conversion into a SOAR bird.
I've added a fuel boom, radome, FLIR camera, etc. I've also dremmeled out the windows to make way for miniguns/window frames. A lot of parts coming from 1/18 military guru Picklehaube.

"Jabba's Droid Dungeon - this was actually one of the first dioramas I made. The two torture racks and Hole in the Ground kits. At this point I had not done any figure customs and my EV-9D9 was customized since the pics were taken. You can see how that custom was made in Raylen's custom figures thread."

"On theme with my last custom figure, I made my Old Republic Jedi Knight character, Kavyne Fel. For the base, I used Figrin D'an and swapped out the neck and hands. I referenced multiple images of the Jedi in the Deceived trailer to sculpt armor over the body. For the head, I bought and repainted an Andy Lau head. As a bonus, I redid the eyes on my old Kira Carsen custom. This was a really fun one to make! Enjoy!"

"Hi All,
Panzer IV Ausf. F, 1/35 scale.
Recipe.
Tank - is from Tamiya and built straight OOB and I cut to tool lid so I could have it open. I added tools from Miniart Tank crew at work and the tarps were done using tissue paper and the Tank crew warps which are drabbed over the turret and left door hatches were done using tissue paper as well.
Base - I wanted this model on a simple nice base so I made it using balsa wood and gave it two coats of Games Workshops Agrax Earthshade.

"Experiment: I had been wondering about the army building capability of the VC Bespin Guards. The cap can be pried off, but it is very small and pretty much unusable. I painted up some old potf 2 Bespin caps to match uniform and used some fodder heads I had on hand. The cap is pictured for size comparison on a VC 120 Rebel Hoth soldier. Paints pictured were blended to match uniform color."
Looks like it works pretty awesome to me!

"Inspiration goes to Jake Jakes after I saw a repaint of this Adventure People rover. It works great for a Jawa vehicle. Although Adventure people were 3 3/4", they were very narrow and this vehicle was even tight fit for them. I couldn't really get a full size figure in it but its perfect for Jawa that aren't fortunate enough to have a Sandcrawler."

"Two customs. One is the "other" Duros from the cantina we never got. Don't remember the recipe. He's got a soft goods skirt so he can sit. The other is the skiff guard Fozzic. Mostly skiff guard Lando lower have, torso (i forget) with Willow Hood's head. Modded the helmet and added soft good rag. The skiff guard Lando armor was cut off and glued on new body."
Man, wouldn't it be great if we could get these two on a vintage card!

"Boneless Super Street Sk8prk" Review For Customizers:
The fences are scaled well, but 4 out of the 12 in the box have sculpted "Boneless" logos that will need to be covered with a sign or cut out for damaged fences before they can really be useful. The fence height is pretty good against a 4" "Fortnite" figure. The smallest closed shape that you can make is a pentagon due to the shape of the fence stands.
The center obstacle is a decent size but has a woodgrain pattern that will need to be sanded before it can be used for most dioramas.
The large yellow standing bowl is the hardest piece to find usage for, but I am sure I will figure something out.
The graffiti stickers are good for use in urban dioramas and will be going into my Swap Shop as they are written in English and my "Universe" is based on the "Star Wars" Universe so I have no use for them.
For $5.99, these were a great fodder purchase."
Not bad for the price!

"One hull would take 12 1:18 figures with their bases easily. so there is good potentials for Mark-V like tanks.
~10$ CAD in new materials:
3 stack-able storage boxes = 3x1.5*1.13
2 side boxes =1x1.5x1.13
1 pack of 6 transparent cups for back engines = 1*1.5*1.13 only 2 out of 6 used
+ probably another 10$ worth in paints, bits, parts, glue, cardboard, etc.

"About time I start working on some of my own projects again. Here is the Death Star Tractor Beam Chasm. I considered going higher So I could add another doorway and ceiling greeblies to double as the chasm "swing" scene but I have a specific shelf it needs to fit on."

"I made a new bigger dio for the free space I had on the display cabinet: a market on Tatooine.
It had to fit a lot of figures and make them visible the best it could, so I basically build up the walls and carved some places the lights find its way inside."

If you are like me you would love these to come out in 3.75" scale, but man these action figures from the old Dungeons and Dragons Cartoon Series sure do bring back memories.
