"I am having a little builder block with my Arkham Asylum diorama. So I'd thought I'd throw together a small ruin piece, it's going to be a single figure display piece. Right now I'm still working on the overall structure before I start carving in brickwork.
The base of this build is a small box shape comprised of a 20 mm base piece 7.8" x 5", a 20 mm back wall of 6.9" x 8.7" and two side walls 5" x 8.7". I have also made two pillars which are made using corrugated cards glued onto kitchen rolls."
Looks like a great way to get over a creativity block.

I have started a daily check in with this and am noticing this is steadily loosing backers each day. We are down more since yesterday around the same time.

I am left hoping that Hasbro realizes they need to save this by either lowering the price point or replacing some of the not so favorite unlocks with some better pack ins; like the Rancor Keeper?
I am hoping they will also see the disconnect with the fan base and use the unofficial fan sites that are out there to help guide the next selection for the next HasLab. I mean why not do a fan vote like they do for figures sometimes to help pick a product fans will want and dish out that kind of cash for? As always we would love to know your thoughts about this and the ideas presented above. Would you be down for a fan vote on the next HasLab?

"After another week with the office, I found time to do a bit more structural work with this piece. I have added what will be two cell doors that can be found within the game. I had added another layer of 6 mm foam to the floor outside of the cellblock, raising the floor to match the level of the floor. An extra layer of 6 mm foam was added to the front wall to hide the join between the cell doors and the front-facing wall.
My next step is to start shaping the two cell doors and adding tiles to the floors."
He is really making great progress!

"Hi All,
Frankenstein's Monster - 1:12 scale.
Note - I've added a pic of what the original figure looked like at the end.
Recipe.
Monster - is from Jada Toys and I repainted and weathered him using Vallejo Paints, I painted the clothing all black and painted the skin to give it a green/yellow hue. I added a metal brace and straps on the left wrist using plastic card and I mixed some red/black paint with some clear resin to simulate blood.
Base - the base is high density foam and I craved the stone work using a pencil and then I used a piece of stand stone and pressed it into the foam. The door and floor were made using balsa wood and the bolts and handle bracket on the door is plastic card and the handle is a metal O-ring.
The dirty blanket is a dried baby wipe and I just painted with German field grey and then a very light wash of brown. The shackles come with the figure but I cut one set in half and made brackets for them with plastic card and small metal O-rings."
Man, Ron just makes magic with whatever he touches.

"After I had bought some custom fodder from this seller on ebay, I kept an eye on his following auctions. I estimate he sold about 1,500 figures in the bay and this custom figure was one of them. It came with 4 other figures and a couple accessories. The winning bid was at 43€ so I paid less than 9 bucks for this amazing custom."

Our first shipment of books to our producer level backers and Library of Congress were mailed and have started arriving at their destinations!
The next batch of books arriving by air shipment will be in our possession next week. We anticipated there would be a slight logistics delay, but it was a little longer than we hoped. They are on route and we will start shipping those books immediately upon receipt and they will make holiday delivery.
We're also hearing encouraging news that things are picking up at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and we're still looking at arrival around mid-December. We will keep you updated on the situation in future updates."

Back in 2009 we planned & built our first diorama together and wanted it to be modular. So the past weekend and days following it were very special to me. It's good to see some friends again after a very stressful time.

"This project was another commission, and one that I was sad to see leave. Over the course of this project, I found myself meeting unique challenges and learning new things that I'll always have in my tool box. I'm grateful for the opportunity to bring life to such a cool character, and for all the skills I learned along the way.
The parts required for this figure were a Clone Wars Plo Koon, a season three Clone Wars Obi Wan, and the garments were taken from a 30th anniversary Hawkbat Battalion Clone Trooper. Plo Koon's head remained mostly unmodified, except for his specialized mask, which was hand sculpted."

Well methinks Hasbro is acknowledging either their choice or their launch of the first Black Series HasLab has been a bit haphazard and this is the first offering I can remember that has seems like it is in true danger of not being met.
So today at 11AM the Brand Team is going to unveil the last bit of news about the Rancor including the painted reveal and the final two unlocks. We would love to know what you think about this offering. Are you backing it?

"Final pictures are now live on my website, and this piece is now ready to be boxed and shipped out to its new owner.
Gone back to my Arkham diorama today, I have finished cutting the two final walls and added an extra layer at the back of the corridor. My next step is to cut the cell doors, which (due to the scale of this piece) will be just larger than the Arkham 7" figures and not the size that they are in the game. Needs must and I have yet to work out what to do with this once I have built it lol.

"Amazon cancelled 4 of my pre-orders without letting me know. I mean they could've at least sent me an e-mail!
Amazon silently cancels pre-orders after months of waiting, but what's even more concerning is that they don't care anymore if I'm happy or not with their behavior...
When I pre-ordered these items, I kept my hopes low that I'd actually receive them. But Amazon had them online for weeks and even prices went up and down. After Amazon UK offered them on the German Marketplace, Amazon Germany offered them a few weeks later. I don't know what the deal is with the AT-ST Raider. But looking at the eBay prices, I can only pray for a second run similar to Boba Fett's Slave I.
So I had to find out for myself that my orders are no longer coming. They were suddenly gone and it took a little of looking around 'til I found the section "cancelled orders" on my account."

"Found more metal parts on AliExpress. This time around a few dozen metal cones arrived, which can be used as lanterns, torches or even drinking glasses! They come handy to add to your Jabba's or Boba's Palace or other cantina dioramas. There are all kinds of charms out there, which could be useful for 1/18 and 1/12 scale needs! Have fun!"

"Hey everyone, its been a while!
Hope you’re all well!
Finally got a Gaming Greats Boss and decided to finish my Delta Squad custom.
Added some weathering with paint and sandpaper on Boss
Scorch was repaint of a Boss figure, with 3D parts from Skylu3design
Fixer was a Hunter with Skylu3design parts. I printed everything in PLA and had to wetsand the helmet to get it silky smooth.
Sev was another Hunter with a Vanilla helmet from Cooper Fanning over on thingiverse
I made them according to their TCW appearance instead of the game since the base figures were closer to that version."
I have to pick my jaw back up off the floor! And the picture you see above is the figures just like the stock photo of the game! So awesome! You will definitely want to click through to see the individual pics.

"Finally got round to taking some photos of the custom 6" Mara Jade & Luke Skywalker from Heir To The Empire.
Luke Skywalker (Myrkr Capture): 6" TBS 40th Anniversary Luke Dagobah with repainted legs and head from 6" TBS Luke Endor. Cut up pieces from 6" TBS 22 Jyn Erso headscarf with the plastic hood cut from ROTS-28 Anakin cloak to make waist overalls section."
