Started out shooting key frames, then began animating where it made sense. This material has been re-written, but the core story remains the same."

"Hi All,

I don't know much about the Necrons from Warhammer 40k the Necron were once flesh and blood beings and over time they became robotic, The flayed ones were cursed and now crave flesh which they can’t eat so the wear the skins of there enemies over their bodies.

Necron Flayed Ones - 7"

Recipe.

Necron - is from Mcfarlane Toys and I removed the figures and added blades using plastic card and the legs were cut and extra length added by using plastic card and plastic rod. I repainted the figure by giving it a black prime and then painted it silver then used GW Agrax Earthshade to tone it down then lightly dry brushed it with silver to add some highlights.

The skin was done by spreading out PVA glue on non stick cooking paper and once dry in was painted flesh tones on both sides. I then mixed some PVA glue, Red Gore paint and Matt black paint and mixed it together and applied to one side of the skin and then attached to the figure."

Talk about awesome!

"Hi All,

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

This is a commission piece for a friend and will have Vader standing as seen and Tarkin sitting in the chair.

Vader is from Hasbro and I have glued the joints and just need to paint him. The walls and floor were printed by a mate which I got of Thingiverse and I painted them using Vallejo paints.
The lights I did by using clear resin and then adding white paint to give it the glowing affect.

"ARC trooper inspired by the Rohirrim from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Rohan's colors, at least in the movie, were green and gold. Combined with their ancestral lands, roving hills with golden grass and rocky outcroppings."

"The outline of the bricks have been scored, I've raised the throne from the floor using a piece of 6 mm board and scored stone work into it. I've also cut and scored two stone pillars to frame the throne in the centre of the room.

Next step is to add detail into the stone walls and floor."

He is definitely doing a great job on this one.

I just got done writing my take on this episode, and the series to date for that matter. This latest episode was just hands down a work of art on so many levels. This news post is spoiler free, but this link is any but so be warned we talk about the whole story from start to finish. It was just that good.

Thank you Jon Favreaux for creating and continuing this. Folks he is just a true fan of Star Wars like us. Trust me, if you like real Star Wars, this episode will tear you up!

"This turned out to be really fun to make!

Custom Black Series Fennec Shand Ming-Na Wen

Did my best to capture her likeness!

Base fig was combination of #mcu ML #blackwidow and #clairetemple

Braided ponytail was from twisties, then sculpted on top of

3dprinted designed and printed her satchel parts. Rest of the costume was a combination of cloth, foam, and electric tape."

That braided hair is just genius, and from twist ties! She looks fantastic!

"Hi All,

1:1 scale head.

Recipe.

Head - was printed of by a mate who wants to display the head inside his Vader helmet and we both
decided that Sith eyes would look way better then normal eyes. I painted the figure using Vallejo Paints and I then added resin with a touch of red and covered the eyes with it.

The Vader figure is 6" scale to show the scale of the head.

"DHI thought I would post some more detailed picture of the vehicles I made with the latest batch of customs.

J8K-721 and Speeder Bike
The front end is a motorized AT-RT walker and the back end is Rey's Jakku speeder. The rifle holster is made from an old vinyl light saber.

Melnat and Speeder Bike
The front end is Storm Hawks Talon Switchblade Elite with some Lego greebles. The engine is the base from the cannon that comes with the SW Miriban Trooper Han Solo and Chewbacca set and one of the Twin Turbines from the Men in Black Stalk-eyes figure.

Shaba Kingdo and Wasteland Speeder
The main body is a C.O.R.P.S. Speed boat, The hood is the gang plank from a SW Millenium Falcon. The engines are from a Super Hero Adventures Iron Man Starship. The attached pack and satchel are from Disney Atlantis figures and the pipes are from a SW ASP-7 figure."

Ron Hembling completes his Boba Fett Project...

"Hi All,

Boba Fett - The Mandalorian 1:12 scale.

Recipe.

Fett - is a Hasbro BS 6" Fett from TESB except for the legs which are from A New Hope Kenobi, I used dried baby wipes for the cloth sections and the belt I used cloth elastic and then glued the rounds one which are plastic rod and then used a strip of pleather for the rounds holders.

The holster is for a Hasbro BS 6" figure and the gun was also from Hasbro with plastic rod and plastic card to finish of the weapon and the tubes on the right arm are from and old 1:6 scale Secret Agent ear piece. I removed the range finder from the helmet and removed the arm from the finder and replaced it with plastic strip and reattached the finder.

Base - is a mold I used from Woodland Scenics and the tufts of grass are from Gamer Grass.

"Before diving into that project I got these ladies finished up:

First up is Ahsoka in mando armor. This is the walmart exclusive Ahsokla with sculpted armor and gauntlets from two sources. The right hand gauntlet is the removable armor jango fett 1:18th scale figure, and the left gauntlet is a REALLY old 1:18 5poa boba fett. I can't even remember which one...

Next up is Bo Katan. She is primarilly a 6inch scale Sabine Wren with the armor removed and then resculpted. Her gauntlets are a combination of pieces sliced off of resin copies of the bandai Boba Fett's Gauntlets and then finished out with sculpting. The knee pads are also resin casts of the bandai fett's."

So we have a few new movies and shows coming!

It was hard for me to pick just two from his latest batch of 24 new customs, but there are just all kinds of different customs from droids to bounty hunters to Padawan to Jedi you name it. All of these come with just awesome back stories too.

Best of all, if you want you can add these to your own custom collection.

It is just plain fun to see the combinations and parts he comes up with for these. Oh yes, he does share his recipes!

"Finished the build on this throne by carving scales into the back of the Cobra head. Shaping the seat so it doesn't look like a couple of blocks and embedded a Cobra symbol under the seat.

With this done I can now start to build the diorama."

"Heres my custom Black Series Boba Fett as he appeared in “The Tragedy” of The Mandalorian.

Base figure was a Black Series Jango Fett

I swapped the legs of a Boba onto the fig

Cut the shoulder pads, drilled the dents onto his chest and right shoulder armor

Used a Temuera Morrison head from a Kamino Trooper that was hidden under the clone helmet

Shaved off the hair and sculpted his head and scars

Soft goods cloak made from layers black cloth to be as screen accurate as possible

Drilled out a hole in the jetpack for his classic rocket firing actiono

Made his chaincode by typing out the transcript, translate to Aurubesh, then shrunk to scale, printed out as a sticker and applied to clear plastic

Bandoleer was made with PLA filament strips cut to size, then wrapped electric tape around each “bullet”

Talk about one fantastic custom. Also he has created an Instagram Handle called Mando Muggle you can follow.

With the 40th anniversary of Empire, Hasbro celebrated
With 6 inch but left us 1:18 out in the cold.

So I present to you LOBOT, what we need to accommodate
Our beloved Bespin chamber! He is sporting a new Headsculpt from Evergrey. Inspiration for the body was create by Yaj, which is best recipe to date."

"I've been commissioned to create a G.I.JOE Classifieds diorama for Cobra Commander with a throne.

The diorama is to be 45 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm, I'm not sure whether to 80's cartoon or to take inspiration from the game?

While I decide I'm going to start work on the throne. Using foam board I have created the basic structure and have finished for day by using PVA glue to fix two pieces together for the back of the throne."

As you can see he is already off to a great start!

Four runners-up will be selected to receive LEGO Star Wars The Child (#75318), LEGO Star Wars Poe Dameron’s X-wing Fighter (#75273), LEGO Star Wars Sith TIE Fighter (#75272), LEGO Star Wars AT-AT (#75288), and LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest (#75292).

"I did a little work on the lil' B, been lazy lately. The belts need a lot more work.

I got a 1/18 Joy Toys german mortar, for my Mortar trooper. Also made a backpack with the sandtrooper cylinder grenade things that go on the back of the belt. The figure is just a painted R1 Stormtrooper with a painted pauldron. The TVC Stormtrooper Luke works better for pauldrons FYI. R1 ones, the head pops off frequently."

I am liking both of these, but especially that mortar trooper!

"I present the Moronsters!

So, lets start off by saying I'm a weird dude. For a while I've been putting together a pile of figures where I did some very crude sculpting of weird heads and other features, figures that didn't necessarily go with the mostly Star Wars figures I usually put together. Extending from that I thought it might be fun to put them together with card backs. I was very much inspired by Super 7's The Worst series, which of course is a throw back to all those cheap knock off/bootlegs figures from my childhood like Bugmen from Insecta and Dragonriders of the Styx."

"Swung by Dollar Tree on the way home. The "Final Faction" line is finally starting to hit. They only had 2 cases of the hero characters but are expecting cases of the villains and the accessory sets tomorrow or Sunday.

I only picked up 1 each of the figures minus the female character as that figure looks TERRIBLE (not even worth $1 to be honest). I haven't opened them up yet as I am cooking dinner, but my first impressions are not great."

"Hi All,

Space Wolves - Long Fang with Heavy Bolter.

Recipe - The figure is from Mcfarlane which was repainted and the back pack was redone using plastic card as was the heavy bolter, I also used a piece of the connection that the back pack slots into to make the bolters hand grip and the magazine drum was made using a soft drink lid and plastic card.

The fur is fake fur which I gave several washes of brown to and the purity seals were made using high density foam and an old hanky, the teeth were done using high density foam and the I used O-rings to attach them.

The symbols on the shoulder armour and left knee were drawn on with a pencil then painted and the power cords were done using electrical cord.

Base - the base is the same one I used for the Grey Hunter marine."
