"So back onto the 1/32 Porsche 917K. Since we have some of those small red nano leds, it’s time to address a nagging problem I have with all my 917k models. None are equipped with working brake lights. The lenses are there on the larger 1/24 version but no lights."

"Hi All,
Sandtrooper Grunt - 1:12 scale. This figure was done to go with the Sandtrooper Squad Leader I did the other day and there is a pic at the end with the two.
Recipe.
Trooper - is from Bandai and is built straight out of the box and he's joints were covered using a black stocking and I drilled out the holes in the DLT-19 muzzle and he was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel Chalks.
Base - is from the SW Legion Occupier tank and the rock was done using a large rubber mould from Woodland Scenics and was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints. The sand is a mix of sand and spakfilla and once dry was given a few washes of Vallejo's Iraqui and the smaller stones are kitty litter which were applied while the sand mix was drying and were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
The small tufts of grass are from Army Painter and were given a few drybrushes of Vallejo's Beige Brown to give them a more dryer look to them.

"Hi All,
Sandtrooper Squad Leader - 1:12 scale.

"Hi All,
Rebel Snow Speeder, 28mm.
Recipe.
Speeder - is from FFG SW Legion and as with their other vehicles and figures this kit has awesome details. The speeder was built straight out of the box and painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is high density foam cut to shape and the rock was done using a plaster mould from Woodland Scenics and was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints. The snow is watered down spakfilla which was applied using a medium brush.

"Hi All,
Wampa Attack - 28mm.
Recipe.
Figure's - The Snow Troopers are from FFG SW Legion box set and the Wampa's are from FFG Imperial Assault which I got from a mate in my model group. The Wampa being shot has had his right arm modified and then puttied up and I also did two blaster hits with smoke coming up as his fur has been burnt.
Base - is thick foam board and the walls and ceiling were done using high density foam and then watered down spakfilla applied over it. The walking plates are just pieces of plastic card I had in my bits box and the crates are from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set.

"Hi All,
Scout Trooper dio #2, 28mm.
Recipe.
Scout/Speeder/Probe Droid - are from FFG SW Legion and Imperial Assault and the only mods done were to the speeder's handle's as I had to remove the arms and replace the throttle/handle's with thin plastic rod.
Base - is thick foam and the ground work is a mix of sand/dirt/lichen moss/static grass/thin sticks/dried leaves which were blended and applied to the base. Once the mix was dry it was given a few washes of Vallejo's Chocolate Brown, the ferns are plastic palm tree leaves which I trimmed down and repainted.
The tree is a branch which I just cut to size and foliage is a mix of grass tufts and lichen moss which I picked up from my local gaming store.

"Hi All,
Scout trooper dio #1, 28mm.
Recipe.
Figures/Speeder - are from FFG SW Legion and the Scout trooper has been modified so that his left leg is on the ground and I used arms from the FFG SW Legion Scout trooper box set. The Sand trooper was slightly modified by modifying the right arm and the DLT-19 is a 1/35 German MG-34 which as been shortened, the backpack is from the heavy trooper from the FFG SW Legion box set and I removed the backpack and glued it into place.
Base - is thick foam and the sand is a mix of spakfilla and sand and once dry it was painted, the vaporator is from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set.

"Dad has wanted to add the Clone Wars version of Saw Gerrera to the collection for a long time now. So much so that he took it into his own hands to make it happen.
Once Dad started Saw, I just had to make a Steela. The legs are from the Clone Wars Padme, the forearms and hands are from a Cato Parasitti.
We just loved adding this brother/sister set to our collection. Their appearance on our shelves was long overdue!"

"So here are a couple of quick projects I did for some friends. The first is Jimi Calrissian, the greatest guitarist in the universe. Pretty simple repaint of the Kenner Lando with a sculpted afro/headband and Greedo's vest. The guitar is from a Playmobil figure.
The second was a requested custom from a friend who wanted a Howard the Duck Movie figure. The head, tail and feet are sculpted. The body is a Kenner Ugnaught figure and the jacket is cut down from trench coat from a Star Wars figure I have forgotten. I made the play duck out of a piece of craft foam and a screen shot from the movie."
Now that is some awesome skill in customizing and custom cardbacks.

"It barely counts as a custom, but here's a TVC Stormtrooper Han head swapped onto a VOTC Han body.
The VOTC Han has a big neckpost, and the Stormy head needed a lot of Dremeling to fit. There's also a big skin tone mismatch, so I painted the VOTC neck with Vallejo "Basic Skin Tone" for a smoother transition.
This headsculpt is awesome, and I'm planning to repeat this with my LC Death Star escape Han and TVC Bespin Han."

FialaFernbrugg gave me precious advice and a hint at GIMP, which I already had forgotten about. GIMP is a complex and excellent freeware with incredible functions. I even forgot that I allready had it installed on my PC since I only worked with Paint and Microsoft Office Power Point for my last projects.
So a big shoutout and thumbs up to FialaFernbrugg! Thank you so much for your support!

modified the Imperial Emblem for my Purge Troopers."

Boba Fett #3
Recipe.
Fett - is from FFG SW Legion I converted this one by cutting the limbs and torso then filling in the gaps and I painted him ROTJ colours and he was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - thick foam board and the control station and cargo box are from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set. The dirt is watered down spakfilla/sand and once dry a gave it a light wash of Vallejo medium brown and the grass tufts I picked up from my local gaming store.

"Figure: 3,75", 5POA from the Rogue One Baze Malbus vs Imperial Stormtrooper battlepack
Modifications:
- added limited articulation in arms and wrists
- wiring for the radio device on the chest plate
- drilled out hole in the exhaust vent of the weapon-backpack
- drilled out muzzle
- repainted weapon
- weathering
Here you have a simple custom figure. I added some articulation in the arms. The weathering was made with washes, pigments and drybrushing."
He really pushes these 5poa action figure statues into great new territory.

"Oh, I ended up cutting lengths of shrink tube to split and use as a backside partition of sorts that I have mounted over the backside of the head and tail lights. I made little shades looped over the two little fog light leds as well. The end result is better than it was and something I will live with as the future projects are piling up. The camera doesn’t do the front end justice as with your eye, the fog lights are much easier to see."

Now this is one awesome video of what the lightsaber scene would have looked like between Vader and Obi-wan in ANH using today's technology. Cool stuff. I could go with redoing the OT (same story line and all) but adding new special effects like that.

Recipe.
Fett - is from FFG SW Legion I converted this one by cutting the limbs and torso then filling in the gaps and I decided to paint him TESB colours. The sling is just A4 paper painted and cut out and glued in place and he was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - thick foam board and the moisture evaporator and cargo box are from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set and the generator is from FFG Imperial Assault E-WEB Heavy Blaster the sand is watered down spakfilla mixed with sand.

"When I asked tunghori about the online/etailer Exclusive Wave of TVC repacks with photo-real technology, he already confirmed that he was going to get them. So my assumption seems to be correct: he got new figures during his 10 day absence on ebay.
Now, he got the first four updates figures of the Vintage Collection and I’m glad I checked ebay today once more!
These are selling like homemade bread - also because JTA posted that he had TARGET exclusive Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise), which is long gone now even for $22.99. But most likely tunghori is prepared to make another $10k and will restock, soon! The last Han (Hoth Outfit) sold just when I clicked on the offer - gone!
So keep checking back!"

"Carrying on the theme of dark side ambiguity. Here's a 3.75" Luke as a Jedi Master in a black outfit. Probably been done before, it's a simple custom using the TVC 79 Darth Sidious. Repainted head from a Force-Link Luke (Jedi Master), dremeled to fit. Hands are from the TBS #20 Jawas 2-pack. Cloak from TSC 034 Garindan."

"Hi All,
Snowtrooper and Probe Droid 28mm.
Figures - The Snowtrooper is from FFG SW Legion and the Probe Droid is from FFG Imperial Assault and both were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is thick foam board and the rocks are pieces of high density foam which have been ripped apart glued in place and painted. The snow is watered down spakfilla which was applied using a brush.

"Hi All,
Rebels - Battle of Scarif 28mm.
Recipe.
Figures, are a from FFG SW Legion and are the Endor Rebels and the leader has been converted using parts from Airfix 1:48 scale RAF WW2 ground crew and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is thick foam board and the sand is a mix of fine sand and spakfilla and is mixed with water until I get a consistency that looks like pan cake mix and then it is applied to the base. The palm tree's are from ebay which were painted using Vallejo paints and the bushes from Woodland Scenics fine leaf light green set and the grass tufts are from Army Painter.

"Hi All,
Lord Vader has Arrived 28mm
Recipe.
Figures - are from FFG SW Legion and the two troopers were the ones with the heavy weapons and I removed them and gave them both a German WW2 MG42 from Tamiya's 1:48 scale German's on maneuvers. Vader was converted by cutting and repositioning his arms and then filling in the gaps. The figures were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is a combo of foam board and high density foam and the walls were shaped and the floor plating is plastic sheet. The rocks are ripped pieces of high density foam and the snow is watered down spakfilla.
The cables are from an old set of ear phones and I cut the lengths out I wanted and glued them into place and the metal bracket holding the middle of the cables is just thin wire cut and bent to shape and glued into place.

Base- is made using high density foam as were the rocks, the floor plating is plastic card and the pipes/hoses are old ear plug cables. The console is from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set. The snow is watered down spakfilla and was applied using a small brush.

"Rey (Scavenger/Speeder) with soft goods headgear: This is the TBS 6" Rey that came with the speeder, with the head from TBS 6" Rey (Island Journey) and custom soft goods headgear, made from the material of 2x Episode 1 Tatooine Accessory Set ponchos. Goggles cut from the speeder head and fitted with elastic."

"Another Rogue One custom figure I made: This time pretty simple. I took a 5POA tank pilot from the Jedha Revolt battle pack and gave him some articulation in the knees and elbows and wrists and I added some weathering.
The addded articultion was made with wire and foam rubber round cort (you can find a detailed tutorial here on ISY in the tutorial section). The weathering was made with AK washes, Revell pigments and a pencil."

"Fooling around with more of Jabba's goons and some cantina patrons.
First up is Gauron Nas Tal.
I decided to make this guy because of all the extra Bossk bits and Bom torsos I've accumulated. The Bossk head fits the neck post without modification, so that was one less thing. :) I sanded off the torso details and re-skinned it with Green Stuff, leaving a few "wrinkles" that I mashed in with rubber gloves."
Needless to say this is just a taste from one awesome update.
