"I decided to use modge podge for the 3d printed items. I had the idea to give it texture, I'm not sure if it was a good idea or not. I think next time I'll go multiple thinned layers of modge podge. Still better than the 3d lines. Also painted the Bunker and checkpoint.
Next I will start painting the outer walls."

"The goal is to create a large-ship landing pad (shelf) big enough to house the BMF Falcon, the Crest, and the upcoming Ghost all at the same time.
Here's the BMF in a proof of concept shot. Can't know the Ghost dimensions yet, but it can't be THAT much bigger than the BMF."

"Hi All,
ToD Sankara stone and skeleton stone head 112 scale.
Recipe.
stones/head - the stones are a brown/clear resin and the stone head is a 3D PLA kit from In Print Condition

I drilled out the centre of the stones with a Dremel and inserted LED's and once that was done, I added a few wash layers of Burnt Sienna to make the stones less clear and I painted and weathered the stone head with Vallejo Paints. The base and the section the stone head is on is balsa foam which is very easy to cut and carve into but very dusty.
I used a pencil to mark out the floor and the two flame holders were made using plastic rod/craft string and tabletop miniature bases and the flames were done using Woodland Scenics Water effects with a little orange/yellow paint mixed into it.

Star Wars Battlefront (2005) Dark Trooper, 3.75-inch
This was a really fun custom to put together and paint, brought back so many memories of playing the old Battlefront 2 game with my brother and friends. Bought some 3D printed parts on Etsy: helmet, jetpack, and 6x nodes for the chest and knees."

"I've got a bad feeling" 7 inch scale.
Recipe.
Figure/dio - is a 3D print which I got from Hex3D over on his Patreon page https://www.patreon.com/Geoffro and again a huge thanks to Syndicate Customs for printing this out for me. The base and Solo in carbonite are PLA printed and Indy is resin printed and I painted everything using Vallejo Paints.
The dirt is garden mulch which I throw into a blender and mulch it up until it's like a sandy/dust texture and then I apply it and once dry I use Vallejo's Chocolate Brown and give it a wash over. The grass is from Model Scene and the vines I get off ebay.

Major Bluud was a fearsome pirate hunter for the Galactic Empire. Before and during the Clone Wars Bluud was a pirate himself. Working for the Galgrebian government first raiding Trade Federation ships, then after the Trade Federation Alliance was signed during the Clone Wars, he raided Republic ships."
That is just the start of a really cool backstory.

and it comes in pieces so there is a little sanding and then gluing.
I painted with Vallejo paints, the tassels on the lantern are just pieces of string and dyed in red paint. The plants in the pots are from Woodland Scenics and posters I printed off the net and the frame work is made from plastic strip.

"I’ve been working on the commission of Doctor Who’s 1st Tardis Control Room. All console parts have been printed and I’ve added undercoated.
I’ve started working on the control room, using 2 pieces of 6 mm foam board for the inner walls. I used an apple corer to make the round things for the two walls. I have started to shape the third wall to represent the Fault locator wall. The wall still needs a little more work."
It is really looking good so far.

"Since I decided to make my fortress in a tropical environment, I added some vines and overgrowth. Maybe I went a little heavy handed or just right. It needed something. Especially being in a jungle. The idea is the fortress is very old, but the Empire commandeered the fortress and modified it for military use."

"Update on the fortress. I glued the styrofoam pieces together using clear fabric glue. Then mixed spackle, modgepodge and black paint. Then added a few coats to the foam. I did a light sand and then gave it several washes of white and concrete watercolor."

"The Mandalorian season three had some high points and low points, but it was still pretty fun Star Wars! One thing that always jumps out to me are potential projects for custom builds, and the little Pirate Snub Fighter was the clear winner from my perspective. I thought they were cool in the premiere, but when episode 5 rolled around and they’re involved in an all out dog fight, that clinched it!"

"In the last few weeks I bought an extra Klatooinian raider for parts. Then Hasbro announced Velken and Taym were on the way. Since I didn't have to continue hoarding parts to try and make customs of them, I got motivated to boil-and-pop some piratey-types. I tried to avoid permanently altering much stuff, in case I figure out a way to re-purpose them for actual OT customs down the road... Still got some deep-background cantina and palace types to do."
