"Owen Lars and Beru Lars, ok here is one that has taken us over 8 months to do. Both are sporting enhance articulation, a lot of a Beru is new sculpt which took a long time to get the right feel for the figure, both headsculpts are updated representing The way Vintage should look. Our very own Custom Jedi handle up on the amazing softgood coat on Owen and Beru skirt.
Jaeger45 45 came up with idea to have a Beru collar a separate piece and made it happen. Waterslide accompany a Beru new disco 70’s collar as seen in A New Hope. Thanks everyone this is one of hardest project our team has done and they Surpass our goals with amazing results."
I just love the collaboration Stan does with other great customizers and it really shows how great these OT Characters can be in these two new customs!

"A second layer of filler was applied and when it dried I have painted with in the crevasses with a dark brown wash.
The door has been given a coat of brown, with a layer of Pewter. The crevasses of the door I have used Games Workshop’s Nuln Oil.
When this has dried I will be dry brushing over the surface as I have done with the other pieces."
This is really taking shape! And if that wasn't enough he has also shown images of a new diorama start!

"Hi All,
World War Toons - King Tiger
Recipe.
King Tiger - is from Meng Models is based of the tanks in the game World War Toons. The model was built straight out of the box and was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks. The decals came with the kit and I made a rookie mistake and must have touched the right hand side decal while it was drying and now it's on a lean LOL.
Base - is high density foam and the cobble stone was done using a sharp pencil and the I used a piece of sandstone and tapped it over the cobblestone and then it was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
The telegraph pole was made using balsa wood and plastic rod. The ground work is spakfilla mixed with sand and dirt and then applied to the base, once dry I gave it a wash of Vallejo Chocolate Brown and the grass tufts are from MiniNatur and the taller grass is from MIG Ammo."
Looks pretty awesome to me on both the tank and dio fronts!

This is causing a lot of back and forth here at the Yards. We, as a fan base, have been clamoring for Hasbro to make us playsets for years and then when they finally do we nitpick it death! The other side is stating that you have to actually be able to play with it to call it a playset!

"Hi everyone. I've been working on a big personal project and it's taken me a while to complete. This was a labor of love for me and I happy to be done with it so I can move on. Everyone knows my love for the old Marvel Comics, especially the earliest EU stories that came out between ANH and ESB. Several years ago I completed the entire Star Hoppers in 3-3/4" figures and it was my goal to do the same in 6" Black Series. Well the day has come to reveal the team. There will be a lot of photos to pour over, but I'm proud of the work and hope some of you enjoy it.
This story line from Marvel Comics in 1978 spans issues #7-10. Some of the first EU ever published. The story was loosely based on "The Magnificent Seven"
Issue #8 cover art shows the entire group of Star Hoppers. I used the comics for reference and took a lot of creative liberties to bring these characters up-to-date."
I say I am speechless is an understatement. These are just so fantastic!

This piece is made from foamboard, I've put together the door frame and the surrounding decor. When it's dry I'll start on the door."

"Took the time to do some model kitbashing and customs today.
First, an old model car I found at an antique store... it looked ripe for a speeder conversion so with some greeblies and resistance x-wing parts I came up with this. It's 1:8th scale so I stuck Tony Stark in for some photos. Seems like this would be up his alley.
Then my 6 inch Gi-Joe Scarlet arrived in the mail so I decided to convert her into a new mandalorian. A pretty straightforward custom. Repainted jango fett helmet, some greeblies, and a jetpack."
I thought she would make a good Female Mando Base!

"Still just part of a bigger project, I installed my Tempest lighted marquee today. From a different seller, grandstand arcades, the design was similar but didn’t have screw holes for the lower stock marquee lip to mount with. Turns out, the assembly fit so tight and nicely that the screws were not needed and the new marquee holds it into place."

"Here are some various 6" TBS Imperial Officer customs I've been working on recently. Most of this batch are based around customised TBS Director Krennic figures.
Imperial Officer with light grey tunic (same uniform as Trech Molock): This is the officer that can be seen reporting to Tarkin on the Death Star overbridge just before Leia is being escorted in. He is also seen walking passed the turbolift. TBS Director Krennic #27 all repainted apart from legs and gloves, with modified head from TBS Rebel Fleet Trooper #69."

"After getting a little side tracked with my Coruscant diorama, I've returned back to this piece.
After marking out each panel, I've cut out each smaller panel using card and I'm now in the process gluing each piece to the board. I'm using a 3D printed version as a comparison."
I am still left reeling after his last creation, but this is gonna be great too!

"I was kind of stuck on this Dagobah Camp Diorama. I ran out of foam board and I wasn't sure how to do the charging lantern or the lamp. I came across the Saga R2-D2, he came with a few camp accessories, including the charger. I was just going to hollow it out and use that, but it didn't work. Back to square one. I found a gel pen in the parking lot the other day. If you unscrew the point, the end of the tube is transparent and grooved. So I used that, along with a base and a top made from model kit parts."
Trust me that is just the start of what he has to share with this latest update.

"Painted the roof, fixed the strip lights to both sides, created two small units to house the excess cable on the roof and battery pack underneath.
I still have a couple of finishing touches to do but in the mean time I've put it on the shelving which will be it's home."

"With the base coats done on the platform side, I made up a dark brown wash and painted inside all the recesses. When it had dried I dry brushed over the side.
On the reverse side, cutting up some cable and adding it as decoration. Along with adding a few more posters to both sides.
I just need to paint the platform and add the strip lights to both sides before declaring this piece complete."
This has definitely been one of my favorite projects he has completed to date and that is saying something. Such an awesome way to just have fun everywhere for this and then you can pull it all apart to have small displays, etc.

"I'm a little late with my "weekly" custom Ewok goal. Like, a week late. Anyway, here's my newest murder bear. The hood was made using the hood of Widdle laid on top of a trimmed down Teebo hood (take a look at the last pic). And the axe tool is from the Indiana Jones Ugha Warrior figure."

There have been some complaints that the factory control didn’t spin freely enough and I’ll admit, the response from the controller isn’t what I remember the true arcade experience to be.
Enter the EG Starts arcade spinner replacement controller, configured to be a direct replacement, imported from China.
I had heard good stories about this thing and figured I would give it a go."

"Hi All,
Thunderbirds Virgil Tracy dio which is 1:6 scale and I got the idea for the dio from TB episode Cry Wolf.
Recipe.
Virgil - is from Big Chief Studios.
Base - is high density foam as are the wooden beams which I used a sharp pencil to make the wood grain effect. The floor and wall was done using watered down spakfilla and sand and the whole diorama was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints."
Only Ron could take a sharp pencil and make its use look like real wood. Wow!

"Finished etching the load bearers of the platform with two different designs. Added piping, etched plates onto the platform.
I found a packet of parasol lights, where I've added them around the first floor and as lights on the platform. Which to be honest I'm not 100% sure about:
1) Because use they don't match the first set of lights.
2) I've tried to spread the 20 lights out between the two sections and it doesn't look right. (I get the lights from Poundland which at the time of this writing under lock down is still closed).
I might add another layer of foam to the platform to cover the holes made with the lights and add all the lights to the under side of the platform pointing down?"

Armor plates and Kama were all made with foam. I even made the straps for the chest armor as you can see in the WIP pics of how it works. Made a shield and flame FX for him as well. The jetpack was a J2 Jetpack I moulded then printed custom missle tips for.
So completes my Mauldalorian crew! For now..."
Wait till you see the shot of the entire crew together. So tough! I am guessing we are gonna see Ahsoka here before too long.

"I shared this guy recently, but he just didn't seem 'done'. (Needed more chains!) I got serious about him when Boss Fight announced their custom contest yesterday. While hitting the chains with a dark wash I also slopped it around on the armor as well.
The torso chains are Star Wars accessories, the weapon chain is a modified GI Joe accessory. And unfortunately I don't remember where I got the flame effect."

"The second, I've started scoring panels into the back wall of the landing pad. The battery enclosure for the walkway has been turned into vent with a couple intake pipes.
I've reduced the width of the landing platform and then finished today by making three load bearing braces for the tower side."
Oh yeah, that is a landing platform on top. The display and playbility with this dio is just outstanding!

"After so many years I finally caved and got a Revan for a "reasonable" bid off eBay, took the head off my custom figure, drilled the peg hole much bigger, and popped it onto the Hasbro version. I also modified my sculpted mask further and repainted it. Enjoy!"
Talk about one figure I would love to see re-released. Still, he sure did fix the head sculpt!

"Yesterday, I went back to some w.i.p. projects and worked on some Troopers of the Empire and the Republic. I decided to refine the Clone Trooper Commander, which I spontanously made on Easter 2019. The antenna broke and I couldn't find it, so I fixed it with wire. Shouldn't happen again and a big thanks goes to FialaFernbrugg for the great advice."

"The balcony floor I have cut notches into wall side of the floor and the wall making a secure fitting. At the moment I am keeping the floor loose in case I change my mind with what I have done so far. Added a strip of LED's under floor which lights up ground floor. The two LED's hanging either will be attached to two pillars on under side of the balcony.
At the moment I am not too fussed about the reverse of this diorama because I have an idea for that side!"

"I have noticed the side door also has gaps and sticks out near the wing
Opening the cockpit in flight mode is a no no and is reminiscent of a bad diving board, you can just tell it's going to snap. The wings seem to be slight uneven. The rubbery wing struts don't seem to help but only add to the problem."

"I’ve been asked if I was going to do any more with my Coruscant Underworld. At some point I’ll be doing more modules but because of space at home I decided to build up and create a display piece which my current pieces will fit into but adds another layer and maybe (you know this is going to happen!) a landing pad or two.
I’ve cut the back board out and measured the current pieces to this. Marked out where the balcony will go, how much dead space to use and a row for 4 new store fronts."
And he has started a Death Star Corridor for 6" BS too.

"Found a vintage AT-ST on ebay in a sorry state, (click on the picture to see how bad it was, small picture doesn't really show it) someone had started painting it and just left it ..I don't really like defiling the real vintage line but this was badly discouloured and already been abused so I picked it up cheap, cleaned and gave it a few coats of sky grey and a bit of weathering, probably going to scale back the grime underneath a bit and add some repo stickers. it came with the wrong gun on top but I kind of like it :) ..Here is where I am up to"

"I pretty much finished the outside. I might add some signs or something, but the construction is done. The front is made to be removable to reveal the Droid Workshop. I did add some greebles and a Droid Depot decal on the front, and a C-3po on the side. I like the C-3po it reminds me of Banksy street art."
