"I've added the brickwork to the walls of the first rooftop, as I have previously each of the bricks are measured 1" x 0.5". Now with that finished it is time to cut out the cornerstones to mask the magnetic tape."

"Hasbro revealed today several additions to its popular 6-inch Star Wars: The Black Series and 3.75-inch Star Wars: The Vintage Collection lines devoted solely to Genndy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars 2D Micro–Series, a beloved show from the early 2000s that explored the time between Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The characters making the jump to the Black Series include ARC Trooper, Mace Windu, and General Grievous, while Aayla Secura, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, ARC Trooper Captain, ARC Trooper, and Battle Droid join the Vintage Collection; all come from existing releases that have new decos inspired by the vibrant style of the series, and the Vintage Collection packaging also incorporates the show’s beautiful artwork. "Hey, wow! it's been months since I posted about Outpost 423. Probably I should start there; the big-shelf diorama has a name! It's Outpost 423. The guys over at Outer Rim Traders even made a custom sign for me! (Damn, I really need to paint this sign.)"

"Millennium Falcon
Not really a custom and nothing special. I added weathering to my Revell (1:241 scale) Millennium Falcon.
I used my hand drill and a hobby knife to add some battle damage. I painted the missing yellow markings with a Tamiya paint.
For the weathering I used Revell pigments (black and rust) and a black wash.
I hope you like it:"
I know I sure did! It is awesome how much better it looks with his paint details.

"Finally got my hands on two ARC Trooper Echos!
Both they’re heads were warped and poorly painted unfortunately so I got to work!
Echos rebreather was misaligned so I cut it out, then resculpted it back o to the helmet.
Added some weathering using the Sideshow Collectibles version as reference."
Echo and Fives turned out awesome!

"Time to reveal what I've been working on throughout the pandemic: Designing this toy-scale version of the Y-wing from "Rise of Skywalker" for 3.75" figures. (I'm making this announcement exclusive to Imperial Shipyards for at least a day, before spreading this news to other sites and social media.)
100% paper and wood-based from: corrugated cardboard from Amazon boxes, paperboard from food packaging, coffee stirrers, coffee cup sleeves, toothpicks, paper. Elmer's white glue. Now need to add the final details (greebles), decals and paint. Length: 21". (The Kenner classic Y-wing is 17".)
Just as I did with my toy versions of the U-wing and AT-Hauler: I will release the parts patterns and build instructions for this Y-wing for free. I look forward seeing what the SW toy-custom community can do with it. I hope to release this in early fall."
Folks all I can say is that this is awesome!

This topic here is created to collect images of prototypes from Hasbro for the modern Star Wars line.
I'm beyond thrilled to see the material that Derryl DePriest was allowed to include in his kickstarter Archive Edition book about The Vintage Collection. As of this post, the crowd-funded books are supposed to ship in September 2021.
I've previously reviewed a prototype of the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, which was part of the Class II vehicle assortment in The Clone Wars line in 2009.
But the reason why I start this topic is a video by Rustbelt Collector. I already shared a video of him a while ago when we discussed these Phase II Clone Trooper bootlegs based on the III-41 Clone Trooper of the ROTS line from 2005."

"Almost finished the construction of this build. I've scored the panelling into the wall, added the door lock and vent, then added some more wall decorations. I have added another layer of foam to the back to not only strengthen the wall but to add a lip which I'll add magnetic tape to join it to the base.
On the floor I have cut two pieces of 10mm foam board and glued them together, I then scored into the floor 2" x 2" panels."

"I've started a new display piece, being a lover of the X-Men and reading the comics and watching the cartoon series through the '90s. I recently bought Marvel Legends Weapon X figure and wanted to build a piece for this figure, to which I read the Barry Windsor Smith Weapon X series, watch X-Men 2, Wolverine Origins and X-Men Apocalypse and then while watching X-Men Animated I found the inspiration I wanted. So for this quick little piece, I'm making a wall from Weapon X, Lies and Videotape X-Men animated episode. This will also double up as a generic figure display (and my model to support this is MOTU Roboto)"

"After watching the entirety of "Star Wars: Droids" today on Disney+, I was struck by some of the cool, original designs used in the cartoon.
I used some spare Build-A-Droid parts and quickly whipped up these work-in-progress droids (still need painting) based on 2 of the more memorable astromech designs from the 2 part special "The Great Heep"."
This is just the start of a great project!

"I've decided to call time on this build, bless my client for having to put up with having to wait so long while I was on jury service for 6 weeks, I don't want to drag this out for him. The added extras are an electrical box with cables running up and down to the right of the door with a couple of decals added."
