"I know its been a long while, figure I would post my latest custom, 00M-9 is a simple paint application, was the retro battle droid, first time using my air brush i got last Christmas. Surprised Hasbro hasn't done this character as simple as it would be for a rerelease, specially on the retro cards."

We haven't had new Star Wars in a bit so our next outing for the franchise is Star Wars Visions; an anime sort of shorts which I kind of feel is copying Animatrix just a bit.

"I decided to keep it all black, but I did add an aluminum dry brush using AK interactive Aluminum, then I gave it a black wash to soften the dry brushing, for a more naturally worn look.
To recap, it's main construction was made of a mini hand sanitizer bottle, motts squeezable apple sauce cap and spray bottle parts. The detail parts are mostly aircraft model parts and various star wars ship model parts. I like building these, they're easy, and they all end up unique. So far this is my favorite one. I might cannibalize the blue one (my first attempt) to make it better."
I like it. It fits right in with his other Speeder and Swoop Vehicles (new one is the black one in the middle in the pic above).

"I just wanted to build something quick and easy that I already have parts for, so I'm making another swoop for my guy, that I forgot what I named him. I just got the front engine done. I wanted to give it a rotary engine look. I used a mini hand sanitizer bottle, a Mott's squeezable apple sauce top, and many model parts including B-wing. The handlebars/guns are from the tfa sandspeeder thing, not reys but the one that never made it in the movie, but hasbro made it anyway. I just need to make the back half."
It is looking awesome so far!

"Heres a custom ARC Trooper Jesse from an Echo with a swapped out Kamino trooper head. I had to heat up the Kamino trooper with a heat gun, then carefully pealed the helmet. Its still removeable!
Im pretty happy with how this turned out! Finally got my own version of the Vintage ARC Trooper trio!"

"I've been putting this off because I knew painting it was going to be a fiddly pain in the ass. But I've also been saving a space for it, building up around that space, and it's really time to hang it. So I finally painted it. The guys over at Outer Rim Traders designed and printed this custom sign for Outpost 423. Thanks! And go check them out! The Rodian workforce is really excited about this!"

"A couple for tonight. First up is a not very original, been done before, simple head swap - Sergeant Doallyn. I've had the parts sitting in my bin for a looooong time and finally cut down the neck peg to fit the Jabba's Guard helmet on the Bane Malar body. He's a little short when standing next to some other figures, but he sure looks good.
And a bit more complicated: Vren'oh a Pho Ph'eahian (from the EU/legends) mechanic. When his family's mechanic shop was forced out of business on Corulag under xenophobic Imperial policies, Vren'oh joined the Rebel Alliance.

"I recently stumbled upon the idea to use TVC Remnant Stormtroopers as the basis for new Sandtroopers - and I gotta admit, I love how those turned out. 😃 The currently available Sandtroopers simply don't have the right helmet... Hasbro's new TVC Stormtroopers finally have the "right" Stormtrooper helmet that isn't deformed or anything, but spot on...
The conversion is really easy to do:
#1 - Take a TVC Remnant Stormtrooper and drill a small hole in the back
#2 - insert the Sandtrooper backpack from a "regular" Hasbro Stormtrooper / attach a Sandtrooper pauldron (any color) / reattach the head
#3 - presto, you're done 😁"
I have to agree these look spot on as Sandtroopers. I can see folks really upgrading their armies with this new TVC Remnant Trooper. Can you imagine how many cases Hasbro could sell doing this simple conversion? I know I should get started!

It's taken a while for me, but recently I've really taken a liking to the vintage POTF coin design. It's really saddening Hasbro's only done one of those (Yak Face, only available with the TVC Sail Barge) yet.
That's why I started my own POTF coin collection. 😁 The coins are made from resin and one-sided. I've finished 10 designs so far, with more on the way"

"I'm now on the last leg of painting these two! I have dry brushed each of the four walls of each building and chimney using a light grey. I have painted each door with magnolia which will be washed down or painted over (not sure right now) and then painted the roofs by sponging on a light grey and while the paint was still wet, I sponged on a dark grey and then left to dry in the afternoon's sun.
The final touches for painting will be finishing off both the smaller building and adding electrical boxes to complete the builds and begin the next rooftop."

As before, I've designed the box with two distinct designs for the front/back - the front side is a nod to the classic vintage Kenner box, featuring the Cloud Car, and several figures. I've updated those slightly since Kenner didn't have the Cloud Car Pilot out yet when it was released.
The back sports a new modern TVC style pic with a Cloud City background and different figures/setting. The other four sides
also sport new modern images and display the action figures and an in-flight pic with Cloud City in the background.
Due to the necessary photo shootings and editing this one was a lot more work than the Speeder Bike Box... but also a lot of fun, so I'm not complaining. The family helped again during these, especially my daughter who's featured in the hand pics..."
I just love these boxes he has shown us so far. The nod to past Kenner Vintage and then using modern images is just oustanding!

"I've airbrushed a neutral grey to the cornerstones and rooftop ledge on one rooftop. On the other rooftop, I airbrushed concrete to the inside of the rooftop ledge. After they had both dried, I applied the 2nd coat of paint to the brick, which also covered up any overspray from the airbrush. Using I brown wash, I coated the concrete cornerstones and ledge and then painted random brick on both models with the wash.
The next steps will be to paint the floors and roofs before adding a dark wash to the grey cornerstones and ledge.
The other unpainted building is for the next commissioned rooftop."
As you can see he is getting into these rooftop dios. I love it how these lend themselves to so many different action figure lines.

"Hello again! It’s been a while, I have to admit 😅 Due to a lot of stress at my regular job I’m not always able to post my projects on all channels I’d want to, but when Tamer recently commented on a pic of mine on FB I went “dang, I’ve been absent from the ISY way too long”… 😅
My main hobby work has been designing custom vintage-style cardbacks for quite a while now (about six years now, I think), but about two months ago I started something new:
Custom boxes for the Star Wars TVC (The Vintage Collection) line 😁 Hasbro still hasn’t done a lot of the classic vehicles in TVC (at least, not in boxes), so I wanted to give those vehicles a nice cardboard home.
Here’s an overview what I’ve done so far:
#1 - ROTJ Speeder Bike (June 2021)
#2 - ESB Twin-Pod Cloud Car (July 2021)
#3 - SW Patrol Dewback (work in progress)"
Needless to say this is jaw dropping folks! I can't wait to see the rest of these!

"Let the painting commence! For the brickwork of both pieces, I have sponged on a red/brown paint mix. Once that had dried, I have airbrushed cement paint over the cornerstones and rooftop ledge. For the other rooftop, I am thinking of using a light grey."

"I made a Gungan Pirate. Using a tvc Gungan warrior with a modified Jar Jar Binks head. I cut the eyes and lowered them then epoxy puttied eyelids, that make him look more serious, along with a mustache. Then used epoxy putty to make rings, necklace and earrings.
Barbo Grog was a Gungan who fled Gungan city near the end of the clone wars. He was disgusted with Boss Nass for selling out to the Naboo and for Jar Jar Binks laying the groundwork for a Naboo to become a ruthless dictator."
Now this is a great Gungan with a great backstory!

"The two rooftops are now drying in the sun of a new day after being sprayed with matt black paint. I've added a brick chimney to each rooftop and cut half an inch off one of the rooftops, which completes the build phase. This evening I'm planning on getting the first layer of brick paint done."

Figures - are from Dark Fire Designs https://darkfiredesigns.gumroad.com/?sort=newest and a friend up sized them for me and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is from a Tamiya T-Rex model kit and I used spakfilla and sand for the main ground work and the foliage is grass tufts.

Recipe.
figures/AT-ST - The AT-ST is from Bandai and the Stormtroopers and from Fantasy Flight Games and the AT-ST Pilot is from Skullforge Miniatures https://skullforgestudios.gumroad.com/?sort=newest and is a 3D resin print.
Base - is from a Tamiya 1:35 scale Triceratops model and I used spakfilla to build up the ground work and then used ground up mulch for the dirt. The plants are a mix from plastic plants, Woodland Scenics and grass tufts.

This was a nice simple display using the miniatures from Dark Fire Designs, I got my friend to resize them from SW Legion scale to 1/18 scale and the details at this scale are awesome.
Recipe.
Troopers - as mentioned are from https://darkfiredesigns.gumroad.com/?sort=newest and they were resized to a larger scale of 1:18 scale and I painted and weathered them using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is a Bandai AT-ST base and I used balsa wood and the the ground work was done using Games Workshops Agrellan Badlands texture paint.

"I've finished off adding the cornerstones to the second piece. I then cut 8 strips of 30 mm foamboard of 1.5" in height and various lengths for the ledge of the rooftop. Each piece has been glued to a wall panel, which then creates a slot for the roof tile to slot into. All I need to do is add a second underlayer of foam for the roofs and add tile patterns to each before making the top buildings."

"Mod Podge mixed with some acrylic paint will harden and seal foam dios. I'm not sure it was this video, but I definitely learned that trick from Black Magic Craft.
I share this video all the time. The scale is off, but the skills are all the same. This is where you get started making dios."

His stores in Germany are the thing of envy. I can't remember the last time I saw shelves and pegs as full of figures as this.
