"Today, during a livestream, the Hasbro Star Wars team unveiled several new products inspired by Star Wars: Ahsoka including new figures for The Black Series, The Vintage Collection and Retro Collection, as well as a new Sabine Wren Premium Role Play Helmet in The Black Series. These reveals include something for every kind of fan and collector, whether it be 6-inch-scale or 3.75-inch.
The Black Series and The Vintage Collection items will go up for pre-order tomorrow 8/30 at 1pm ET at Hasbro Pulse and other major retailers.
There is no pre-order listed for Retro Collection figures at this time but they are expected to be on shelves Fall 2024."

"WIP painting update. I painted a black wash over all of the stone work and a brown wash over the wooden door. Once the wash had dried on the wall and floor, I dried brush a light grey over them and then added a brown wash over the cracks in the floor and edges of the tiles and steps.
Once the pillars and door has dried I will dry brush them before working on the accessories."
He is making awesome progress.

"Our friend Chad aka Peak-OB1 Custom Creations sent us a glorious package a few weeks ago with all kinds of goodies.
Sic-Six were a six-eyed intelligent species who, due to their unusual appearance, were easily mistaken for pests.

"Here's the finished paint jobs and a little backstory.
Pictured Left - CT-307/87 - (Pilot).
Pictured Right - CT-4124 - Weapon systems officer (WSO).
Part of the gunship crew called "The Exterminators." The pair and their Gunners CT-152 and CT-1616 work as a team to safely deploy troopers on the deck in hot fire zones."

"WIP progress on my latest diorama commission. I’ve added a layer of mid grey to the sides of the back wall, door frame and random bricks. The door I have applied an oak brown and a dark gold to the hinges."

"I just installed glass eyes in all 24 of my "Final Faction" Decimators.
I used 3 different, yet similar, colors as I did not have 24 of any 1 color.
I still have 6 more of the eyes on the left and may grab 6 more Decimators at Dollar Tree to use the last of those eyes.
Now I just have to decide on a colorscheme to paint them."
I look forward to seeing what color he goes with for his decimators. Those eyes are a huge improvement.

"Got a bit more done today. need to clean up the dish a bit, replaced the firing missiles on the main cannon with aftermarket parts to give it the correct look. glued them in so they don't fire too, hated that feature on it ..still a fair bit to do, waiting for more paint."

"To celebrate the Star Wars The Vintage Collection The Ghost HasLab reaching its initial backer goal, we’ve released a new batch of images of this impressive ship based on the paint model of the item. These images give a more accurate picture of what the stunning final product will look like.
With 22 days left in the HasLab campaign – now is the perfect time to back the project if you haven’t already to help assemble the full Ghost crew! The project currently has 10.3K backers, leaving it just short of 700 away from adding the exclusive Vintage Collection Ezra Bridger figure to the project (11,000 total backers needed). 14,000 total backers are needed for the Kanan Jarrus figure and 17,000 total backers for the Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios figure."
Wow it looks fantastic. It will be nice to see it again in action on our tv screens real soon!

"Hi All,
Rebel Speeder 1:48 scale.
Recipe.
Speeder - is from Bandai and is built straight out of the box except the cockpit seats which I added baby wipes for the seating and paper and plastic card for the belts and buckles.
Base - is foam with balsa wood edging and then cardboard added and marked out for the tarmac. The tubes are electrical wire and the power box is from Star Wars Imperial Assault and the power poles are from Star Wars Legion.
The dirt is a mix of sand and dirt, the grass tufts and grass shrubs are from Army Painter and the plants are from Gamers Grass.

"I’ve created a couple of pillars to the size of the wall, covered them with corrugated card. I’ve created a door which will sit in front of the portal."
From the cracks in the floor to the lined column you can really see Richard's attention to detail on this. I mean wow!

"The finished product! When I was a kid, I was obsessed with The Moldy Crow once I saw it in Star Wars Dark Forces. I remember making my own version of it out of cardboard just so I could have one. (It lasted about an hour before falling apart.)"

"WIP build update.
I’ve been working on the back wall in stages. First I added the brick work, scored and detailed it. I added an arch around the door frame, added a couple of pillars on either side below the pelmet which runs the width of the wall.
My next step is to make the two pillars, which will stand freely on either side of the steps and work out what to do with the door frame, add a door or something…."
It is looking great already.

"Last night I went back to the workbench. I was fully in my element and kept painting 'til 3 am. As a side note I shouldn't mess with my biorhythm like that anymore.
But I got 6 vehicles and 3 figures on the workbench now! All have been worked on last night and 6 of them were on my list for quite a while.
Here are two of them which got me motivated to start painting, again. I want to share them as quickly as possible with you as long as they're still available at retail in case you might do similar projects."
I really like the version that matches the Battle Droids!

"A client has asked me to recreate a piece he saw on the internet.
He’s asked it be 40x40x40 cm, I’ve made the base using a 10mm & 6mm boards glued together. I’ve carved in the first row of slabs and my next job is to cut a 30 x 40 piece using 20mm foam.
I’ve glued the 30” piece onto the base, and once it’s dry I will be slabbing it. The back wall I’ve added a 20” piece of foam and at the request of my client, I’ve cut in a 10” door frame. I used a side plate to cut out the arch."
Looks like he is off to another great start. He has updates us on his Dr. Who Dio too!

"I'm really excited that Hasbro finally decided to make more Kotor figures! I opened mine today and did feel that Bastila Shan's head was a bit lacking, so I added another piece to the hair, extended her brows, and added some eye shadow. I think it enhances an already-great figure. Enjoy!"
Talk about a huge difference.
