Thanks for starting this Clonehead, you beat me too it =)
I use a varity of paints depending on the application.
Krylon Spray Paint: Used as base/primer for large vehicles and some characters. Sticks very well, and works well with other acrylic paints
Polly Scale Railroad Paints: Used on everything, I love this stuff and it sticks to all plastic types very well.
Tamiya Acrylics: First real "acrylic" paints used, lots of colors though doesn't stick well to type of plastic used to make action figures. Uses a thinner which causes it to break strip itself if you try to layer.
Floquil Railroad Enamels: Very sticky paint, much better than Tamiya though I only really use the black.
Testors Enamels: My very first paint set, which I used on almost everything. Sticks well, but switching to Acrylics was night and day.
Craft Acrylic Paint: Good for some applications because it's inexpensive, but not good for detail work.
I also have a robust set of brushes from natural to synthetic hair all in multiple sizes.
Here is a picture of my old work area from about 5 years ago when I was "Single" . My new work area is the kitchen table :|
