I finally got to go to the movies tonight and just returned home. It's only been 104 years and it seems like the wastelands of yesteryear are the wastelands of today. There is so much to say about this movie.

It is one of the most well made movies I have ever seen. Have you watched it, yet?

Yeah, I watched this movie on Veterans Day.

I agree so much to learn about war and its effects. I wish every political figure with any type of power to involve their country in war had to watch this. We claim to be so much more civilized and then we show we aren't.

And it always seem to be our kids who get to fight in wars. I do feel there is necessary military intervention (defending the defenseless). I also feel we as rational countries let some of these despots in other countries run way too rampant and let things get way too out of hand by the time we want to intervene. I mean we have seen this type of thing for how long now? I didn't get up this morning to start waxing political so just forget my rant folks.

The total silence of the audience during the end credits still give me goosebumps! I mean I could hear the man next to me breathing heavily and my own stomach growl. I listened to the soundtrack for the movie after I got home to think about everything I had seen. If I had enough time, I'd write down all my thoughts here. I probably should write them down somewhere.
