The Vintage Collection 2010 Dack Ralter
« on: July 14, 2010, 06:22:13 PM »
I found this one at the Independence MO TRU store for $9.99

Ever since I got the new Legacy Snowspeeder Luke figure and especially since I picked up the new Vintage Collection Snowspeeder, I have been wanting this figure.

As with the other Vintage Collection figures that I have had the pleasure to review, The attention to detail overflows on this figure. The sculpt and paint apps are a joy to see and the super articulation is very appreciated.
Dack includes a removable helmet, a han solo-ish looking pistol, and a new sculpt rifle with a shoulder strap. Both weapons are molded from the same wonky plastic that never seems to hold it's intended shape and there is no side holster on this figure. The legs and feet appear to be the same ones used from the Legacy Luke but the chest and airbox are different, I believe.
As with all of the Vintage Collection figures, this one came with the Vintage Boba Fett redemption form.

This is one great figure and you just can't beat a cool looking rebel pilot.
Good job to Hasbro for finally making him and for doing such a good job.

Here is a link to the video review that I made for this figure.

From your accounts, it seems Hasbro is going all-out for the ESB anniversary.  Great find, and even greater review, Clint!

I picked up 2 of these yesterday. I love what they have doe ith the add on neck piece so you can just add it ti a x-wing pilot and you have a snow pilot. BUT, I wish they had given us a real Dak head instead of the generic face wearing a skull cap. 9 out of 10 for me because of the head.

Thanks for the review!

It is a great figure.  I echo Sprywalkers sentiments in regards to the face sculpt.  Still, I guess if displaying him with his helmet on, it doesn't make much difference.

Oh, Dack... we hardly knew ye.

I would love to get my hands on this figure!  Looks like a trip to the local Target is in order!
I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.
